Might be worth the time to pull the heads and make sure the valves are opening and closing and nothing stuck, also see what the cylinder walls look like.
I'd like to see more of this. One thought I have with the electrical system is- has it been converted to 12 volts? That may be why the headlights were changed out.
I've heard from a lot of old school techs that model of distributor is a pain in the ass! Apparently, later model 51AB flatheads have a different style of distributor that's more reliable and easier to work on. And I believe you can switch it out with the latter. 🤷♀️ Also don't bother trying to get those water pumps to spin just go ahead and replace them! Don't be surprised if the block isn't full of crusty rust cuz a previous owner might have just ran water when they were running it, and then it sat for 60 years, lol. Also, if I were you I would stick with those sealed beam headlights instead of going back to the original 37 style (if you ever want to drive at night)..........not a critique just a little advice 😉 @@rockysramblings
Greetings. The 37 Ford caught my eye and I want to follow your progress on the project. Whatever else you present I know I'll learn from. Were you looking for the 37 project or just find it serendipity? Good luck.
Oooo a flat head !!! Noyice !!! Those flatheads sound best with 2” pipe w/ 12” glasspacks !!! She’ll sound super tough !!! 💯
Basic car looks pretty good. Nice stance.
Beautiful automobile!

She’s still 6v
Pull the plugs and put seafoam or WD-40 in the holes, dump some down the carb as well, let it sit and work
She’s already turning over. Can’t get spark

6V I finally got it 👍🏻
How much did you pay for that?
Too much 😅
Such a beautiful gem that’s absolutely worth saving! Please don’t paint over that nice patina if possible!
