No one's pointing out how Chloe managed to save herself and fight against that problem, she may not have ended it in general but she did bring attention to it and that counts for something.

@akshay Viswambharan She got blacklisted for speaking up about the horrible way Michael Bay treated her and the gruelling objectification she experienced from when she was just 15
She compared Michael Bay to HItler. You can't go around just claiming someone is like Hitler and expect there to be no consequences. In fact Michael Bay was still going to work with her in the next Transformers movie after she said that but it was Steven Spielberg who told him to fire her for it. According to Michael Bay, Spielberg was the only one who pushed for her to be fired but of course you don't say no to him.
Allen James yes is it??? She was 16, that’s no time for adults to be so worried about the size of breasts, sexualization of minors in hollywood is NOT ok
In 2013 (when 16) Chloe was working on (among other films) the Equalizer. In this film she played teenage prostitute. At the time she auditioned for the role the character was intended to be 24, however the character's age was adjusted when she got the role. IF this is the film she is talking about it DOES seem a tad precious to be concerend about this wardrobe choice, as it''s fair for the producers to consider that this character would be trying to sexulise herself via wearing things like this. She was in about 4 other films released during that period however, for which her complaints would be valid.
I was honestly so busy looking at her eyes and lips and wondering what ethnicity she is that I completely missed it. I was like, "WTF is she talking about?".
I'm soo sorry to hear that, it's a good thing you were able to speak up for yourself, everyone deserves a voice, it's really sad how many actors and actresses actually fall for this 😔❤😢

Most child actresses get sexualized around this age bc that’s when they’re beginning to develop and people notice them and then boom they’re legal. Happening now with Millie Bobby brown happened with scarlet Johansson, Drew Barrymore plenty of others.
For someone you say is blacklisted she's done a lot of work since this incident happened. Some where in a vicinity of 20 movies, 6 currently in post production, TV appearances, voice work on animated films. I suspect that's the kind of blacklisted most actors would be very happy with.

She's so lucky to have her brother as her manager whom truly cares and look after her, help her. Great that she know to stand up to something not right even when she's only 16 yrs old
I agree I have to admit that I never thought of this angle. I've heard of talented people using family members as managers and have always thought that it would probably be the best for everyone if the money and management wasn't held by someone at risk of nepotism; however, having someone like a father or brother who would likely never ever going to go along with or cross the line of the sexualization of a talented minor now occurs to me is a really good move. Either that, or you'd have to get really lucky to hire an excellent professional agent/manager. I am glad she had her brother there to unquestioningly support her.
I appreciate her doing this. I can tell she was being pushed in roles that were supposed to be older than her age at the time. I'm just glad she didn't cave into the pressure.
Very hard and very brave. She had good family support there. Her brother to help her in unforseen situations like this. You'd hope every young actor or actress would have close family or friends support to help protect them in their career...... you know it doesn't always go that way.
Justify this WHAT? Personally I would NEVER let a daughter of mine play any of the roles Chloe has played (well, many of them). Her parents put her up to this, allowing her to play SEVERAL outrageous roles from a young age. Now, if you want to debate that, and claim IT´S ALL WRONG FROM THE START, ok then... But we gotta keep a certain cohesion here. This is a girl who was at 11 years old butchering people while calling them cunts and cocksuckers. A girl who played roles where she was menstruating blood all over the place. A girl who put herself up as a lesbian slut, sexually kissing a woman twice her age. WHERE WAS THE OUTRAGE THEN??? Yes yes... if this were a girl used to play only puppy Disney teddy bear types of movies, and then all of a sudden someone wanted her to wear slutty outfits in a movie where it was uncalled for, then I would be supporting "the outrage"... But her? The girl with the biggest body count score in Hollywood? The girl who used the most foul language any teenager have done in movies? What the fuck is wrong with you??
I’m so sorry you had to go through that. But I’m so proud of you for how you handled it. I would love to show this video to my daughters when they are a little older. Thank you for sharing your story.
@hunka hunka my dude yes YES. I'm very self conscious of my body and stuff and when I walk out and see all these other girls wearing all those really fancy(sometimes rather revealing) clothes I can't help but wonder, why the hell do you need to do that like you're not proving anything to anyone. I really respect Chloe as an actress. She's dead right too. No way should the studio execs be making a decision like that on the set on day 1. If they're looking for a specific image for an actor to bring, that needs to be clear before you have people being interviewed, when the script and the story and the character being advertised to them, and even then, you shouldn't be expecting a 16 year old to wear stuff like that unless that's a decision that the actor themselves wants.

