I feel exactly like this. I keep telling myself I don’t want to be bald and I tell myself it’s okay, but deep down I feel horrible because it’s bald in the front, this year has been falling the worst. I don’t know what else to do with it, I hate wearing headbands and hats I’m so over it, I wish I can accept it and move on with my life ugh. I seen my hair slowly falling for 10 years I’m 35 now:(

Thank you so much for making this video, I started losing my hair about 2 yrs ago, in my mid 30's and it hasn't gotten worse really but it certainly hasn't gotten better. My doctors say there isnt any noticeable reason for it and I dont have $$ for treatments. So my hair is in a high ponytail at all times cause any other way the baldness on my crown shows...it's extremely devastating and no one in my life understands how painful this is or how ugly and useless it makes me feel, thanks for bringing some awareness

Thank you for sharing your story! I am 23 and I had concerns about my hair thinning three years ago. My PCP at the time told me not to worry about it, he didn't see any signs. A month ago, I went to the dermatologist and had two doctors confirm, immediately, that I had signs of female pattern balding. I was so nervous but it was nice to have them validate my concerns and work on steps I could take to hopefully help this situation. I hope you are doing well!!

Hi Cici! Just stumbled upon your video. Thanks so much for sharing your story, I know it takes a lot of courage, as female hair loss is a topic that is not talked about enough in the mainstream and it really impacts our mental health and self esteem. I noticed my hair thin drastically about 3 years ago at 28, now almost 31 it hasn't gotten much better and I'm trying to get help, but it's crazy to think I didn't even know women could have hair loss at all! (other than maybe at old age). That is how awfully unaware we are to these issues that are actually quite common, as I have come to learn. We need more acceptance and awareness in our society, and learning stories of others like you, who are so brave to share their stories publicly, really inspire me and fill me with hope. I wish you the best on your journey! Buena suerte ✨

Hi Aurora! Thank you so much for watching my video and most importantly, reaching out! It is extremely difficult for a woman to open up about an issue like this one as it is not accepted in society. So is we talk about it, it will get accepted quicker... you are not alone 💜💜💜

Also started losing my hair in my late teens. It’s been almost 10 years now. I felt like there was something wrong with me but it’s nice to hear that others go through this that early in life. I’ve worn wigs for a few years now and shaved all my hair off (which was so freeing) because trying to hide it everyday was just too much work. I do love wearing alt hair but I did want to give my hair another shot as the hair loss is not too advanced yet, so I decided to start minoxidil. It’s not been long enough to show results but I’m excited to hear about your journey :)

You are a beautiful courageous woman!! I until I had a total hysterectomy as a result of uterine cancer I had pretty thick hair all my life. Six month after my surgery my hairs started thing because I no longer had ovaries producing estrogen and could not take estrogen because the cancer I had was estrogen feeding. In dealing with this what I have discovered for me what enhances my loss is when my Vitamin D level drops below normal which happens for me living in a cold climate during the winter month so I under my doctor's direction I have to increase the dosing of my Vitamin D supplements. You are so right that although we may share the same hair loss issue the cause can be very different. Never give up hope, and prayer too does help because the Bible tells us that God knows the count of every hair on our heads, and if hair was not important He would not created us with it.

Hello, I am 54 years old and started to notice my hair go thin at about twenty 1 or twenty two. I also suffer from female patern baldness, it comes from my father and the rest of his familly. I went to a dermatology by then i was prescribed with minoxidil which i used for almost thirty years now. It is not the perfect sollution, there are some places in my head where i have to try hard not to be too revealing , but it has provided me with a little bit of relief and confidence because some hair does really grow. I don´t now if this is for everyone, it is expensive, demanding and tiring some times but it has helped me. good look and be brave.

@@CiciCastresana Hy again Cici , In the last 3 months I have been trying coffe, rosemary oil, onion juice, rice juice, apple cider vineger and lemon, wth the shampoo or applied directly in my scalp and I can say that there are some new hairs growing all over my head and the hair itself has become fuller, healthier in a way i believe it has never been probably my hole life. I usually use one of these products once or twice a week not more because i am afraid it might be too much for me, my hair doesn´t like olive oil nor castor oil, they make my hair fall in large scale, but you may try it in a small part of your hair if you think it will be good for you. I am also using ginger water ( put some ginger slices in water for some days and then rub the hair with it. The last few days i have already reduced the amount of times i use minoxidil . Use it one day , the other i don´t and it has been ok, not noticing hair fall. Since I started this procedure, also demanding in hours spent and some eforth, I have not seen hair falling wich is strange for me,the hair is strong. Maybe you could try this . Perhaps it will help you too. Hope you try it and tell me if it has been good for you . By the way, I am Portuguese wich is funny because we are comunicating in english with each other.

I was just diagnosed with aga on Thursday. I am devestated. I’m 36 and this doesn’t run in our genes on either side of our family so I don’t understand how I suddenly got it. I’ve been struggling so bad mentally since I found out :(

@@CiciCastresana I feel less alone since finding you on here. Nobody in our family has hair loss. We’ve gone far back and not a one. It makes no sense. :( I can’t stop thinking about what to do about it or how fast it will progress or if I should just shave it now and get it over with since nothing stops the hair loss anyhow. It just slows it down. (If it works) 😔 What did you do with your bio hair? I’m afraid a wig will just be a constant reminder of this diagnosis. My heart is breaking and my mental health too. Are you on Facebook by any chance? ❤️❤️
Thankyou for your understanding words. I know we’re not alone. I’m just not handling the news well. I’ve lost complete joy and motivation in life. I hate the mirror knowing I’m going to lose what I have and that my hair isn’t going to grow anymore. I just don’t want to watch it get worse more than anything. It’s also getting extremely oily now so I don’t like my hair already. I just wish I could go back to 3 years ago when it was just thinning out from age but that was all. :(
I’m going to continue to follow your journey. You’re inspiring and make me feel less alone. It’s hardest when you’re offline and alone battling it.

Hair loss is almost always hormonal ...even if the blood doesn't show anything...we are sensitive to DHT which causes the hair to fall out and miniaturize... you need to go on spironolactone and minoxidil asap...even low doses you will see improvement!!speak to your dermatologist for very low dose .

that hair after covid… unfortunately, I don’t have the answer to your question as my type of Hairloss is completely different than yours. My Hairloss is due genetics. I haven’t been nor I am sick, it just falls off… however, what I know is that hair grows VERY slowly and people seems to see results after 6 months or so… xxx
