I think you don't need a complete "no phone allowed policy" at concerts. But a no video or photo policy, which involves putting a sticker on the cameras of phones at the entrance would be great.

Use of AI needs to be regulated cause it’s already here and not going anywhere so can’t ignore it but better regulation shall help I think..

Hard part is the evolution is so fast, that regulation takes longer to implement than innovation. It does need regulation, it's just hard to rely on governments to put regulations in place fast enough.

People who don't like AI art or music should simply be ignored.

Those people whining about AI are just pathetic.
    It sounds like pure copium...
Just deal with it that is AI going to do things such as art and music much better and faster than any human, theres no way around it and people will eventually use it on their creative endeavours, no matter what.

Yup, all these anti-AI people who want to stick their heads in the sand and pretend they live in the past are so sad. They are even trying to make little enclaves online to try and isolate themselves from the rest of the internet and AI (Cara) lol. These people are going to have a really hard time going forward unless they start adapting.
2d Artists have had like 2 years now with 2d AI images? They are just CHOOSING to become irrelevant and just complain about it. Instead of learning new tech and becoming a better artist.

faster, yes. better, debatable. theres some use cases for it probably but its still best used when a skilled artist that puts some intent and motivations behind their design choices puts their hands on it. also ppl like big artists and labels will just come across as cheap idiots that are centered more around fast profit than bringing you actual art by obviously using ai so to me thats the real pathetic part

@@superoiram I'm not sure you can have it both ways in your comment. I agree, if you're an artist, and you use AI, you should have an advantage, and make better things than the lay person trying it out. But at the same time, big artists and labels, they have artists that work with them, they should be using both, and then seeing which stylistically looks better. It sounds like that happened in this case, where they looked at a real artists work, and AI work, and then chose the AI work, and now Illenium is throwing his team under the bus for that decision for whatever reason they made it. So it's not just if you're big, don't use it, because it's cheap, you can't really say that, and then say skilled artists have design choices, because it's the same both ways.

@@djlick2 i mostly also mean most of the parts that they were criticised for in this scenario could also have been easily avoided if an artist would have done some touch ups and make fix those artifacts to give it all a look like it's intentional and more thought out while still being faster. That's the thing ai just doesn't do, and if they would have gone the touch up route , it wouldn't have any unintended artifacts and glitches thats giving away it's ai. It's imo mostly sad to see big names with all the teams and resources at their disposal, taking this route. Makes it seem cheap and like they don't care that much, whoever is behind it or not

The major issue that the human artist community has with AI is that it scrapes their IP without their consent and without offering the option to opt in. Most people don't have a problem with the technology itself.
All these AI tech bro companies think they can just rip everyones data with no consequence.
On another note AI tech will most likely start to cannibalize itself once the only data it has left to scrape is AI generated images and sounds resulting in homogenized algorithmic slop. I agree that AI is useful to have in the toolbox, but it is pretty limited when it comes to pushing out quality and will most likely plateau at mediocrity.
