As a crypto main I honestly think he is one of the most underrated legends in the game. Not only can his drone scan enemies but it also has loads of side skills to go with it: pick up banners, scan beacons, notifies you how much squads are nearby, open supply bins, use respawn beacons, automatically reloads weapons when in drone. Like theres so much more to the drone that I think some people just don't realise it and only refer to the drone as a worse bloodhound scan. Being able to pick up banners with the drone is an absolute game changer especially when all your teamates are down and your the only one left. Crypto still has some down sides like how he is pretty much useless when his drone is destroyed however when you take the time to practice his whole kit he can be an amazing legend.
Yall the reversed the nerf on Ash let’s gooo used to be an Ash main but now Loba should. I go back to Ash? Need help deciding. Also W video bro keep it up!
Having fuse so low is abit of a shock, this season I’ve ran into more fuses than any, and insanely good ones too, having one on my team I find quite useful also
@@rydollaz no hate or anything man haha I agree with the list, personally would put fuse abit higher though. And yeah but those challenges can be easily completed in a few hours playing
The nice thing about crypto that no one ever seems to point out is how distracting that drone is and how much focus it takes from players. The drone scan is nice yeah, lets you know where everyone is. But the thing is that its incredibly loud. Goodluck trying to hear footsteps or even figure out where theyre coming from whilw the drone is flying around. Even idle, the drone is loud. Getting constantly scanned also makes a loud sound effect. This game requires you to focus a lot and the drone takes a pretty big chunk of all that focus. Some people even give up on the enemy team and choose to look for the drone instead to shoot it down
I agree nothing is more intimidating than an aggressive gibby moving forward until u hear the revenant pounce noise and look up and see his big ass with an over shield and a havoc with a conduit around the corner backing him up, this happens way too often to me this season
Honestly, Gibby, Rev, Conduit might be a comp I try, especially with Conduit being able to split her shields. On the good ranked maps, ie storm and edge, I think that could work. Although caustic might be the better choice than Gibby, idk.
Pathfinder will always have a special place in my heart since he was my first main and the character I’m the best at I’ve also been playing by since s1
Caustic main since launch week. The biggest mistake I see coming from other people who pick him is that they play him like gibby or rampart, or play like an assault legend and start hurling traps at their enemies faces while they're taking bullets. What most people don't realize is that that Caustic is not a purely defensive legend; he is an ambush predator. Your job isn't necessarily to keep enemy squads at bay, where Caustic excels is baiting and punishing reckless agressors and and catching your enemies unaware. They're called Gas TRAPS, not Gas Barricades; don't just throw them up against doors unless you really need them blocked, instead place them perpendicular to doors, or give double doors enough space to swing in, but close enough that they still trigger when they peek. I don't care who you are, everybody panics when that gas hits them, and the immediate instinct is to turn around and get out it. Be ready and punish that, you can often empty mags into the backs of greedy pushers before they can react. Caustic can also easily hold his own offensively, however there are some things that need to be considered. The main thing to remember is that Caustic's fat hitbox and lack of gas opacity (it's easier to see through than Bangalore smoke) means that as fights are prolonged, your survivability goes down. He may be fortified, but that 15 percent reduction will really only give you an extra 1-3 shots depending on the weapon. As a Caustic in an offensive situation, especially out in the open, your strength is in ambushing unaware squads and ending those engagements before they have a chance to react, and should that not happen, to control their movement and pushes. His upgrades give you the utility to do that more effectively: a bigger ultimate range is useful for obvious reasons, and 75 percent farther range with your traps means a skilled Caustic can take advantage of the occasional seconds of downtime and broken sightlines in mid-range firefights to hurl traps in places their opponents wouldn't expect them to reach. His second tier of upgrades is fascinating because both of them, longer threat highlighting and health regeneration inside your gas, can benefit both offensive and defensive situations, however I personally prefer threat vision as I feel like the regen rate in your gas isn't high enough to make too much of a difference in fights. In summary for anyone looking to get into Caustic: In defensive situations, be looking for opportunities to fall back, set up your traps, and catch pushing players off guard so you can retaliate, while also using your gas to give you and your team breathing room when needed. When it's time to go on the attack, take any opportunity to strike fast and hard; Throw in your ultimate, use the chaos and confusion to clean up as much as you can, and if you can't do that, use every second that you're not being shot or healing to scatter traps and make navigating the battlefield as hazardous as possible. He's a fantastic legend. Like Octane and Crypto, he has a high skill ceiling and a surprising complexity to deploying his kit properly, but when he's used right he's an absolute menace who can keep constant pressure on opponents and can tilt the odds even when you're outnumbered.
started playing in season 4 and first started raining wraith and wattson since they were the legendary skins on the battle pass that season lol. then when lobe came out, I instantly mained her and swapped wraith out for her as my top 2 mains. till this day I am a faithful wattson and loba main lol
As a Crypto main since I started I'm willing to see noise that the drone makes being reduced and durability increased. Someone could say this may overpower Crypto as a recon legend, but I personally have been hoping for that for a long time.
@@rydollaz for sure! I think the best skill in this game that’s constantly slept on is actually working with your team! And legend picks can have a huge impact on how you can help, picking bloodhound is always good, but if you have a seer maybe an octane to chase down sighted enemies or a lifeline to back up your recon can be a lot more useful for your team. I came back After a 4 Month Break Started with Conduit and i love her. She carried alot of lategames cuz her Double tactical Let you push into 1v2s and you dont need to Shield up while the enemy is cracked and need to heal
I've been a Rampart main since I started in Season 10 and I'd say B tier is pretty solid for her with how many solid buffs she's got over the past couple seasons. Definitely a lot better than she was when I started playing.
Started in S17. Valk is my main especially after this season. I also play a lot of wattson and wraith though. This season is basically perfect to me, but conduit and rev are so annoying to fight
@@rydollaz I think people just need to adapt to face that combo, you either go Rev, Conduit, or you look at caustic or watson, and focus on trying to focus Rev down when he inevitably takes a big risk.
Also, imo Valk still needs a bit more height on her tower, at least on Storm Point. I know that's probably unrealistic, but she just isn't strong enough on the macro rotates for me to choose her over just planning on contesting a trident.
I’ve been maining conduit ever since !!! Makes zero sense not to use her, she has too much value if not already on your team. Sticking around until she gets nerfed into smithereens
I always liked Lifeline. But they kept changing her and shes still valid but i dont like the fact that Respawn are constantly changing their design philosophy so i dropped her. Now im more of a Rev/ Valkrie main
Rev is busted when you have the right team coordination. I wouldn't say he gets rewarded for mindlessly aping if you know how to counter him. His ult, while good, does increase hitbox for that 75 hp. From my experience with him, it's best to do off angles and play smart until a break or knock happens. Then ult off of that and amplify the advantage made as even if they get the res off, you should be able to reknock the res and refresh your ult. Asides from that, I use his ult to also attract attention. Basically like a taunt as everyone will hyper focus me and not my teammates, leading to them taking advantage of the other team's mistakes.
I can appreciate the way you utilize him and to your point, good Rev players are really adept at playing with their squads and executing pushes so, I feel you
2:33 yesterday I had the worst “octane brain habit” happen to me…. Literally we had wiped a team I had got knocked by the second guy. The storm is coming, so they throw a heat shield to Res me. As much as i hate to admit it, octane is in a deserving place, i main octane since season 2 and absolutely love him, but there's no much to his kit, he's just the guy who runs fast and almost always you can lose in a cenario that other legend could be out of, this season I'm trying to change a little the legends i play, what legend would you recommend playing more?? (Also I'm in console so not abusing movements)

