Hello, I've been looking for a video like this for months! I too have a blown clutch line on my 2001 Blackbird. The bike shop wanted $120.00 for a replacement OEM, which is of a poor design. Thank you for showing where you routed the replacement line. I will order a HEL braided line.
hello mate,nice one as usual. i would love your opinion please, I have being looking for a blackbird the past days and the carburated model compared to the injection ones have a dif around 1000 euros.Do you think that if i go for a carburated model would be a compramize in general or I should be allright?Thank you, if you find your way here in Greece ,Ill be more then happy to meet and have some ouzo! 😂👍
Hi Mate, Nothing wrong with a carburated model they make more power than a FI model. a little bit! the FI model is a bit more refined in power delivery and the other big visual difference is the instrument cluster from analogue to digital? There are a couple of other engine mods on the later models but nothing to take away from the early models. So I gess its up to you there's no bad CBR1100 Blackbird. One more thing the FI would be much better if you use it in very cold /ice weather on start up! I have a very good friend in Australia who has a house in Greece handed down to her and my wife I are busting to come over and travel around your beautiful country. It might take a while now but it will stay on our radar when we can. So yes we will get that drink one day. take care my friend a get on a Blackbird. cheers Wayne.
