My favorite part of V3 is that this song is so drastically different than the V3 version that I don't have to pick a favorite between the two because they're basically different songs.
Thats so real lol. Like honestly I love the end part of this one slightly better because the key change is super dramatic, but the new one is like a completely different type of dramatic if that makes sense.
I love just how fitting the darker “LORE” motif is for Shadow Freddy here. He’s one of the most mysterious figures in FNAF lore with no real solid identity.
@@funny250wall The glow-up was too big that V2 and V3 became whole different songs. I feel like V3 is great, and V2 is also great in its way. V3 leans to being more ominous than V2, which is how the V2 should be, since it should fit Shadow Freddy. But at the same time, V2 packs more rhythm and flow than V3, not to say that mixing in some parts of V3 makes the song kind of hard to hear.
@@zdark6382 That’s kind of why I also prefer the visuals in V2 as well. V3 tries way to hard to be “scary” with shadow Freddy’s poses looking more like a edgy demon than a twisting of his actual sprite like the original had. Shadow Freddy is ominous, unnerving, but not overly scary or demonic. That’s the feeling that V2 captures so well in its visuals and music
@@funny250wall V.3 Sprites are based on V.2 though, just not in 8-Bit style. But aside that, I think the new artstlye that's not 8-Bit makes it looks overly edgy as hell, and I think I agree with you on that part. In the same time, I honestly think that some of the sprites look cool and unnerving, like the hallway part. The eye shifting animation went way too crazy.
I originally watched gameplay of the mod without headphones, and I originally thought that this song could've been great, but it was lacking something. Now that I've listened to it with headphones (and after I had forgotten how the song went), I can now say that what was lacking were my headphones. Easily one of the best songs of the mod, incredible job
The fact you didn't listen with headphones means you basically wasted 2 minutes of your life NOT listening to this BANGER! An absolute travesty I tell you!
In my opinion, as someone that suffered dealing with the last transition, fuck the purple bear, he even broke my save file so I can't access Miller, even after beating all the songs! Song's still good tho. Edit: I take back what I said, turns out i needed to beat all the songs again, thank you purple bear for not breaking my file.
Everything from 2:17 onwards is FIRE The slow buildup with a pretty catchy melody, then the first drop with the leitmotif in Lore, which this song uses very well, and then the CRAZY drop at 3:05

For me, I imagine like a chase sequence in this song. It would start out at a walking pace, to show that the enemy has got one final trick up their sleeve, then the main character (mc as I'll use) taunts them a bit with they're singing. Then after the beat drop, that's when it kicks off into a running sequence, and in the final part, that's where the speed increases and the mc becomes more panicked
You were followed 00:00 He is clearly a threat, he approaches you with progressing speed, slowly but surely (Scroll speed start getting faster), you get away from him 00:19 Suddenly he runs at you at full speed (A spike in scroll speed), you're being chased 00:38 You're hiding from him, you don't know what he's doing (Scroll speed reverts back to normal) 01:19 He caused a ventilation error, you're losing oxygen (Health drain begins, HUD and screen becomes blurry at random) 1:38 You fixed the ventilation error (Health drain ends, screen reverts back to normal), he found you out, you're being backed into a corner 2:16 You hit him with a random blunt object and escape from that corner, he begins running at you at ludicrous speed (Huge spike in scroll speed), he is out for blood 2:45 You see the exit but you trip, he is close to getting you (Misses now cause twice the damage, scroll speed stays as fast as it is), your vision blurs (Constant mild screen shake, mild blurry hud and screen at random), you are terrified 3:06 By impossible odds, you escaped, you don't know if that was the last of him 3:25
Quickly becoming my favourite song of the mod. And that's saying something with how many bangers are in it. Good shit. Hope you still do a few one off songs like Below The Depths, because you're my favourite FNF composer hands down.
when i played the mod, i thought the song sucked because the background provided too much stimulation. but now that i listen to it without the excess stimuli i can actually hear the song and its pretty good!
coming back to this, dude v3 was SUCH A FUCKING GLOW UP this version is a still fucking banger don't get me wrong, but the new version does so much more and actually nails bf's vocals so well, like it genuinely sounds like bf's TERRIFIED in v3
So, the first playthrough I saw of this song was UniqueGeese's, where for some reason the trippy background effects were turned off. So when I watched another one, I was so taken aback when I saw them for the first time. :D
So I love the new one. But honestly, I wish they had kept the part at 2:17. I get that it may have been considered repetitive, but honestly I see it as a great tension-builder. I feel like if it had been included somewhere near the end of the new remix, it would have created this moment of suspense before the final stretch. Dunno, just my opinion.
@@battery_acidd It's close. It's the same melody but it doesn't do the same "up down" thing this version does. Don't get me wrong, I really like the new version, I just feel like this version has its upsides too.
