I CUT my 12" stencils down to 6" or less so they fit in the A4 binder [from Staples office supply]. I'm an artist/journaler/scrapbooker but cutting down the 12" stencils was not a philosophical problem for me. I even cut down some of my old 12' scrapbooking 'Genie' journaling templates. I use a Tim Holz Tonic scissors to cut thicker plastics.... I like to TRIM the edges of my stencils a teeny bit [on 2 or more sides] to easily store and replace them into small page protectors with a scrap of solid paper. I don't have a lot, but 99% of my stencils are about 6" or smaller. So, I use an A4 size 3-ring binder, that easily slides in/out of my shelf stand (from The Container Store a million years ago) on my journaling table. Note: I'm right-hand dominant and cut the top Right corner off the page protectors at an angle. This makes it easy for me to access and replace the stencils.... no sticking or tangling! tfs! I liked and subbed too.
I did this with all my stencils several years ago and I love having them all in one place! I hope it works out for you too! Thanks for sharing your process.
I use Totally Tiffany’s organizing boxes for the smaller and slimeline stencils and I have a hook on my origami cart that I hang the 12x12 stencils in their original bags.
I have mine in a Totally Tiffany Binder. I order page protectors in all different sizes so I can have one in each pocket and then I just flip through. I do put 2 to a pocket if there’s room and 0:02 tack them down with Washi tape. No matter how you store them the floppiness or little pieces that grab are always a pain. These go in and out well but I still have to drag out the album with I don’t like. There’s no easy solution but I like my way, it works well.
My stencils have been cut down and store in a rigid flat document folder. It works to a point, the small ones are tedious to get out so I may switch to your idea. Thanks for sharing.
I have mine stored kinda the same. I went a step further and stenciled them onto the page. Then store them in their plastic ( I found they tangle and that is frustrating) in a page protector in between the stenciled papers so only a few per page protector so easier to find. And I just have to glance to see what is in there. This description might be as clear as mud lol.
LOL I think I follow! Great idea! It is a constant struggle to organize our supplies. I am finding this sorta works, but it takes me a while to put them back, which was what I thought might happen! They often get put NEXT to the album instead of back inside 🙃
My smaller stencils were a hot mess! I like having them all in one spot now, but I’m still worried I’m going to be lazy about putting them away. We shall see!

Ok, I'm sold! Note to self! Find all of my stencils and organize them!
😂😂😂 I hope it works wells for you!
Me same!
I store them in the same way but I didn’t think of using smaller PP for the 6x6. Thanks for the idea. 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Love this idea! Definately going to reorganize my stencils to this method! Thanks for sharing
You are so welcome! Hope it works well for you.
I’m just planning organization for my over loaded very small craft room. I love this thank you

I hope so too!
Great idea, I just have a sturdy box with a lid right now! I have some old page protectors too! Well…next project! Thank you for sharing
I hope this helps you, too! It seems promising!
It looks great! I use this system too but I need to add all my small stencils.
It’s really nice having them all together!

That sounds interesting!

That’s good to hear! I may need a bigger binder as my collection grows but I feel like, yes, it would be a pain 😂
I love these bags and idea. Hugs

At least you have them organized, but I can see what you mean. Hope this works for you!

This is a great idea! Thanks for inspiring me! I think I will use some of my pocket page protectors for some smaller stencils.
That’s a great idea!
Love this idea!! My stencils are not well organized at all - just laying all over my craft space! Gotta go get organizing now! TFS! 🥰
My smaller stencils were a hot mess! I like having them all in one spot now, but I’m still worried I’m going to be lazy about putting them away. We shall see!
Love this idea!!
So glad! I am hopeful it will work well!
Good choice jayma
Thanks 😊
Awesome!
Thanks! I hope it works for you!
I store my stencils in 12x12 page protectors in an album, and small ones -go into s pocket pages))Scraprack style pockets))
Oh that’s a great idea! I could do that with my tiny ones to see them all. TFS!
I did exactly this with my stencils about a year ago because I was always losing them!
I should have done it sooner! Are you liking it?
@@JaymaMalme Yes, I am! And I know exactly where they are! Lol!
@@marshamcmullen7845 that’s a big plus!
Tried this. I hardly ever use my stencils because it's a pain to put them back and I can't see them so I forget about them 😭
I am finding the same thing, especially for the 12” ones 😅
