We often have days where the sun doesn't shine and we aren't travelling enough to charge powerbanks on the move...so here is the answer!
We use this piece of kit regularly, usually in a busy lay-by, so we don't bother other people, grab some charge and off we go again.
This generator has a permanent place in our travelling kit now!
So nice to see Uncle’s Croft campsite again.❤

@@redsgotravels OK, thanks, I'm looking into powerbanks too and I guess have to be careful of payload with lots of heavy kit? Not sure how much that's an issue?

Great review and seems a good price, compared to the Honda eu10i that comes in around £1000. Antisocial as you said, time and a place for them. I do have a Honda and like insurance it’s nice to know it’s there if needed. Saying that, mines not been run for years as we seem to manage on a pair of batteries for a few nights off grid camping.
Good morning and Thankyou ! It’s a great bit of kit and whilst in remote Scotland for 3 weeks, really proving its worth , grey and cloudy skies , remote locations… hook ups few and far between , being used ( when we can ) to keep us topped up 🙂
Certainly worth carrying one if the solar isn’t keeping up and you’re not doing the mileage to recharge.
I know there are those that hate generators but if used correctly no one will ever know.

Excellent presentation. When you have it plugged into the van, do you plug it in directly to the van, or, daisy chain it through the powerbank, and then have the paowerbank plugged into the van? If that makes sense! Many thanks.

Hi and Thankyou ! We do have it directly into the van , it’ll easily run the fridge and sockets , if I turn on the water it’ll stop as it’s draw is over 1200 watts , but with the inverter on , it runs the van direct perfectly 👍🙂
Very nice kit and comprehensively presented. But another engine to maintain and what are the service intervals?
