Personally I would go for the pre-facelift version only because I don't the touch screen display.. the swivel wheel is much better imo. Less stains on the screen and easier to operate with

Also owner of the 2018 S5 Coupe and I would love to buy a fresh one ! But its very sad that all the S models in germany are now equipped with Diesel engines only...
From the good thing about this face lift is the coupe style in this 2 doors..the previous one wasn’t like that it was more straight down not like this...thats why when I used to c the 2 doors I felt something wrong but didn’t know whats the problem until i saw this version and they fixed it
Lovely motor but like the C class i really dislike the floating screen...looks so much nicer when integrated in the dashboard
I take it this is just a mild refresh of the B9 body. The interior is basically the same. Beautiful car.

@@KK001 No there is not, the R8 rws sellings was good, they even made the new RWS full production, no limited cars, hope they do change to RWD to some Audi lineup it would be interesting and will make people be more interested to the brand it would attract more customers I know that for a fact.

Looks great, sounds horrible in the last shot 🙉 It’s basically new wheels and a new front bumper. I have a 2017 S5 with the fantastic and rare 3.0 tfsi, it’s definitely getting some updates in 2020!
Maybe abit biased as I own a 2019 a5 40 tfsi, I don’t like the new look of the virtual cockpit, other than that love everything else about the face lift

A5 50 TDI does 0-60 in 5.0s, EU S5 TDI does it in 4.6s, top speed is the same. If you are in the EU, why bother at all with the S5? Save the money for extra features or mods.

Some day Audi will hire interior designers that can figure out how to integrate a screen correctly into a dash board rather than slapping a touch screen anywhere they can fit it and then call it luxury.
Lovely car, both exterior and interior! But under that hood 🥴 Thankfully the USA gets the options of 203hp 2.0T TFSI and a 267hp 2.0T TFSI gas engines.

The A5 fully loaded is around 50k new bro and it only has 255hp but it goes 0-60 in 5.6 seconds that’s fast especially for that amount of power. It’s a luxury car not a race car. If you want more power or speed you could get a used 2020 Audi S5 in about 3 years for around 35-40k and those go 0-60 in 4.4 seconds stock. With a level one ecu time which only costs another 1k it gets over 420hp and goes 0-60 in around 3.9-4 seconds flat that’s fast as fuck. It’s faster then a brand new v8 camaro or mustang and those have over 450hp

Looks awesome outside and in.....EXCEPT for that damn screen. I really wish they’d go back to molding it into the dash. Make it smaller if need be, but please stop with just slapping a screen on top of the dash.
I was at first bothered by the screen but after driving the car for 6 months I can safely say that it is totally fine. Good resolution and does not get in the way or become an eyesore.
