The conversions are due to people praying the Rosary and receiving the sacraments. That could happen anywhere without an apparition. The real danger is if and when, one of the seers confesses it was a hoax, the faith of millions who flocked to Medjugorje will be rocked and many will fall away from the truth after it sinks in that they were duped.
Yes that could happen, but you don’t get sacraments like that everywhere do you ? Every single evening they have confession and mass without exception. Medjugorje evening programme is beautiful

But the success of Medjugorje is directly due to the ongoing alleged daily apparitions on demand (now going on 50,000+ apparitions) that keep the crowds coming, crowds that have built an economy for an entire country that depends on them. Had the alleged apparitions ceased 40 years ago, Medjugorje would be no different than Garabandal, a small village where the Church has neither approved or outright condemned the apparitions. But the fact that the Church says there is nothing supernatural going on at Medjugorje today is an indirect way of saying these seers are faking the daily visions. Yet the fruits of praying the Rosary and going to confession and the conversions at Medjugorje are undeniable, therefore the Church allows for pastoring the vast pilgrim crowds gathered there, just as it would at a Eucharistic congress or a World Youth Day, where there are thousands of Catholics gathered in prayer. If this is were to be revealed as a hoax (i.e. one of seers with the secrets dies without revealing them) there will be a falling away from the faith and a growing cynicism against the Church, not to mention a great loss in revenue for hotels and restaurants, and the end of livelihoods of the rest of the seers.

Then the children claimed she was going to do something not seen since the beginning of the world. That's a big bold claim which would needs to be backed up by big bold supernatural confirmation. Not there. What about the reporter who poked at the visionary and then the excuse that was given of why she flinched back? As for the conversions and fruits people talk about this would be due to the prayer, good will of those who go and the grace of God, not necessarily because the apparitions are legitimately of God or the Virgin Mary. Also going there contrary to what the local Bishops may have said is disobedience and such also takes one away from legitimate approved sites where we know she has appeared and also the grace that lies there in. Also it was claimed the Virgin appeared to Ivan on his wedding day. I guess anything is possible but also appearing 50,000 times or more over the years? I’m a bit cautious about Our Lady of Good Success. I think the devotion is legit but the prophecies and apparitions were written much later by a secondary source. The whole ‘we discovered this hidden in the archives’ thing I take lightly.

Our Lady has appeared there. It’s just the daily messages etc which have put doubt into the validity of the apparitions. My friend from Australia arrived in Medjugore at dusk. It was getting dark and they couldn’t see very well As they were walking near the apparition hill the Cross on the hill lit up and they could see where they were going. It wasn’t till the next day that they found out there was no source of power on the hill or on the cross . Explain that folks 😄

I studied theology at the Angelicum, in Rome and I must say that I'm shocked to hear him say that "constat de non supernaturalitate" means that the church is not sure about the apparitions, but have not rejected it. In reality "constat de non supernaturalitate" means that the alleged apparition is confirmed not to be of supernatural origin because as a matter of fact that's what this phrase means in Latin: There's agreement (constat) of not being supernatural (de non supernaturalitate).
Fr Leon says (47:17) "If it is fake what are they being deceived into, praying the rosary, going to mass, etc..." Well those are good things, but it would also be giving the authority of God to speak on matters of the Church and the world to human beings at best and to evil at worst. That is, if it is fake.
I think that is a really good response, but that leads me to a dilemma, because we keep experiencing leaders in the church who produce good fruit for decades only to be revealed in the end to, also, be producing bad fruit. Can’t ignore over 50 million people going and all the miracles and cures that have taken place and especially conversions. Faith is all about believing in something you cannot see or touch, but knowing your heart is true and that you can feel. I personally don’t believe in this Marian apparitions. Her messages there add nothing to what Our Blessed Mother has already said in the many other church approved apparitions like Fatima. And although this priest Leo is a very good speaker and story teller I think he comes off slightly disingenuous espically in her personal testimony videos I’ve watched. Also he seems to benefit from this being true so he will continue to sell it. Ave Marie and I love our Blessed Mother so much but this does not seem like my Blessed Mother. I’ll stick with the church approved appartions. Look up who the spiritual advisor was for the “seers” he’s now excommunicated from the church. That and the fact the church bishops have all said this is likely not true all tells me that this isn’t true.
Lucia (from Fatima) had a handful of apparitions over the many years, while Medjugorje’s 50,000+ on demand apparitions is an obvious red flag; but try telling that to those who seek signs and wonders. Lots of other red flags with Medjugorje, such as when Vicka flinched when a reporter pretended to poke her eye in the middle of an alleged apparition ecstasy; later when questioned about it she said she thought the Virgin Mary was going to drop the child Jesus. Give me a break. When one watches the video, the body language is obvious. As for hoaxers, look up the Leo Taxil hoax that went on for 12 years, he did it to embarrass the Church. But if Medjugorje is a hoax the 7 seers going on for 40 years, it is probably because it got out of hand; hoaxers that are followed by millions of people are stuck between being the pressure to keep it up, or going to prison and torn to shreds by those they duped. Why did Jesus choose average people? Why not prove himself to Pontius Pilate? Why didn't Jesus do a miracle for Herod? Why not prove himself to presidents and dictators and me and you because we are Just So Important? God should prove himself to all the important people, don't you think?

I personally don’t believe in this Marian apparitions. Her messages there add nothing to what Our Blessed Mother has already said in the many other church approved apparitions like Fatima. And although this priest Leo is a very good speaker and story teller I think he comes off slightly disingenuous espically in her personal testimony videos I’ve watched. Also he seems to benefit from this being true so he will continue to sell it. Ave Marie and I love our Blessed Mother so much but this does not seem like my Blessed Mother. I’ll stick with the church approved appartions. Look up who the spiritual advisor was for the “seers” he’s now excommunicated from the church. That and the fact the church bishops have all said this is likely not true all tells me that this isn’t true.

Lucia (from Fatima) had a handful of apparitions over the many years, while Medjugorje’s 50,000+ on demand apparitions is an obvious red flag; but try telling that to those who seek signs and wonders. Lots of other red flags with Medjugorje, such as when Vicka flinched when a reporter pretended to poke her eye in the middle of an alleged apparition ecstasy; later when questioned about it she said she thought the Virgin Mary was going to drop the child Jesus. Give me a break. When one watches the video, the body language is obvious. As for hoaxers, look up the Leo Taxil hoax that went on for 12 years, he did it to embarrass the Church. But if Medjugorje is a hoax the 7 seers going on for 40 years, it is probably because it got out of hand; hoaxers that are followed by millions of people are stuck between being the pressure to keep it up, or going to prison and torn to shreds by those they duped. If someone says something is going to happen, like warning etc, I immediately see what medjugorje visionaries have to say. To that extent I believe in medjugorje.
