I was just about to post the same! I've come to the conclusion they are projecting, they are all about being dramatic themselves that they can't take on anymore drama. And/Or they will not put in the hard work of a relationship.

@@TubeEamo i've heard enough people say they weren't the marrying kind who ended up married. i'm fine with people not marrying and living together as they choose. i don't live others' lives for them.
As a mature woman, but still beautiful and young, I will tell you girls. If you meet guys who make you feel you don't know where you stand or you don't know what they mean. Leave it! It's a waste of your time. In a normal relationship, people respect each other, care for each other, you are a princess to them. If they feel something, they will accept you unconditionally. You will feel it from the very beginning, that although you did nothing, you were just yourself, apparently these qualities suited them.
Haha! My 32 yo boyfriend hadn't brought up marriage after a year of monogamous dating. I met a guy in night class who had husband potential. I told my boyfriend that I needed to know if we were going to get married, that he should know if I'm the ONE by now. He puffed up, accusing me of giving him an "ultimatum or else". I laughed and said "No, but there's two of us in this relationship and if I'm not your wife no harm, no foul, I met someone else I'd like to date. I'm good with what we had but I'm moving on. It's not you, it's me." The shocked look on his face was priceless! He shouted "You will not use my line on me!" I said "it ain't your line." And I meant it! We were happily married for 32 yrs til he passed 5 yrs ago. He told me I gave him all paybacks from the women he strung along! I'm start looking for Love 2.0. I hope I get to use that line again! Ladies, know your worth! Great advice Ryan!

You've made quarantine so much easier to take.... you are HILARIOUS... and you've helped me sooo much with the new guy I just started seeing. Thank you!!!
This was great 😂 Even though men typically mean what they say more than we do, sometimes they don’t, which leaves us confused. Because if I believe you mean what you say I’ll operate based on that assumption and then when you don’t follow through, I’m confused and sometimes attach that to my self-worth. So it’s good to know that men don’t always give it to us straight either lol
We really want to deep down, but other "parts" of us fill our brains with little voices. It can be like an amusement park in our heads sometimes 🤷🏻♂️😂
Same for the women I think - the rollercoaster of emotions...”I just need to move on because he clearly doesn’t like me” and then he comes back with some effort and we start letting ourselves think about him again. It’s rough on both sides sometimes lol
This is such a mood booster video for those, who are single for the time being. I swear, if I was taken right now, I would probably scream from all of this ambiguity. My truth really is that: I would never get to any of this stuff with anyone in a meaningful way, because I've never had to wait until any of those examples to play out with me. It's just my way has always been different, and I always take the time to read a person's intentions for anything really. And, of course, it takes so much time, that they just bail on me altogether. I love how my patience is being exercised with guys. And it's partially because I am a little bit of a spinster. Although I'm 26 at the moment. Also, I'm a writer, so a little bit of a hermit and introvert by nature. I just really believe that men have a type. And sometimes it's not what one might think. Sometimes, a type is really just a girl, that is naturally kind and forgiving of human nature. And men are notorious for exercising their human nature to all possible extremes. And of course this includes lying and cheating and a bad temper on top of all. But the cues for all of it are always showing with me - horns first, so to say. And just like in the recent commercial for "Hypnose" mascara, I do the same as them like a mantra: "look up, your eyes hold your power" and I show my type to men. And then they see, that my type is stern and judgemental, and in no way am I even going to try and play the opposite card. Because men feel the nature of a woman. They will not try, where they can not get away it. Men really, mostly need that forgiving type of a woman as a base layer, and then some of her other convenient qualities on top of it as a man's personal preference type. And so, actually, a woman should be twice a type. A natural and an added flavor all in one. And so, that's why with me it's a different story. I know my nature, and it's different. And that's why I became an observer, a spinster, and a writer. I found my stance with men, and I'm not bitter about it. I just live my life knowing, that I might never be a choosing or chosen type with men successfully from a marriage kind of perspective, and that is powerful. That is something I am tackling in my writing as well. That's how I believe in a concept of destiny.
I am 27 and no bf since birth. I can relate and i learned so much from your post! Plus my dad still has another girl (who is also married btw) so yeah maybe trust issues also for me.
Patience and time is how you ultimately win the volume game of dating; love your outlook Siuzanna 😀 Destiny *always* finds its footing. Thanks for sharing this eloquent post!
I do this stuff too, this is a human mind, when you don't want to hurt someone with words you pick the best you can say in that moment, but acts can show you everything. Don't hear the words, see what he is doing.
