SE Kansas remains dry. I thought we were going to get a surprise shower Sunday morning, but it largely dissipated right on top of us. It was a surprise, so I'm not complaining about the tenth we got, but we are an absolute OVEN right now and there is no relief in sight. The beans need help!!!! The extended forecasts on the weather sites SUCK!
I watched that system sunday and assumed it got to Caney, no way!
I can believe it though, ive watched the last 10 storm systems evaporate as thry approach Missouri state line
Late day model runs today seem like the Ridge wants to hang around over Texas and not retrace back west
Zero storms in western Missouri
Its as if the atmosphere is broken, they develop in kansas and then just disintegrate as they move east, for a solid month straight
I was thinking about you while putting this forecast together. How hot has it been where you are located?
We have been lucky in that aspect, the storms in kansas have been sending clouds that limit our highs to lower 90s vs upper 90s. We cant get a front or even pop up showers in this region
