I truely believe they make them difficult to work on to deter the DIY'ers and have most people take it to a shop and have to pay for it. Glad you got it going!!!
Heck Yeah!! Got to love an easy fix. Don't worry about the weld, I've seen what you can do. I know you can do some nice looking welding brother. Keep the great videos coming my friend.
Hint: When you buy a new mower battery, also buy a 1 amp trickle charger and keep it on the battery when not in use especially over winter. I expect my mower batteries to last 5 years or more when kept fully charged.
I have a big question to ask I got a Troy built lawn mower and I changed the solenoid battery checked the fuse jumped it n never started it has no crank no click at all
Thanks for troubleshooting possible issues on this specific model lawnmower.

Thanks, very first thing you mentioned (fuse) was exactly the problem I was having.
I'm glad my video helped
Good fix Brandon. You might want to try. 030 flux core wire, it burns through way less on thin sheet metal.
Thanks, When I get the electric done I'm going to finally get a tank of gas for it. Having light would help I couldn't see anything.
Old ignition module fell apart. Was cranking fine until I replaced ignition module.
Your transitions are dope
my dads has a no crank, same mower. Said he'd give me $50 to fix it, gonna try this one first
Good luck
Good work. Should turn a profit!
Thanks
Engineers who decide to place solenoids in locations like that deserve a Dope Slap.

Good Job Thanks 👍👍👍😜
Why do you see more rust there? Do you think it's from the ocean?
Maybe but I'm still 200 miles from the ocean

Check the voltage coming from the keyswitch to the terminal on the solenoid
I replaced my ignition module and now my mower won't crank and is flooding put. HELP!!!!
sounds like the carb bypassed and hydrolocked