What does he mean when he says he wants to take things slow and start as friends? He also told me that he really likes me and the book is definitely still open for us. (We dated briefly in high school over 15 years ago. I haven’t seen him since.)
So basically men and women are similar, with only a few differences (perhaps women explain more and also when we say "You always do that" we're talking about a mistake that the guy frequently does). I had fun with your realistic impressions, and yeah I believe most people have either said or heard stuff like that in their relationships. Nice video!
It's really true in the early days when guys are just getting to know you. Once we let are guard down a bit, the disparity between the words and meaning becomes less and less 😊
Look I won’t date dudes who don’t say what they mean. Say what you mean, mean what you say, but don’t say it mean. I hate when guys don’t express what’s really going on and what they’re really up to. It’s a MAJOR pet peeve
But sometimes they can't, Hannah. Sometimes he's trying to figure out how he's feeling on-the-fly with you. He has to do this in the beginning, because he's trying to play it cool, that's all.
Love love love looooove it!!! The 1st one OMG now I feel bad I got the "maybe we should hang out" before & seriously thought he wanted to just hang out so I said "sure my friends & I are gonna get coffee later, feel free to join us" ... #REGRET
Lol I actually like how you played that. You may see him be a bit more precise with his wording if he likes you and would like to see you 1-on-1 next time (after the quarantine lifts, of course) 😉
OMG... one of my favorite videos of yours!!! So much fun to watch and so informative. I’ve heard most of these things and in hindsight and reading between the lines, this is spot on. Thanks again, Ryan! 💕

Still stumped by that one...lots of words not lining up with actions on this one so I guess old habits just don't die...ever. 🙄🤦♀️
Omg RYAN! Thank you for validating my gut instinct! Divorced from a Drama queen narcissist husband! I see men online say “i am allergic to drama” then laugh 😂 emoji. I ALWAYS SWIPE LEFT as I figure it’s them if they must put that up BEFORE they say hello
Literally quoting “I think it’s best for both of us to be friends but if you want, we can be close friends because I think you’re funny & cool” .... lmao
If a guy says this, I'd ask him "What do you mean by that exactly?" Sometimes the way he clarifies will tell you all you need to know about whether to pursue a relationship with him or not. He had the first canned answer ready, but he won't be ready for the qualifying statement that follows, so make sure you *playfully* press him at these moments when he opens himself up like this 😉
If someone tells us that love us but they are not affectionate to us or have any actions to back up their words then it's not really love, just a lie to manipulate you.
Just started following you Ryan.. I've got a renewed hope in finding my guy thanks to your advices. 🤣 You should do more of these comedic type post.. you hit the nail on the head 🔨 Thanks again💫
Excellent! This was the best video ever! My most favorite one of yours! I do get "gurl, you're crazy" a lot. So, that's a *good* thing? However, there's a man who keeps telling me "I'm fine, I've just been super busy". Normally I'd walk away from this, but he *is* a single dad w full time custody of four daughters all under the age of ten and is working from home during this Covid thing. Is this a line? Or should I just give him a break since the world had gone insane? When he tells me he's busy, I leave him alone.
Thanks so much Victoria! 🙂 Single dad saying this? Yes, I'd cut him some slack right now. You'll learn A LOT more once the quarantine lifts if he's just dishing you lines, but things are definitely tough right now 👍🏽
You should run and fast. Do you really want to be his fourth or fifth priority? Rest stepmother 2 for teenage girls? Work so your salary can go to support his kids and put them through college and pay for their weddings? Run, run, run
Shame, I actually feel bad for guys😂. Us girls all have such high expectations for them when all they're tryna do is get through life without being broken down the whole time🤣
Aside from Dr. Nerdlove (dating esp. for clueless guys), now it's the always articulate, animated (& excellent actor!) for us girls... *searching for a little Oscar emoji* XX
Hey brother, you Are Best. You really are! Not only for the wisdom, but your ironic sense of humor always makes me laugh. As a matter of fact, I don't know if I come here for the wisdom and precious advices or for the laughs!😂 thanks a lot!
