The truth is Foden doesnt get much appreciatiom due to a true fact which is people hate Man City and their players so the hate automatically got to him, he has been a good talent for a long time but now he's having a fantastic season, they have to face reality. Keep shining Foden. We love you ❤️

Phil Foden has been on a tear this season and to be honest, his current form shouldn’t be a surprise given the trajectory of his career. He’s one of the most talented players that England have ever produced and despite him being only 23 years old, he’s been around for a while and has won everything there is to win at club level. He’s a local lad who’s just living his dream at Manchester City and he had to be patient because any other player in his situation at a time where they had elite midfielders, he would’ve left and tried to get more game time, but he remained patient and waited for opportunity. You look at what Cole Palmer is doing after Chelsea right now, because of how stacked Manchester City are, it was obvious to him that he wouldn’t get much game time and Foden could’ve followed in those foot steps because at the time getting minutes over Kevin De Bruyne Ilkay Gundogan David Silva and Bernardo Silva it was a difficult task and game time for young players is so important in their development.
As time went on he was getting more game time, but he was still not a regular starter at Manchester City. Pep Guardiola deserves more credit in the way in which Foden’s development has been handled throughout his career because for example a guy like Pedri at Barcelona is struggling with injuries in recent seasons because as a teenager they overplayed him in his first full season as a professional footballer which is detrimental to his career in the long run playing too many games as a teenager. A big reason for why Phil Foden is playing so well approaching his prime years is the fact that Pep didn’t overplay him when he was so young and while his lack of game time was criticized because you want to see him on the field, managing the workload of young players is so important. I felt as if people were pushing unfair narratives surrounding him saying that he’s only comfortable on the bench, not good enough to be a starter for England, Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka are clear of him, systems player overrated doesn’t do anything in big games etc, yet he has proved all of those critics wrong in the 2023-24 season.

Bcz see bellingham stats he also does defending and attacking and if he wins ucl then it's pretty much high chance bellingham wins it with laliga ucl and supercopa

Phil Foden is having the best season of his career. In all competitions he has 22 goals and 10 assists 32 G/A and has 14 goals and 8 assists in the premier league alone. He is stepping up and is slowly becoming a world class player. Everyone wanted to see him make that step up and he’s done that all season. In a span of 2 months, he has 2 hat tricks and time and time again especially when Manchester City haven’t been at their best, he has bailed them out and is one of the reasons why they’re still in the Premier League title race. Whenever the team is losing and not playing well, he’s the one who produces moments out of nothing and he’s carried them at times especially with Erling Haaland struggling for fitness and form and Kevin De Bruyne having an injury plagued season. I wonder where they would be without him and Rodri to be honest especially since they’ve been Manchester City’s best players this season. He’s not been good just in the premier league, against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu of all stadiums in their own competition, how many players can score a long range goal from outside the box when your team is losing, he’s been taking risks and those long range shots leading to goals have been something of a common theme for him all season. Not only is he a contender for Premier League Player of the Season, he’s absolutely in the race for the Ballon Dor. Very soon, they need to prepare for like after Kevin De Bruyne and while they’re linked with guys like Florian Wirtz Lucas Paqueta and Jamal Musiala, the emergence of Phil Foden means that the future of Manchester City is safe without him, as he’s taken responsibility in putting the team on his shoulders and realistically he’s more of a number 10 and while people think that he’s playing out of position, he can play anywhere he’s just more comfortable centrally. Playing on a star studded team it makes it easy for people to overlook his achievements, when the reality is that he’s probably better than most English players that got more hyped up than him including Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka realistically. He’s also unfortunate to play under a pragmatic manager like Gareth Southgate who’s reluctant to play attacking football despite having some of the most talented players in the England squad and they hinders him on the national team. He’s already won 5 premier league titles and you’d think that he would be satisfied with it, but it’s obvious that he’s hungry for more he wants to get better individually continue to win trophies and also win the Ballon Dor as well.
As a player he’s just incredible. Pep Guardiola of all managers a guy that has worked with the likes of Lionel Messi Kevin De Bruyne Andres Iniesta Xavi Robert Lewandowksi David Silva etc, said that Phil Foden is the most talented player he’s ever seen. That’s saying something about his abilities. Technical wise, the guy is just pure magic. Creativity passing dribbling getting out of tight spaces with his close control and how he glides past defenders, and an eye for goals as well. That’s an important ability for a footballer and whenever he plays, he’s basically like David Silva on the ball. I don’t understand how people say that he’s from Stockport, when he has the technical skills of a La Masia player. Every time he has the ball, he just knows what he’ll be able to create out of it and that confidence and aura is exactly what he thrives on. With him in his prime years in the form of his life’s Phil Foden is only going to get better from here and he just has to maintain his consistency and avoid any injury that would derail his progress because he’s a future Ballon Dor winner.

With Harry Kane Phil Foden Jude Bellingham Bukayo Saka Ollie Watkins and Cole Palmer all in brilliant form all of them have at least 30 G/A in all competitions this season, England don’t have an excused if they can’t win the EUROs. They have the most in form players in Europe right now who’ve had excellent seasons and it’s make or break for England and Gareth Southgate at the EUROs because with this talented group of players, it should be concerning if they still can’t win an international trophy in the summer.