Have it where it only has cooldown if he knocks an enemy he’s hit with his smart bullet so it wouldn’t be too op but rewarding. Would be better than his first 2 upgrades 🥲
His passive should be that he can reload faster, you can still equip a 3rd gun but can only be used when ulting, his tactical should have 2 charges, then 3 with the perk and it should overheat weapons quicker, his ult cooldown should be lowered and it also allows you to shoot faster (like Kiriko's ult in Overwatch) while also keeping the armed movement speed and infinite ammo and the range for teammates should be 150
Why can't ash still use her tac like any other legend who use the left arm for the tac. I want her to be able to throw her tac while shooting, healing and running aswell
My mains are always D tier and need buffs, idc what you say! Lol Honestly though, who complains about their legend being ranked low? I certainly don't want my main to be S tier, that means nerfs are coming

Her tactical is the best ability hands down and is better than every ultimate ( maybe conduits tac is better, they are interchangeable ) she can get a free bat off and get her whole team to high ground instantly. Her passive is way too good with her tac and same with her ult. She has the best kit synergy we will ever see.
Never met a good conduit. I know they exist, just never encountered one on my team. Nothing but disrespect for your highest ranked legend...per my experience. I'm a Loba main...she's only B tier this season

Her tactical is the best ability hands down and is better than every ultimate ( maybe conduits tac is better, they are interchangeable ) she can get a free bat off and get her whole team to high ground instantly. Her passive is way too good with her tac and same with her ult. She has the best kit synergy we will ever see.

amazing or terrible character design depending on how you look at it lol
Bangalore will always be the most annoying to fight for me. She can cut off so many angles and obliterate a whole chunk of the map with her ult b
@@Gonzo_OG only if the Bang knows what they’re doing lol
@@rydollaz true but most new players pick someone like octane or pathfinder. I only run into veteran bangs
@@Gonzo_OG that’s fair. lots more Bangalores these days
Never met a good conduit. I know they exist, just never encountered one on my team. Nothing but disrespect for your highest ranked legend...per my experience. I'm a Loba main...she's only B tier this season
"nothing but disrespect" imma use that one
Not a bad list, but seer above crypto is crazy.. lol super bad take
Are you… a Crypto main? lol
it depends on the player - I did not say “can be as high as A or even S Tier” for the Seer bit tbf
@@rydollaz haha fair assumption, I’m not a crypto main but I love playing him with a 3 stack and he’s super strong. I’m actually a wattson main😂
@@NurseCloud9 we love Wattson mains here. & I also love playing with ✨good✨ Crypto players
L take
let’s hear your take - what’s incorrect? 🙃
its your boy??? weird...
I guess we’re not boys
@@rydollaz you are a man...a real man!
