When I was younger, I didn't have any of the FANCY tv channels like Nickelodeon or Disney... so cut to decades later, I have always been in the dark with the origins of pop princesses (like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez) and the countless memes from shows like "That's So Raven" or "Lizzie McGuire". SO TODAY, I decided to go through some of the most iconic 2000's Disney Channel shows y'all grew up with and react to your childhood favorites! I LOVE that show, I'm rewatching all the episodes on Disney+
I loved how it dealt with trying to figure out feelings too as a sister, a daughter, a friend's, a teen, etc. It really explored how confusing your feelings are in high school.
i absolutely love when kid shows talk about things like that! i was really surprised when in hannah montana they were talking about diabetes, it was a really good episode.

Her and Hilary Duff were in Cadet Kelly together a Disney channel original movie. Oooh all the crossovers lol

Damn, the nostalgia’s hitting hard after watching this. I remember coming home everyday from school and watching some of these shows while eating ice cream and cookies. Great times.🥺 (and btw, another show that I madly loved was the FairlyOddParents).

I loved That's So Raven. She had great comedic timing and was down doing physical comedy. That and the show usually covered a lot of sensitive topics. Also can't forget Anneliese Van Der Pol as Chelsea famous line: "DO YOU CARRY A LUNCH BOX?"

In Aus in the 2000s we had this show called Saturday Disney that would cherry pick just a couple of the Disney channel shows that those of us without Foxtel could watch on public tv. I never realised how fortunate that was til now.
I loved 2000s Disney Channel shows. Especially The Emperor's New School, Cory in the House, and Lilo & Stitch the Series. Cory in the House is the best anime

I loved Lilo and Stitch the Series! I think that out of all of the animated Disney movies that got a tv show that one had the best premise to actually justify being a tv show.

I must confess... I've gone back to watch WOWP about 5 times during quarantine. It was always my favorite.
Early 2000 disney had great shows, That's so raven is my number one favorite show. All of Raven's outfits were sharp!! Even stevens is my second. Louis was hilarious.
I was probably much older than the typical target audience for Hannah Montana was but you bet, I watched all 7 seasons on Netflix on repeat, until the day they left. 💜💛💜
Also The Wizards of Waverly Place was a great show too. (But not as good 🤣)

Kind of blows my mind that Disney wasn't on Free To Air TV in America but in Australia we had a weekly kid's program literally called Saturday Disney that aired just Disney shows, and it will always be the highlight of my childhood.
This is quite possibly the greatest thing I’ve seen during COVID. The fact the Tyler has no idea about the drama surrounding Miley/Nick/Demi is everything.

All of the major name stars we hear about now got their start in the 2000s Disney channel, even if we don't really hear about Hillary Duff and Rickey Unman anymore. So much nostalgia was running through me right here, especially with Kim Possible and That's So Raven.

The beginning of this video really spoke to me 😂😂😂😂 THAT WAS ME!
My parents didn't get cable until months before my college orientation, but I remember when some of these shows would get promoted through TGIF and "One Saturday Morning". Much of my cable exposure was through when my family would be renting a cottage at Cape Cod (the Cape's analog reception was so poor that most houses invested in cable) or when I was over my grandmother's house. I also watched a lot of cable when in college.
I was also a HUGE fan of Disney Adventures magazine. Personally, I loved Lizzie McGuire, Even Stevens, Kim Possible, Lilo & Stitch, and That's So Raven. I never saw Hannah Montana, but I'm a huge fan of Young & Hungry (an Ashley Tisdale-produced Emily Osment-starring sort of... millennial Laverne and Shirley with a Lenny & Squiggy duo that's a little more egotistical and less inept). Post-2000's, "Girl Meets World" was a MASSIVE improvement.
Through Disney+, I've started getting into "So Weird", but I'm also waiting for Pepper Ann to get released on the platform.

Phil of the Future was my fav, exactly Tyler Phil/Ricky was my crush! Disney OGs were amazing. They are all awesome. I was 7 in 2000 so many classics to grow up to.
I'm in the same boat as far as I didn't grow up with Disney channel. My parents would not buy cable so I just had PBS. However, ABC showed some Disney shows on Saturday mornings so I did watch some episodes of That's So Raven, Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zach and Cody because those are the ones they showed a handful of episodes from. I still haven't fully watched any of these shows though and maybe I should

When I was recovering from my gallbladder surgery, Disney + just came out. I rewatched every episode of Hannah Montana and I gotta say, I don't regret it. It was a bit cringy at times, being a show for younger children from the weirdest years of the 2000s, but it was entertaining nonetheless lol
