I agree with all you said but sometimes if you disagree with something, I think you should be able to express your opinion. Only if it is done in a kind and respectful manner! What do you think?
Kind and respectful are key words. Everyone lives the life they choose and should be respected. But, saying negative and hurtful words can do so much damage.
I'm not a subscriber but was scrolling and became curious about your quandary. It appears to me that God has given you a husband with wisdom. My advice to you is to listen to your husband and just block people who bring negativity to your channel. God bless.
@@miephoexI agree but only if it’s going to make a difference in a positive impact and if it matters. If it does not impact you and your family them I believe we should just sit back and enjoy the kindness given to us by welcoming us to a glimpse into their life. Their life and family and how they live does not truly impact me personally. I watch what they do and take away from them and implement what will work or don’t if It won’t but I don’t have a right to be rude or even to feel like I should feel inclined to try to get them to change the way they do things. I can nicely share what works for me in a better way but that’s for them to decide if it will work for them or not. However, I don’t know that we should openly negate or share we don’t care for the way they do things. Especially, if there is no good that will come out of it.

Dear Janice, you are the sweetest and kindest woman. There are so many wonderful people in this world as you know. I understand totally how you feel, I am like you in some ways. There are many bad people too and as long as I live I’ll never understand people with a dark heart. Never. Your reaction is good, there is nothing wrong with how you react to them. If someone says bad things about you or your children please block them to protect all of you. Your family especially you, have brought me so much joy and love in my heart. I raised four children mostly by myself. Recently two of my children Angela 35 and Daniel 36 passed away. Your channel reminded me of the days when we were together and when they were young. It’s a new day. I had a thought this morning. I think yours is the only channel I have seen that considers followers as extended family. Most present what they present…period. I am wondering if your nurturing welcoming very loving relationship with us is what leads so many to “ offer their input”? It’s like you have an extended family of thousands? With all of us grandmas, aunts,cousins offering our family two cents on every little thing? And talking to you like many do in families- both good and not so god. I’ve been thinking about you and the family, and saying a prayer that your heart would feel better. We’ve all experienced unfair and hurtful criticism. I’m glad you are learning how to set it aside. Because SO many people, in so many places, are lifted up by your channel! So many have learned about things that help them! Putting yourselves and your children out into the public eye, you should have known that not all was going to be sunshine and rose's. There are always going to be comments that you don't like. Not everyone is going to fawn all over you and slobber on your shoes. ( my puppy dog analogy) That's just how it's going to be no matter what you do or what your viewers say. Look at it this way, one negative thing will bring out the people who do fawn over you. So you all can bask in their glory. What will be will be. Just go about your business as usual.

Ok I am late to the party, but I will pass along to you something I was told Bout bullies, pull up your big girl pansies and deal with them! So as soon as you begin to read a rude message immediately block them!!! Don't attempt to deal with them, that is what they want. Having God in our hearts and following his word is not always easy, so I understand why you wanted to bring it to light in a way you were doing it to protect your beautiful child/children. We all make mistakes and you sharing your experience and your thoughts over whether you should have said anything or not makes others think about what they would do. I do think it's wise to block that channel because you don't need to spend your energy on others' negative opinions. Look after your hearts and your precious children. I'm getting further into the video. I would go on that channel's youtube page and send them a dm NOT a comment and ask if it was them making the comments. A lot of people use loopholes to set up a channel to imitate a real youtuber. If it was them block, if it wasn't block on the message. 🇨🇦
Dear Janice, I think it's commendable that you dig deep and question yourself when faced with challenges. You are a good and decent person. I love your family. I have said it before but I am a senior who lives alone. I have 4 grown children and 13 grandchildren and was as upset about the Rebecca comment as if it was made about one of my own. I see how many people love your family and show their love all of the time. Let the mean people go. They have to live with their miserable selves. You bring so much joy to others, including me. Even though I have a big family, I look forward to checking in with yours. You all make me happy. I support the decisions you need to make to protect yourselves.

Hi there I'm only starting to watch your Livestream (not live as I was sleeping 😊). I just wanted to say that you have chosen the harder path , in my opinion. To live and raise your children outside of the system, in the most wholesome way you can.
Your youngest daughter is just that , the youngest. She is learning every minute of every day. By your patience and "loving on her" she is learning how to be loving and kind. I would never expect a two to three year old to understand mammy's busy or don't be loud now or don't look for attention right now. Those subtleties come later on, as she learns what it's like to be respected she learns respect etc etc.
Your older children are your shining examples of loving parenting. This is to both Janice and Shawn more power to you ❤

I am 52 and from Sweden. I watch your videos with joy and it makes me happy. I have no children or a spouce. I have always wanted to live on the countryside with animals and a large family. I was born june 11 :) Well for different reasons that never happended. I am okej with that today. And I am happy in the situation I am in. But it brings me joy to watch your family and your happenings. I liked the unboixng videos because of the childrens joy and I respect and understand the reason for you to stop with them. It must be a real hassel. I like all the other videos to like the hatching videos and cooking videos, gardening videos and all other videos :D Your children is very well behaived and so sweet and kind and so are you as people and parents. Unfortunately there is a mean people in the world and will always be. And I think blocking the one´s that are the worst is a good thing. The real mean one´s cant be changed. If it is a little bit rude comment then maybe that can change by letting tihe person know that. But mostly the mean one´s are just mean. And it is hard to accept sometimes but the reality is like that. I focus on the good and the kind and sweet people and ignore the mean one´s as best as I can,. But it is hard. I am not a religious person but I beleive in being good to others. I want to be the best I can be so when the day comes I can be happy with the work I put in to be a better person. And that it is constant work. I watch another channel to and the people are som mean to the mother about everything. There is channels dedicated just to be mean to her. And they spread all kind of nastyness. They make money on that. I think that is why there is channels just dedicated to be mean to other creators. I'm chatty on this one. LOL. But I don't send you (and many others) items because I want you to get on the internet and say thank you Carolyn. Most all of my ministries are to school children who need supplies, families that need food, who will never know that it was me who donated. In church, I would funnel gifts to others who had asked for prayers because they had a time of hardship. The church would write them a check instead of them knowing it was from me. I even helped my nephew once this way, because I knew he would not take the money from me directly. All to say, I don't need recognition, I just need the Lord to tell me to do it.
