This film had such a huge impact on me. I am gay myself and ever since I "realised" it I had been struggling with internalised homophobia and basically telling myself all these homophobic things inside my head. Seeing the seemingly well-meant homophobia in this film opened up my eyes to how horribly I’ve been treating myself. Since seeing it I’ve been actively trying to talk to myself in a more positive way about my sexuality! Couldn’t be more grateful for this film.
I'm gay, I'm Brazilian, I think it does not matter where we are, the treatment that society has with LGBTQ people is terrible and it's important to have big, important people like Chloe taking our side.
She looks like britt robertson @brittlrobertson (the actress from the longest ride, for the people, girlboss, tomorrowland, life unexpected and ask Me anything) ♥

i can only imagine, but the worst thing about being sent to a gay to straight conversion camp must be the fact that your nuclear family acknowledges you that their religion is more important to them then you - their dearest kid.

My heart goes out to anyone sent to these awful camps because the straights™ don't understand what it means, and act out of fear by shaming other people for something they can't control
She shouldn't have to wear a mask. We're going to create a world where our people can boldly express themselves. A place completely free of psycho-manipulation. A place where people act in the best interest of humanity and the environmentm
So annoyed at her calling Akhavan (the director) gay for clickbait reasons when Desiree herself stated a BILLION times she's bi (also in front of Chloe) and literally has a show RN called The Bisexual to try and remove the stigma of #bierasure. C mon Chloe, do better.
@Alba Torres lol what? xD well first of all......... i'm not from america, so why are you attacking my comment. second, it's my opinion it was BORING. *why* are you offended by that.... go watch call me by your name - now that is a good movie.
@Alba Torres I second Violet. The movie is the definition of so-so. Chloë Grace Moretz made a big stink months ago about her movie having trouble getting distribution and she blamed the studios for being "afraid of the film's risky subject matter" which is bullshit. Because the film "Boy Erased" is about the exact same subject matter and it got picked up for distribution immediately, so clearly Hollywood isn't averse to the subject matter. "The Miseducation of Cameron Post" didn't get picked up quickly because it's a rather dull film. Even if it had wide distribution, no one would have seen it. Chloë is not a draw nor a star.
Alba Torres lol. That’s just such a good point. If I’m not bothered by spelling correctly in a stupid UA-cam comment, then I’m 1: obviously American and 2: not allowed to have any opinion on any movie ever. That’s right. Solid point you got there....
I've been a fan of Chloe's work for a long time. It's sad that she's become so swallowed up in all this liberal hollywood garbage. She's completely let her politics encompass all her roles in acting.

If she’s taking on roles she enjoys and is passionate about, shouldn’t that be seen as a good thing? Political views are something that massively impacts a person’s worldview, so it’s no surprise she wants to play roles in movies she feels has an important political message.
