    Curry patta- 8-9
    Fresh coconut- 20gm
    Whole chilies- 5-6
    Chana dal-1 tbsp
    urad dal -1 tbsp

    The last tip(sambar tastes better if used after one day f its preparation) given is a secret that runs among the village-folks and does not get publicised, especially in a formal presentation !! Your skills in going into the heart of the art really deserve very loud applauses. 😀

    You are a master cook who knows and relishes every ingredient and spices added in stages.I make my Sambhar but I dry roast sambhar masala to avoid multiple times oil needed and hing in all stages of sambhar cooking. I put bhindi and baingan after all cooking is over in the steaming hot dal along with the final tadka.This way the two veges don't sticky or loose shape.Keep the cooker lid on the aroma and flavor don't escape.Thank you for all your other recipes master chef

    Amazing recipe chef, I just love sambhar especially with dosa and Idli.
    Chef, can you please upload recipe of authentic South Indian idlis, that are fluffy and porous so that they absorb all the sambar. Whenever I make idlis they turn out dense and hard. Kindly share this recipe chef.

      Use Idli rice/salem rice and whole skinless udad.. grind in wet grinder. Add small amount of sabudana poha in rice and dal in the morning only.