Loved this !!!The I need space. Yes most guys will say that because they have a chick lined up, but lets not forget the other reasons. Another reasons could be that she is getting so clingy and she is smothering him. Also his buddies could be riding him about how he doesn't hang out with them. But 9/10 times its because he wants to see how things work out with the new chick he is chasing without being a cheater.
the way “I don’t wanna hurt you” will always lead to them hurting you lol. And every time I expressed when my feelings were hurt to my ex he would say, “you acting up again” or “don’t start acting up” or “you’re making me feel like a bad person” lmaoo
Great video Ryan!! Such a gem!! can i please ask you a question. My guy said he loves me but he told me he is not in love with me yet, of course it has been only 1 month. I thought first you suppose be in love then you love someone, right? Or am i mistaking? Can you please give me some feedback on that, i would really appreciate that!! You've made quarantine so much easier to take.... you are HILARIOUS... and you've helped me sooo much with the new guy I just started seeing. Thank you!!!
Happy to help! 😉
I loved, loved, loved the style of this video!!!
" Either hurt you or I'm about to hurt you' love it!
Men decoded.
You mixing humour in your coaching makes the difference among others. I so like it. Thanks Ryan!
Daterboy: one of your funniest videos so far this is way too funny for anyone's own good!!!
Would love to see you find an awesome guy you can call your bf super soon Irma. Lemme know how I can help you get even one step closer 🙂
I need to watch this on repeat.
Thanks Vicki! Was trying something a little different with the editing on this one. Glad it plays well 🙂
I do this stuff too, this is a human mind, when you don't want to hurt someone with words you pick the best you can say in that moment, but acts can show you everything. Don't hear the words, see what he is doing.
You made me laugh out loud early in the morning:) you’re awesome Ryan !! 💕
Whoo hoo! Who couldn't use a good, hearty laugh on a Monday? 🤷🏻♂️
Everything in this video is so true. It's a huuuge wake-up call. It definitely deserves more views.
My ex said that he loved drama. Oh we had so much drama from his side.
wow I speak manspeak, all those years of only having male friends have paid off lmao
Because of you i got my first boyfriend thank you ❤
WHOO HOO!! Score!! ✨🔥🙌🏽✅💯
This is sooo hilarious! that inner voice's facial expressions tho lmao they are the best!
I love your humourous approach, I always have to sit down and watch your videos because your mannerisms really enhance the videos 😂😭🤣
Thanks, Casy! Good to see you in the thread as always! 🙂
What does he mean when he says he wants to take things slow and start as friends? He also told me that he really likes me and the book is definitely still open for us. (We dated briefly in high school over 15 years ago. I haven’t seen him since.)
Its mean he didnt care that much
Honestly, I don't understand men...Don't think I ever will lol
A mans, “it’s all good” is the equivalent to when woman says, “fine.” Which we all know, it so isn’t FINE.
total equivalent
So basically men and women are similar, with only a few differences (perhaps women explain more and also when we say "You always do that" we're talking about a mistake that the guy frequently does). I had fun with your realistic impressions, and yeah I believe most people have either said or heard stuff like that in their relationships. Nice video!
Wow. I never knew that there was a difference between what guys say and what they really mean honestly. Great video. 👍👍👍
It's really true in the early days when guys are just getting to know you. Once we let are guard down a bit, the disparity between the words and meaning becomes less and less 😊
@@datingcoachryanpatrick I had no idea.
@@datingcoachryanpatrick I hope that my UA-cam channel becomes successful one day. My channel is not about relationship advice.
The video women didn't realize we needed! Good job, Ryan! 👍🏾
Ryan Patrick I feel like if they don’t know they should say they don’t know???? I’m trying to understand why this would be challenging???
Ryan Patrick but how long does it take for them to figure out how they are feeling or feel you out
Every bit of this is so true! I appreciate the humor that you use to inform us!
@@datingcoachryanpatrick Thank you so much!!!
OMG... one of my favorite videos of yours!!! So much fun to watch and so informative. I’ve heard most of these things and in hindsight and reading between the lines, this is spot on. Thanks again, Ryan! 💕
Thanks Jeannine, mine too! I appreciate you watching, as always 🙂
Men r sooooo dramatic, tbh.
Indeed we can be 💯
my boyfriend cries more than i do but it’s funny 😆
@@danicemarielobrin I mean.. I am sad, my gf does make me happy, I try to treat her the best I can putting her before myself, not to mention I told her it was too soon for the last thing
I sometimes use those phrases on men and mean what you are explaining 😅
You’r the best, love your videos!
