Rest in peace, Taylor Hawkins! This is my sister's favorite album. She was 12 when this came out and had Feathers intro as her ringtone on her Sony Ericsson.
This vid made me realize they're all way sicker musicians than I thought, and I liked them before. Everything that goes into the production is so huge. You don't hear it all in the final master, but when they break down the parts, it's all very complex. And Mic is a freakin' beast on the bass.
@@resoundingsource6595 Don't get me wrong... Pennie's an amazing drummer (as is Hawkins), but Eppard IS Coheed. I've been wishing for this impossibility since Josh came back to the Fence.
i realise this is an old video...for what it's worth... one thing about Coheed And Cambria that I've loved is that I never enjoyed their music simply because it was them. In all honesty almost all of their albums started off....not bad but grew into really loving them. That being said, Year of the Black Rainbow was the one album that i just loved every second of from the first time i heard it.
Damn this got me emotional. This album is my favorite from Coheed as it came out in a weird time in my life growing up at the start of high school. I've always loved the Foo Fighters and I was ecstatic when I learned that Taylor recorded the drums for the album. RIP to a legend for sure. I know that we all live and die as it's a part of life, but it sucks seeing you idols pass away, or even getting older for that matter.
Taylor does an amazing job and i love him so much. I also recognize Josh AS the sound of C&C and live now that hes back he killls these parts and ads his own thing. I feel like Taylor was trying to put himself in Josh's shoes and do what he thought Josh would have done. Its a tough thing to do and Taylor killed it. RIP TAYLOR
I've loved coheed since second stage came out and I never knew that Taylor Hawkins played drums on this album. I know it's one of the least appreciated coheed albums but I've always loved it and this makes it better.
Taylor Hawkins + mic Todd = timeless. And it sucks cause as a recovering heroin addict, it would have been quite a wild meet up if they in fact were using anything at the same time here, filling in for Josh also who was afflicted with opioids at the time…it’s heavy and endears me much more to this band than anything else would by itself . Thanks very much for the video
Miss Taylor Hawkins so much,. Simultaneously also glad Josh is back in his original position in the band. Love you guys! Wish I could have fucking afforded the tickets to the obligatory 2 day festival was the only place you were playing and even that was 120 miles from me 5 months ago. So guess what. I went and saw static-x for fun for my first metal show , got tickets with tax and parking for $49!! Fuck yeah
That funny cause it work never seen this video but im hearing on my 🎧 while working it played by it self and started getting distracted and I wanted to see it later at home and when I pull phone out to turn off look at it and he says what this Aint your BUSINESS 😅😅😅 WOW A TRIP
He's done a podcast lately. Sounds very unlikely for a return. He's had no contact with Claudio outside of running into him at a concert. I'd love to see him guest appear for a SSTB anniversary show.
Knowing all that's been going on with Mic, and watching this now.. When it gets to the "Don't cry boy..." parts of Mother Superior, the way it seemed to focus on Mic almost... made me cry. Get better mic :[ We all love you.
Dont get me wrong I love Coheed and Cambria so much that I named my son Coheedan, but I chuckled a little bit when they showed Mike walking in front of a Rite Aid....
RIP Taylor Hawkins I wasn't the biggest Foo Fighters fan but I am a huge Coheed fan and remember this, super talented guy
Same here. I remember watching these DVD's back in the day.
Rest in peace, Taylor Hawkins! This is my sister's favorite album. She was 12 when this came out and had Feathers intro as her ringtone on her Sony Ericsson.
Blown away rn. Had no idea until drumeo/coheed drummer mentioned Taylor H. Trippin on all this . Awesome.
I feel like Travis doesn't get enough love...
Love Travis!
Oh he does
Rest in Peace, Taylor Hawkins. Thank you so much for believing and helping Coheed and Cambria.