I'm reading lots of comments here dismissing her and going, "Oh well. She was sexualised before this. How can she be so naive?" They're overlooking a critical factor of control - this is clearly the first time other people are trying to take control of her and actually change her body, whereas before she always felt in control. She was also younger and probably only recently started being sexually aware/conscious in a way that she simply wasn't at a younger age. It's not even naivety. It's that she was being sexualized and might not have even had the psychological capacity to understand what was really going on until that point.

hmmm well while theres some truth to the point. but you gotta remember too how different kids were viewed and raised lets say 100 years ago. lot of the men and women in my family grew up in small rural farming towns away from everyone. lot of the women were young and helped out with chores and had many kids then. lot of the boys grew up fast having to help their parents working over the years before getting drafted in the world wars we had. plus losing either their parents or siblings also affected them. if anything depending where they grew up and what they were exposed often shaped them into the person they would be down the road. the kid part seems to be something we started acknowleding when we stopped having kids involved in the work field. the definition of it has changed and is viewed differently by our standards today.
Your right and the parents, not Hollywood bear most of the blame putting their kids at risk all for the chance to ride their kids coattails and money if the kids are successful.

In 2013 (when 16) Chloe was working on (among other films) the Equalizer. In this film she played teenage prostitute. At the time she auditioned for the role the character was intended to be 24, however the character's age was adjusted when she got the role. But idk what happened at her birthday party so if people were being nasty to her in that day then forget what i said.
No one came to tell her about it cause they feared this interview. They are lucky she didnt name drop.
This is heartbreaking, because she's an amazing actress. Just realized this was Hit Girl, and from Let the Right One In.
*"Let Me In".
@@kurtrivero368 right. The american version
@@OriginalKingRichTv ya because she was in that version, not the original
Watch brain on fire she’s trash in that
@@BergCOTS wtf does that have to do with anything you idiot
That’s why she’s not a part of the “Hollywood scene”. She saw the red flags and got the FUCK out. Good for her 🙏🏽
Will this explains why she's not working in Hollywood would any more.
So what she doing now then
she's still working in hollywood but not as in involve as last time. I think most of her project are voice cast I think.
Benzos there is clearly a double standard. Women have more pressure than men to sexualize themselves. This isn’t about work ethic and working hard; it is about how society values women into objects of gratification. She was also a 16 year old child. Would you want someone sexualizing your 16 year old daughter? Thank about it...
Been her fan since KICKASS but i guess not compromising gets you nowhere in Hollywood, SAD 😑
She's still working in Hollywood.
I have a feeling she’s talking about the time she was filming HICK. Maybe I’m wrong, but her role matches the description on wearing a brush up bra...
Aphroditeitself -maybe Carrie, that’s what I thought.
@@Ma77. She was a 20 year old adult during the filming of the Equalizer 2 film and 21 years old when the film was released. She was 16 during the filming of the movie If I Stay and 17 the year that movie came out.
I was wrong, Hick was made in 2011. Maybe she’s talking about If I stay, Carrie or The Equalizer.
Matt M it’s not Carrie bc she was 15 when she filmed that
@ wtf
I'm reading lots of comments here dismissing her and going, "Oh well. She was sexualised before this. How can she be so naive?" They're overlooking a critical factor of control - this is clearly the first time other people are trying to take control of her and actually change her body, whereas before she always felt in control. That sense of helplessness and inadequacy sounds awful and I think that's what she's getting it.
She was also younger and probably only recently started being sexually aware/conscious in a way that she simply wasn't at a younger age. It's not even naivety. It's that she was being sexualized and might not have even had the psychological capacity to understand what was really going on until that point.
Tyler Worsham
Mary Elizabeth Winstead has also talked very movingly about how those sorts sexualised expectations kind of floored her, since it was so far removed from why she wanted to be an actor honing her craft in the first place.
@@PurushaDesa You mean the same Mary who had the affair with Ewan Mcgregor? Yeah, because her morals are much better.
Raijin Wolf
Are you seriously trying to equate consensual relationships with sexually exploiting workers? (Also noteworthy that you offloaded all the morality on to her and not him.)
@@PurushaDesa Not equating, simply making it clear she's far from innocent.
What's with that "noteworthy" crap? At what point did I say it was just her fault? I never said Mcgregor wasn't in the wrong; we're talking about Winstead so I kept it about Winstead.
Building a narrative?
What movie is she talking about this happening on?
I’m glad she spoke out about this because stuff like this needs to stop and I’ll be honest I think she was sexualized before she was even 16 and it’s sad and disgusting because there are still some creeps that are in the movie businesses who just do this to ruin lives of young actresses
She's so brave for even talking about this again. I feel for her
Its not brave.
Girl! PREACH!!! Yes stop sexualizing women all the damn time, especially young women!
It's impossible to sexualise women just like it is impossible to sexualise men, this has been a effect of our evolution for incredibly long. But sexualising children is definetly wrong.
No wonder why she refused to reprise her role as hitgirl
I'm confused what you mean there's only 2 movies and she played hit girl in both of them