"I love you, but I'm not in love with you"....as he's breaking up with me. Does that just mean "I want to save face and not look like the jerk that I'm actually being right now"?? Still stumped by that one...lots of words not lining up with actions on this one so I guess old habits just don't die...ever. 🙄🤦♀️
Means they are sleeping with someone else my husband said this while having a double life
Omg RYAN! Thank you for validating my gut instinct! Divorced from a Drama queen narcissist husband! I see men online say “i am allergic to drama” then laugh 😂 emoji. I ALWAYS SWIPE LEFT as I figure it’s them if they must put that up BEFORE they say hello
I love that you did this video because while sometimes guys do mean what they say, I think sometimes it really goes down like this. 😆
I’ve gotten “I ❤️ you” via text but he still “isn’t ready” for a title even though he says we are exclusive. I’m in a whole mess here aren’t I? Lol
Game like I've seen before--get out fast- any man that wants you, wants a title!
I have heard all of these. Real life man
Real life indeed ✊🏼
Re watching all your videos because I need all the help I can get right now!!!
😮😮 mine were " i don't want to hurt you " and " i don't want a relationship" OMG!!
He had the first canned answer ready, but he won't be ready for the qualifying statement that follows, so make sure you *playfully* press him at these moments when he opens himself up like this 😉
I'd think it's pretty safe to assume he wants to keep you as an option for booty calls.
Very funny yet very honest. Love it! Great video Ryan😂
Thanks, Nic! Hope you're doing well! 😉
HYSTERICAL, Ryan! Loved every minute!
If someone tells us that love us but they are not affectionate to us or have any actions to back up their words then it's not really love, just a lie to manipulate you.
I LOVE this!!! You should do more!! This has helped me tremendously. Lol
Hahaha. Enjoyed this video a lot. Substance wise plus your animated interpretation. So funny! 😊
Glad you enjoyed it, Miya! 😉
Just started following you Ryan.. I've got a renewed hope in finding my guy thanks to your advices.
🤣 You should do more of these comedic type post.. you hit the nail on the head 🔨
Thanks again💫
This video is so good!! ❤
These are always helpful. Thank you.❤
3:38 "is there an exit around here somewhere?" 😂
Idk but I think
I am in love with your facial expressions though 😂 It cracks me up 😂
Hi Ryan New to your channel these tips will help me a lot for my next relationship!
You'll learn A LOT more once the quarantine lifts if he's just dishing you lines, but things are definitely tough right now 👍🏽
@@datingcoachryanpatrick Thank you!
You should run and fast. Do you really want to be his fourth or fifth priority? Rest stepmother 2 for teenage girls? Work so your salary can go to support his kids and put them through college and pay for their weddings? Run, run, run
Shame, I actually feel bad for guys😂. Us girls all have such high expectations for them when all they're tryna do is get through life without being broken down the whole time🤣
Oof
Really great video, Ryan! Hooray! Haha, you're entertaining and I love these kinds of videos (PS. make a part II🥺🥺🥺)
Aside from Dr. Nerdlove (dating esp. for clueless guys), now it's the always articulate, animated (& excellent actor!) for us girls... *searching for a little Oscar emoji* XX
I’m happily married. I like your videos, its very informational, and very entertaining🤣🤣
Hey brother, you Are Best. You really are! Not only for the wisdom, but your ironic sense of humor always makes me laugh.
As a matter of fact, I don't know if I come here for the wisdom and precious advices or for the laughs!😂 thanks a lot!
I appreciate that, Sonia! Thank you! 😄
Why say I need space when you can be honest and upfront
yeah, "I don't want to date/be with you anymore" is better...just rip the bandaid off. I'm agreeing, not being sarcastic.
Hi Ryan, This is perfect! I love your Advice, Personality, Humor & Videos ❤ Blessings & lots of love to ALL,
Piper
The best comedy during last several months😁. So necessary to know. Thanks!
Love love love your videos they you always put me on a high!
You are hilarious and I love your videos! Very informative.
Brilliant performance and content, great job.
You are wonderful! I look forward to seeing you quite soon!
Thank you, Sophia! 🙂
Loved the layout of this Video😂
Oh my goodness this had me crying with laughter 🤣 absolutely brilliant!
Thank you so so much, Happy Monday!
Red flag city, XW! Does he love you or not? 🤷🏻♂️Avoid that wishy-washy nonsense 🤦🏻♂️
@@datingcoachryanpatrick You are right! This is a red flag! Thank you for your reply. Well, it's better to ditch him now
I just absolutely love this one!! 😂 The accuracy though 😂💯
Got one for you every guy when they ask what I do for a living, and that's in first 5secs, says "gee hope that pays enough for you"!?!?
