Prowl video day on my day off!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Edit: to get “cool” packs onto a console I usually download them on mobile, add it to a world, make the world a realm, then “download world packs” on my console when I go to the new realm world
Another tip for strip mining: Pick a side to always place your torches on going in, that way you can follow the opposite side out. I usually do the left side, so I can always find the right way out.
I love strip mining at the different levels to find ores. Caving isn't really attractive to me for some reason although I love the lush cave at your base - its beautiful!
I still kick it old school and make a copy of the Survival world, throw it on Creative, then branch mine looking for whatever I need. I make notes, then go back into the Survival to farm it all out. The Badlands info was really helpful, thank you.
Best ways to get each resource in my opinion Ancient debris: Beds in the nether at y 15 Coal: wither skeleton farm Diamonds: Just mine at Y -54 or below Copper: drowned farm Emerald: trading Gold: Gold/rotten flesh farm Lapis: cleric trading Quartz: bartering farm Redstone: any Witch farms including raid and hostile mob farms and cleric trading
Please enlighten me on how to use beds in the nether for Ancient debris . as i dont want to click wrong on the bed and die . still confused about that one . Still kinda new to the MC life
@@Sherry_Armstronghonestly I don't bother. Been stung too many times getting killed with beds in the nether. I made a ghast farm and we have a general mob farm so plenty of gunpowder and I just find TNT to be so much more predictable and comfortable for me to use. Insisting on beds is like... a min-max kind of thing. Sure it's probably the best on paper and in normal circumstances with someone who knows what they are doing, but I am not that someone 😂
@Sherry_Armstrong Dig a tunnel, place a bed, move as far back as you can while still being able to interact with the bed, place a block at your feet, then use the bed. You might want to move backwards in case any ceiling lava opened up, and it's always good to combine fire/blast protection armor when doing this. Good luck!
I prefer tunnel/branch mining & have a chart not unlike the one you showed with "most common" levels for each ore. Often come across caves while tunnel mining and am getting more comfortable exploring smaller ones as long as I have plenty of torches (fear of the dark is real) - otherwise I'll bridge through them. Also tend to mine out coal as you showed on the stony peaks out in the open. Nice video!
Caving to start and then once I get a solid Diamond pick going, I switch to a method I call tunneling. Starting down at -58 from a 1x2 branch that basically goes the length of an entire map, I’ll widen and heighten it using the bedrock “efficiency pick method”. So once the 1x2 is done, I’ll mine the block above my head all the way back. Then start mining a single layer until the hallway is as wide as I feel like it, one run at a time. Eventually I’ll end up with an egregiously massive tunnel but a mountains worth of deepslate, ores, and slime.
Even though I got some farms and trading halls, I got more enjoyment and satisfaction by mining, so thanks for the informative video! I tend to go caving just because i always forget the Y coordinates, so this will be very helpful.
Branch mining is nice for the safety, but I hate the monotony of it😂. So much more fun getting lost in the sprawling caves. Although I can do without the stressful mobs, so sometimes I switched to peaceful when I'm in the caves.
I definitely prefer caving early game because it's more fun, you end up with less non-ore blocks filling your inventory, and it's just good practice dealing with mobs. Mid to late game I sometimes switch to branch mining so I can get tons of stone and cobble for crafting redstone components or deepslate (and now tuff) for building. Not a fan of branch mining any more, although sometimes it's good in the Nether since netherrack isn't as useful as overworld blocks. It's also easier to find the exit in strip mines vs branch.
Caving has too many distractions and uses more torches than lighting up a branch mine. If my play session is ore hunting I branch mine. Working on the iron farm from a month ago right now, building from the ground up since I have a village established with traders that are getting the vending machine treatment.
The issue is, so are lava pools. Mine at -57, you're often gonna mine right into the side of large pools of lava, ending that branch. Mine at -54, you'll be able to put down water, and just keep going, because the lava is below your feet.

Lol, we'd get so confused in each others' worlds. I do the opposite, the right way into the caves, i suppose.
@@dudeguy8686 I guess that's why there's signs at the end of the day lol

same strip mining is relaxing and less dangerous

How do you create a copy of the survival world? Through its seed?
@@blackink4554 On the Switch, go to Settings, Copy World. Wait 2 hours, change the Copy to Creative then Dadcraft for Diamonds.
I'm glad you noted the Stone Shore. There can even be enough copper at the shore to highlight some small, early game builds

but it doesn't give the ores if you want those

But .... Nowadays I can't find diamonds on -54... It's became very deficult to get diamonds from mining
The chart and explaining for each level! Thank you, Prowl!

Nice video prowl…I prefer branch mining to caving. I agree it’s relaxing and it gives me resources I may use later to build.
Alright, a new Prowl ore guide! I would always use your last video whenever I forgot which Y level I wanted to mine at 😅

I love to branch mine in the early stages. Helps build your reserves quickly.
Nicely put together, and very informative. Great job
I have been waiting for this!
Not 100% sure if it's also true for bedrock, but doesn't dripstone caves give more copper?

And I would be low key pissy is someone was playing while I was talking lol
Box mining. 25X25. Perfect.

Cave mining very early game. Then branch mining once I get a diamond pick
Is the "Actions And Stuff" on the bedrock market place yet? I can't find it.
Green Acres is the place to be ;)
I really want the resource pack to give my world more life but can't find it on marketplace, where can I find it?
Branch mining is my go to but sometimes I get distracted with caving
I prefer mining. Favorites are branch and pinwheel mining.
Odd and curious that you left Bluejay ½ the coal but none of the iron from the nearby(his place) peaks.
For me, Farm branch, cave in that order.
is the Animation Pack alredy on market place?
if yes can somone tell the name?
and is teh new lookimg exp orb part of that pack?
Does anyone know how to get rid of the skin locked with the pack try tweaking the code but it didn't help.
Thanks for the tips..
Nice
Did you forget you can compress iron ore?
Branch mine. Guaranteed method and it’s safe.
Branch mining
Thought diamonds were at -57?
Same tbh, well -56 here

Gg
LMAO.. nothing new there, someone gets a little attention on their packs, few youtubers get it and show it off and they put it behind a paywall