WAS A BEAST.
Lmao the shot of Mic with the Rite Aid sign in the background
💀💀💀
Unlike many bands out there, Claudio's voice sounds just like the record when he sings live. :D
It's cool seeing a band grow as you grow. Super stoked for Vaxis II AWOTWM
I think Coheed sounds better with Josh. They sound a lot more comfortable. Josh has such a cool groove-oriented style
100% -id love to hear a version of this LP with Josh overdubs. Always felt it was super lacking due to his absence

@@resoundingsource6595 If we could get a good enough amount of fans (which I know exist) we could tickle his ear maybe enough to do it!
I love how Travis stands up when he records.
Practice how you play live..
.. record how you play live

Finally someone else that loves YOTBR
This is my favorite album from coheed and I just found out Taylor played on this. Makes his death that much harder. Rest in power sir. We all love you
Mic is such an interesting bass player
The bass line for the End Complete is sexy.
sounds kinda like Ten Speed in some parts
Came here for Taylor! Loved his drumming on this album ❤️

I love that Taylor motherf****in' Hawkins is working with this band!!!!!! FOO FIGHTERS!!!!!
True fan I see
Oh my god... coheed and Taylor hawkings. Only way to make coheed more badass
Claudio has perfected singing with himself.
Oh man they are using the same producer Rush used on their last two albums. Bad ass!
Thats bad add COHEED reminds me of a modern RUSH IF IT MAKES ANY SENSE
No World For Tomorrow is so good. It's a close second for my favorite Coheed, only behind In Keeping Secrets
i hope i get to see them in a/c at the house of blues....my girlfriend would love it.....one of the best bands out today.....thanks for your music...
I love you Coheed

i love your songs coheed and cambria dont ever stop making music
dont leave this new generation with nicki minaj or ariane grande
I love seeing behind the scenes footage of music. My band will be doing the same thing with every album, video, and tour. Do more!
Sempre vou curtir!!
São gênios!
Você sente na música o que a letra fala.
Mesmo sem saber inglês 🤔🤔🤔
Como é bom encontrar outres brasileires que curtem Coheed. Às vezes me sinto um E.T. por aqui 🤣
Thank You Claudio Sánchez # 3

claudio if you ever thought for a second that the hound of blood and rank wasn't gonna be there you crazy.
Too bad coheed and rush never toured together.

Miss Taylor Hawkins so much,. Simultaneously also glad Josh is back in his original position in the band.

I had no idea taylor did the drums for this album but it makes so much more sense now. This just makes that album more special.
Same, just learned today
GOD I MISS MIC.
The End Complete sounds like Dream Theater, love Coheed!
I LOVE COHEED 🤟
11:27 "is this any, of your business???" hahaha

In retrospect, everyone smoked back then. I don't think it was until around 2012 when we stopped. So crazy to think about...
Mic needs to come back now....such a masterful bass player.
He's done a podcast lately. Sounds very unlikely for a return. He's had no contact with Claudio outside of running into him at a concert. I'd love to see him guest appear for a SSTB anniversary show.
Never happening
Hes sketching gunslinger, badass.
Knowing all that's been going on with Mic, and watching this now..

We all love you.

Hello from 2020. Who’s going to Neverender NWFT
I hope this virus dont mess it up for us
if the pandemic slows, yes indeed!
Unfortunately no one...
RIP TH.
I love u
5:20-5:35 lol. I needed that
I think Claudio really looks like Colin Farrell. You can really see it when he doesn’t have facial hair. I think of it every time I see a vid of him.
Didn’t know Claudio was a smoker. And wait...Chris Pennie was just there in studio and not playing on the record?
Pretty confident Chris wrote the parts, but he got fucked by the record label dillenger was on at the time, so they had Taylor play the record
He wasn't allowed to, contractually.
Who's watching this pumped.for the no world.neverender!
Let your rabbit go run
donne moi un de tes titre en francais !!! jadore
When you’re sick to the stomach, just pull out the knife…
Transformers missed out HARD on "running free"
RIP Taylor. So sad
Such a cool fucking video.
the bass player is like a mix between rick moranis and Brett Micheals
12:12
I take it we all came here today for Taylor? RIP ❤️
Dont get me wrong I love Coheed and Cambria so much that I named my son Coheedan, but I chuckled a little bit when they showed Mike walking in front of a Rite Aid....
RIP Taylor Hawkins
they're human, guys, humans go to rite aid and star bucks
Don't let Mic near Rite Aid...
Damn Travis looks awesome with long hair.
Disclaimer: not to say he doesn’t look cool with short hair too.
No I am
