    Yay, I am glad you enjoyed the samples 💜So the Mystery ink is actually a mystery ink!! They sent me a bottle labeled as Ceramic Kiln, but we can clearly see it is not that 😂 So they kindly sent out the real version to me and told me to keep the other one but with no explanation as to what it might be. So, I have been sending these little sample vials to people who own other BPC inks to see if it makes a match ... we have not found it yet!! It may also just be a formula mishap and is an entirely unique ink!

      Aww I wish they would have solved the mystery! It’s such a beautiful color.

      How unfortunate. Thanks for letting us all know, I pinned your comment so others will find it.

      I think it was a bad mix. I saw someone that got ladybug (which is a bright red) and it was brown. They sent her a new bottle too. It’s so wonderful that they make it right. They should figure out what color it was and make it 😀

      This is interesting. So I ordered Terracotta a year or so ago and it was much more orange (ceramic Kiln looking) but recently received a new bottle of Terracotta and it is much more pink. While this sample looks more purple than what I have now I wonder if that could have been part of the mix up. I'd love to compare my "mystery" to ceramic kiln and my terracotta to this "mystery" haha

    Gorgeous BPC inks. I love Pennsylvania Fieldstone, Aqueduct, and the mystery ink. I wish we knew the name of that ink because it’s beautiful!! 🤩

    I wish more fountain pen ink stores would sell samples, too. There are some inks that I might just want to swatch, fill my pen with once and move on. Most of the time I buy ink samples from Goulet pens, but their variety of ink brands are still limited.

    Mystery ink might be Cherry Blossom? Have Fieldstone and Slate and like Ceramic Kiln. Converters are also my favorite, and I'm also not a fan of shimmers. However, I do like to use the shimmers to decorate journals. Thank you, Simone.

      The mystery ink is still a mystery and it's a BPC ink. I have pinned Jannah's comment with the explanation if you want to find out.

    Love these inks!! BPC is by far my favorite inks to use. The mystery ink reminds me of Carnation. I have Ceramic Kiln inked up for April. I want to get Abandoned Shipyard. That color is right up my ally. I had Magnolia Mirage inked up in February and I was surprised how much I enjoyed writing with it. I am very interested to know the name of the mystery ink, I love how that color looks.

      Unfortunately it was a mislabeled bottle by BPC and they didn't tell Jannah what color it was. So it's still a mystery.

    I’d be the worst at guessing, but I love the shade of pink! Also… BPC… their inks… so amazing.. plus another great ink bottle shape! 🤓😜🖋🙌🏻🌸 I usually wait for their sales and I know eventually they will sucker me in again. Funny I thought about that the other day, if I lived there I’d probably apply for a job as ROYAL INK MIXER! 😁🖋🎉

    My guess for the mystery ink is Periwinkle

    • @seemownay
      @seemownay  7 місяців тому

      That is possible. It was a mislabeled bottle by BPC and they didn't tell Jannah what color it was. So it's still a mystery.

    I agree with you on Ferris Wheel Press inks, and it's interesting to see how certain ink brands go viral as one UA-camr after another picks up on the same inks -- something that seems to work to FWP's advantage. I have some absolutely beautiful and well-performing inks from brands that few talk about anymore, including DeAtramentis, Rohrer & Klingner (other than Alt Gundgrun, which everyone seems to love), Pure Pens, Taccia, and even to some extent Robert Oster. And then there are the reliable old standbys like the ones you have mentioned, Waterman and Lamy (I'd add Aurora and Cross). You can't go wrong with any of these core brands. I don't like the way shimmer inks are so hard to clean out of pens, or how difficult unsaturated inks and many chromoshaders are to read, so I find myself returning to the inks no one talks about anymore. I also don't watch as many ink swatching videos as I used to, because I'm not as interested in the currently trendy inks. I still enjoy your videos, though, Simone.

      Thanks so much, there is a lot more fountain pen content out there now than there was even a year ago. And it's such a huge variety that one can pick and choose the videos - I totally understand you skipping all the swatching videos. I have to be in the right mood for them.
