My older brother introduced me to Van Morrison and his music in the early 80s.My brother has since passed this song always reminds me of the times we would just listen to this over and over...thank you Van Morrison for giving me and my brother shared memories
I remember hearing Van being interviewed on BBC radio when "Inarticulate Speech of the Heart" was being released ... and he was asked about the sound of the saxophone on this instrumental track. He told the interviewer that when he began playing the track he noticed ... through the sound that he was hearing ... that the reed in the saxophone mouthpiece was broken. He liked the feel of the sound and the sense of atmosphere it created ... so he decided to use the broken reed for the recording. It makes for a very unique, atmospheric sound which takes you to a place in your imagination which feels very enriching! Thank you, Van!
I am older I knew this tune long before that serial killer movie. How sad that you associate a beautiful tune made long before that movie with serial killer film. I always remember the original film clip from when life was more innocent and children did not have to fear an old man blowing his horn in the park
I remember seeing the film clip in the early 80s and tracked down the album. Its been a tune that will be with me forever This is a signature tune from inarticulate speech of the heart a class ic album. The film clip is as much a part of the magic as the music is. Thanks

@@ciumelito wow! Grazie infinite carissimo Ciumelito per la preziosa informazione!!! Apprezzo tantissimo!!! Un bacione anche a te e passa una serata meravigliosa di gioia!!!!
@@MarcosBryant-lj8zi interesting question . What I admire the most is that he doesn’t have anything to sell. He just wants to tell the truth through song as he sees it. That has freed him from social constraints. he doesn’t care about that. At the same time he has the courage and fearlessness to confront those headwinds and the show business. Still is. Once plugged into what he’s all about it’s hard to listen to anyone else. So what do you admire most about George Ivan?
James 4:14 KJV - Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
I heard this by accident many years ago, it has been my go too ultimate chill ever since, we need more music like this thank you Van, thank you for posting this again
Probably a copy of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health. Van the man gives thanks to L. Ron Hubbard in the liner notes to inarticulate speech of the heart.
