I watch a lot of your reviews, they are awesome and I have purchased a starboard 12.6 ddc after watching yours and some other reviews. I would say I’m not sure you would be riding such narrow boards in the ocean which is where I spend most of my time. If boats go by fast we get knee or even higher wake and surge and it is a huge challenge. It’s probably worth indicating that quite rivers and lakes don’t suffer the same issues we get on the coast. However saying that I have a 30" starboard now and although it has proven to be a challenge in rough weather I have improved and can manage plus it’s nice and fast. Thank you for your reviews.

Thanks glad to hear that you enjoy our videos! Boat waves is difficult depending on boat. I also from time to time go down on my knees depending of how the boat waves comes and how they look’s. Great that you enjoy your new board!

Yesterday in a very heavy swell + 2m I caught my right foot again in the shoulder strap and fell. It was not the first time, I do not want to break my ankle with it so when I came ashore I removed it. NOTHING to complain with the TW but of course I wish to paddle the 14x 28x6 to see if I can handle the same serious sea conditions with. Best speed ever yesterday: 9,07 knots (16,8 Kph). Today again 12,8 km in 2hours with a huge side swell , paddling mainly on the right side to go and on the left to come back.

I did not removed totally the rear bungie but kept a double transversal length very handy to slide the paddle under when I stop to drink or for pictures

Your paddle in sweet I never have been in. Hope you didn't hurt yourself! They are good boards, but my favorite is Allstar inflatable.🤗
