Mario and Yoshi were as close as close could get. Yoshi found him abandoned on an island and raised him as his own. Mario thought everything of this dinosaur. A friend, a parent, and someone there for him no matter what. One day, his dear brother Luigi asked to borrow Yoshi. Mario wasn't entirely on board with the idea, but Yoshi insisted so Mario let it go. He saw Yoshi and Luigi ride away. As they came back, Mario saw Luigi and Yoshi do what he knew was an impossible jump and Luigi flung off Yoshi. He watched in horror as Yoshi plummeted to the ground. Luigi was in tears, "I... I thought we could make-a the jump! He threw me off his back." Mario felt hurt, but believed his brother initially. This was Yoshi sacrificing himself to save Luigi. But he couldn't let Yoshi go. He felt there had to be a way to get Yoshi back. Soon, he heard word of a forbidden power in Dinosaur land. Powerup Incrementation. Known for being risky. But he felt this was just a way to bring back Yoshi. He toyed around with this evil magic and soon found a state where he could control life and death itself. Powerup State 68. With this power, he was able to bring back his beloved Yoshi. Though Yoshi came back wrong and Mario's paranoia that Luigi deliberately killed Yoshi. With his newfound power and insanity, he went back to his mushroom home and strangled Luigi to death. Soon, all the toads, koopas, goombas, and others looked away and ignored Mario as he walked by. Mario was no longer Mario, he was PS68.
