Shire of York Western Australia

Shire of York from Perth was a 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive, and the scenery is amazing with Fields of Golden Yellow Canola along the way (depending on the season). The town is a lovely place to walk around and explore to learn about local history and meet the lovely people who call York home. We Visited the Historic York Court House Complex, Town Hall, York Motor Museum, York Racecourse, Mount Brown Lookout, Avon Suspension Bridge, and a few other locations, and enjoyed everything, including the breathtaking views.
We left Perth in the morning and returned from York just before sundown. For anyone interested in a road trip from Perth, York is a gem of a location that is simply a place you must visit!
