Dee's anger here is another subtle hint regarding an offscreen friends-with-benefit thing she secretly has going on with Charlie! Another was Charlie's line "I've been smoking with Dee". And him dowplaying Dennis's comment regarding the stripper "sleeping with one disgusting bird" These and other clues (scattered about ever since The Gang Misses the Boat) all tie together next season when Dee takes it too far!"
I thought this dude stopped watching halfway through s12? I was looking forward to him having a genuine reaction to IASIP but I guess he kept watching, what a shame
i remember hearing him say he watched all of season 12. so next season should be fresh. still some good episodes here and there but he's seen peak sunny
I agree with Claire. Quite the mellow episode. Especially considering the gangs' shenanigans. Not a big fan of Megan's writing, but that's just my opinion. Reasonable minds may differ.
i know she joined as producer in season 12. still a strong season but little by little, especially in season 13 and 14, there's a drop off in quality. and the way they handle social commentary. a bit on the nose, sometimes borderline virtue signaling. when i bring up these critiques people instantly assume i'm a trump supporter lol like everything has to be left vs right. i don't buy into that tribalism. i just think after being in hollywood so long, it's hard not to assimilate into that culture. from here on out it feels more like they've chosen a "side" and through irony are making fun only of the other "side". rather than make fun of everyone. and i'm not like someone who thought the gang turns black was too woke. it was perfect. season 13 is when this becomes more apparent. my theory is megan is shaping this. could be wrong.
Meg gets a ton of love on the podcast she seems pretty cool but I’m not a fan of the majority of the episodes she’s written, though they’re better than a few other episodes
maybe i was being unfair. just checked season 13 and the two episodes she wrote were actually quite good. one of them is probably my favorite of season 13. i just know she became a producer around the time the show dropped off (for me)
@@russianpaul77 Yeah, I have no problem with her personally. I've also heard her on the podcasts. She sounds lovely. I'm just not a fan of her writing. And although these fine folks haven't gotten there yet, there is a noticeable drop-off in quality in later seasons.
Dennis's quiet yet sinister "... yes" when Mac asks if he wants to fire the RPG is my favourite Howerton moment of the season.

Loved this episode. Megan wrote some absolute bangers I believe this was her first one.
I live near one of the mail centers where one of the anthrax attacks happened. It was closed down for years.
Mellow Chaos...good band name 😄
New Dee is the best!
Dennis is the last person who should have a rocket launcher!

He said at the beginning of the season that he had watched every episode of this season except for the finale.
Hopefully he hasn’t continued to watch more, everytime I hear how much he’s watched it continues to expand lol

aahh but in season 14 she wrote maybe my least favorite episode of the show lol