To be fair male actors even in teen dramas for tweens are required to work out to maintain their body and spend many scenes shirtless. Everyone in Hollywood is sexualized male, female, and otherkin.
Haha, "otherkin".
@@vnyem.c.1932 I think she's talking about the gender binary people, I think that's what they call themselves or is it gender nonbinary?
@@V.E.R.O. Well male and female are not genders. Those are sexes. Man and woman/boy and girl are genders. Otherkin means someone who identifies as nonhuman. @@vnyem.c.1932 When did I make a reference to male and female being genders?
Male and female will do.
It’s really disturbing how over sexualized child stars are. They did the same to Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, the Olsen Twins, etc
The look on her face in the first ten seconds says it all. Growing up I loved acting because everyone is equal and we all want to learn. You can not portray another person if you don't observe another person.

It's not as bad as people want to make it out to be. It's actually a good movie and the message is getting skewed by low I.Q. people who want to sexualize everything.
@Seelen Brecher*in it was not a bad movie. It just goes to show you all your taste is in your mouth. It was young girls sexualizing themselves trying to fit into a grown up world and it not quite working out. It's a movie ... Make believe.... Not real.
I don't understand why this still happens. Kids can never be kids anymore.
I know i am going to get flamed fir this but calling 16 a kid is new to human history. 100 or more years ago she would have been married and had kids by that point. Protect teenages but stop pretending their not sexual maturity. Pretending is why we have so many proplems dealing with issues with teenagers.
hmmm well while theres some truth to the point. but you gotta remember too how different kids were viewed and raised lets say 100 years ago. lot of the men and women in my family grew up in small rural farming towns away from everyone. lot of the women were young and helped out with chores and had many kids then. lot of the boys grew up fast having to help their parents working over the years before getting drafted in the world wars we had. plus losing either their parents or siblings also affected them. if anything depending where they grew up and what they were exposed often shaped them into the person they would be down the road. the kid part seems to be something we started acknowleding when we stopped having kids involved in the work field. the definition of it has changed and is viewed differently by our standards today.
Your right and the parents, not Hollywood bear most of the blame putting their kids at risk all for the chance to ride their kids coattails and money if the kids are successful.
@@brianpatrick8787 & toddlers were sent to work in factories, so what’s your point? We are in the 21st century, just because it happened 100 years ago doesn’t make it right. Or should we stop pretending & send children to work? Don’t forget that 100 years ago as you say women didn’t even have a choice. A 16 year old girl had no choice & was married off to a man older than her. Few women/girls married for love. Also, stop trying to defend what happened 100 years ago. Humans live longer, so there is no reason to be using girls as baby factories & ‘moms’ for their husbands.

