My father served in Ceylon Government Railways from 1916 to 1965 retired as a Railway Assistant Accountant
He covered all Railway destinations of srilak
Also had the privilege to travel entirely Sri Lanka Railway covered while as School Children and learnt our practical history and geography of our great mother land it was useful for my higher educational studies at varsity

I have travelled in 2 1/2 width railway track line in Kelani Valley line from Maradana to Opanayaka thro Avissawella Ratnapura to Opanayaka as my father served in Ceylon Government Railways as an Accountant
