Can hear alot of "Megadeth" in here, But hey, thats not a bad thing. Releasing a debut in 1989 was always gonna be tough for a "speed/thrash" band,big 4 locked in, second tier locked in, and Death Metal bands releasing the next wave of classic metal albums. I hear it a lot, that some obscure thrash bands are better than the big 4 and people dont get why?...most of them came when the scene was really ending and owned. I mean, as a thrash fan, in 89 you had your fav bands and were sticking with them or choosing new bands from Death Metal to spend your cash on or many were buying albums from the glam/hair scene that was having a revival of sorts. Tough year for a debut thrash band, no matter how good.
I never thought I'd hear this album again! I had this album and the 'Apocalyptic Dreams' demo back in the day. Thanks for posting. This brings back some very fond memories.
Same here... for me it's best example of sound in Thrash albums. In 80s and early 90s Active Records produced some decent bands, Dyoxen is one of my favourite.
On Discogs it says 1989 for the release year, but all (c) notices say 1990. Could someone specifically verify the 1989, please? I owned this back when, but I have no idea when exactly I bought it … :/ Also: This audio here on UA-cam is off key somehow, I'm not sure what the exact problem is; this is transposed a wee bit to make it sound crap. The actual album sounded correctly.

Excellent album; just wish it didn't end so suddenly in the middle of solo .. not sure if it was cut off or if it's supposed to end like that.

I wish the vocals on this album were a quarter as interesting as the riffs. Sanders sounds like Sean Harris without the flair or personality.

I own this on cassette, there's no dates in the liner, but on the cassette itself it's copyrighted 1989
