I'm in Burbank and have known Rob since the 80s. I don't know the sweetheart deal Fanatics must of offered him to move his inventory over to their platform, but I think it will be a bad idea. There has been a few ebay clones over the years and NON of them have been successful. I do wish them the best and maybe im wrong, Ebay will be king for years to come.
It’ll be interesting to see how it all shakes out for sure, especially two years from now. I wonder how much of Rob’s business is in store versus online. Seems like he does well in store so wonder if he can afford to shake things up a bit online. Thanks for watching..
I agree 10005% fanatics live is clunky hard to use and gets no eyes 👀 on auctions for lower value stuff which I feel must be a good portion of Burbank online inventory sales
A postal employee from my local post office which is also a processing facility told me the shorter pwe’s are hand sorted and don’t go through the sorter. My problem is I just need more sales and traffic to my store. But I’m only 6 months into this and I know it will come .
It takes time. Keep listing and doing all the things like good customer service, quick shipping, good variety, fix priced and auction and things will pick up!
Are you calling eBay standard envelope shipping plain white envelope? You cannot send jersey cards using eBay standard envelope. Even if the envelope is less than 1/4 inch thick, it has to be flexible. Envelopes that aren't flexible have to be shipped Ground Advantage. Every time your envelope makes a stop at a USPS processing facility, it is machine sorted. The barcode on the eBay standard envelope is in the Intelligent Mail barcode format. It cannot be read with a hand scanner. It can only be read with the barcode reader found in the automatic sorter. If the envelope cannot go through the automatic sorter, it will not have tracking.
Use a top loader, then wrap with construction paper for thick cards. It helps with evening out the edges.
Good call. Still trying to figure out how to approach it with all the suggestions I’ve received. Thanks for the input.

I use Armalope envelopes for those slimmer game jerseys. I buy in bulk @.14 each. They will have to be shipped at the 2 oz rate. Buyers love them.
Nice! Thanks for the tip. Do you have a link to the ones you use?

I buy frequently through eBay and have been sent Jersey cards, lots, and even packs through pwe. As a seller I wouldn’t do it but some people do.
