    Good review. A video on how you get your long boards strapped to your car would be interesting!

    Hello!
    Great channel.
    If you were choosing one sup. Which one would you choose? 14/26 or 14/28. You used both. Tell me, is there much difference in stability and speed

    • @danerik.westerlind
      @danerik.westerlind  Рік тому +1

      Thanks! If I choose one board it will be 14/28, It's not much difference, but at touring board are more stable and that little loss of speed is worth the stability.🤗

    7:05 does the GoPro/GPS mount interfere with lying down? Mount which is near the handles.

      For me it does and for you because we are taller than Erika. I lie on the board with my head in the tail. I also irritates on center handles on almost every board when it comes to lying on the board. Is where anything better than take a nap on the board, to hear the birds singing and be rocked by the wind to sleep? /D

    Great reviews 👍 . I’m thinking of getting an airline so was looking through the instructions online about set up etc and it states that you shouldn’t leave the board inflated with the tension cord in place as this my damage the board.
    You leave your board’s inflated, have you had any issues?

    • @danerik.westerlind
      @danerik.westerlind  2 роки тому +1

      🤙Thanks! I haven’t seen that, missed that, have seen it now, we keep them inflated all the time. So what we know of, no damage yet. Maybe it depends of how much tension it’s on the cable.

    Interesting, I got a Titan pump and the Starboard Easy aswell. I stashed the Titan away, since it always feels like pulling air through a straw... Lots of resistance in the pump without any pressure in the board at all.

      @danerik.westerlind  2 роки тому +1

      Hmm, it’s feels like that something is wrong with your titan.

      Look at our pump test, seems like you where on the right track and I wasn’t! /D ua-cam.com/video/_-nwFrQ1VXg/v-deo.html

    For 190cm/85kg rider do you recommend the board 14'0"x28" or 14'0"x26"? Or maybe 24.5"?

    • @danerik.westerlind
      @danerik.westerlind  2 роки тому +1

      Depends what you want with your paddling. 24,5 is the upper limit for the board, don’t recommend that at all. 26 is a good choice and 28 is safe and stable. /D

    I would like to hear a review about the paddle. Is a three-piece paddle worse than a two-piece paddle?

    • @danerik.westerlind
      @danerik.westerlind  2 роки тому +1

      We only have newer fixed and three piece paddles, we have an old two piece. We have the 3pcs to travel with. 3pcs is very good but I like the light weight on our fixed paddles. I will set it on the list to do a paddle review with our paddles. /D

    Have you tried using a board without aramid cable? I wonder if it really stiffens or is it just marketing...

    • @danerik.westerlind
      @danerik.westerlind  2 роки тому

      Yes I have on the 12’6. The feeling is and is just feeling, in touring speed I didn’t feel any different. In race speed (witch I normally never do) I felt that without the cable it was more flex in the board. I’m also light weight and I heard a lot of times that lighter riders don’t feel any difference with a lot of things then it comes to paddling boards compared to heavier riders. /D