I hate when they do this, they're still children and it's hurts their development and causes lifelong psychological damage. You'd think they'd learn after Lindsay Lohan and again after Drew Barrymore etc etc etc
i think its drew then Lindsay
Drew Barrymore was *before* Lindsey Lohan, you could at least get your chronological order right.
As long as the money flows, they will go to any low.
@Shane Thomson It is very rare that a 16 yo knows what the long term implications of their decision can be. Where were the parents?
Lindsay Lohan and Drew Barrymore? Read about Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. This crap has been going on in Hollywood since the very beginning.
She is so strong; wish there were more like her.
Thank you for being strong and respecting your personal boundaries. I am sorry you went through this. Even though you were young you handled it very maturely, but nevertheless that was traumatizing for you. Thankbyou for sharing and alerting other actors.
Shout out to her for standing up for herself and having a brother who stood by her side encouraging her. According to Hollywood talk, not a lot of females have someone backing them like this.
She was 16 years old at the time? Jesus Christ that's creepy.
Yea & she was like 13 when she wore them colored panties in that drifter girl movie & she didn't feel bad about that lol weird.

@Drake that doesn't erase the fact that the bra thing is creepy. Adults shouldn't be sexualising kids regardless of how the kid reacts to it.
@Drake Exactly thank you. This bra thing at 16 is pretty PG compared to the other. I'm saying more than likely because the movie Hick was like an empowering role she felt less inclined to complain about it.
Bryce Pardoe yeah. What kind of person would do such a thing to a 16 year old girl.
she has a very expressive face, and expressive voice. good storyteller
aerodog2 how is she betraying us? If anything Hollywood betrayed her by sexualizing her. she did not say that everyone who watched her movies are perverts, just the people who suggested the chicken cutlets. This situation is not about you, it’s about her.
@Daniel Welch what makes you think so?
The facial expressions are like over acting. I've seen girls and women do this hyper expression thing because I suppose it's fashionable or something. They see it and then do it. I find it quite irritating and phony really, an undesirable trait.
@@arconeagain Idk I don't see it that way. Over acting is like very melodramatic, in her case her expressions are somewhat mild and appropriate to the content. Would you advocate for her to have a very flat expression, or .......?
@@gregdahlen4375 no, you can over act in comedy too. On the upside, at least we know she is not a Botox junkie.

It's really admirable that she didn't go along with it. I'm sure lot of fully grown actresses who feel they have to go along with this sort of thing, never mind a 16 year-old, so there are possibly a ton of cases like this that we'll never hear about.

In the 1997 movie Boogie Nights, Mark Wahlberg had to wear a prosthetic.
Falcon they did it too Richard madden in Cinderella. Or rather attempted too. He claims to have tried on an “enlarger” and then they decided that was too adult for a children’s film. I’m sure it happened so many times that we don’t know about.
The Spires College Tribute Robert Pattinson from twilight also claims to have been “enhanced”
The Spires College Tribute I so agree. I think we kinda missed the only way feminism could be useful. In that it could provide true equality. Men get raped. Men can get beaten by their girlfriends/spouses. Men experience some equally fucked up shit. We’re told we’re not allowed to cry. Hell my great grandma basically told me my place in the world was to work. Leave money for my family. Then die. She was a nice woman with mental issues. But she said what she said. And I think she meant it. I’m not trying to lower the shit women experience either. This is a fucked up story that should never have happened. And their are many more. But feminists act like men don’t go through fucked up shit too. and that’s not equality. Which is what the claim to want.
