happy to have you guys in my hometown .. funny thing is i'm going to the UK in few days.. Buraidah isn't that big but it has everything in it and it's also as every other city is unique in its own way hope you had a wonderful time here and wishing to see you again wishing you the best
Glad you guys enjoyed your time in Gassim! It's been very refreshing and exciting to follow your journey exploring the country including rarely visited regions such as our humble Gassim! I'm from Unaizah which is Buraidah's neighboring town and I would be more than happy to show you around if you ever decide to visit again! Gassim has much to offer in terms of nature, architecture, and cuisine with some of the best preserved Najdi architecture and our world famous dates and date pastries! It's a very agrarian region so the camel market was only one side of that but hopefully you can see more on future visits ❤😊
First of all, Buraydah isn't a town, it's rather a big city of 750,000 inhabitants, only a few UK cities are larger than Buraydah. Second, Buraydah isn't an unknown city -as you said, it's very famous for many things, including being the bread basket of Saudi Arabia, having so many famous businessmen, clerics, writers, gov't officials, ...etc. Third, where did you get that Buraydah has never been visited by foreigners? There are >200,000 foreigners working in Buraydah including thousands of Westerners and so many Western travellers visited Buraydah in the last two centuries and wrote books about it. I understand your need to make your website and subjects exciting, but for the sake of honesty and integrity please be fairminded and impartial.
I actually was so impressed as how the camels looked and the birds looked beautiful. I’m very very funny when it comes to animals abroad but these were not for making money from tourists. Such a diverse country and a mall for dates lol that’s a new one on me
