Is it just me or does this new grinder sound exceedingly loud and squealy for a grinder in this price range? This is the second video I have seen on this grinder, just can't get by the sound. Love the configuration of this grinder just not the sound in a home environment!
@@miicoffee I might be, but it appears I'm not the only one with this view of this grinder. Thanks for your comment, I'll just move on. Observations don't appear to be welcome here!
@@miicoffee That video clip sounds like what I would expect that grinder to sound like. So what changed on that unit compared to the one you demonstrated? Something is obviously different.
I hope Luke from Miicoffee reads this. I emailed you this a while ago when i bought my df54, that DF needs to come out with their own 64mm vertical style grinder. The df83V was priced at a cost most coffee lovers would not pay. Now this should be a better affordable option. Im tired of seeing way over the top prices for in simple terms (a coffee grinder). Yes you Zerno, Philos, mxaries, etc. Like seriously youre spending over $1k for a coffee grinder !!!!! Youre already psychologically thinking this makes your coffee that much better because you spend a $1k + when in reality its B.S ahhahaha Thank you DF for making coffee grinders affordable and putting greedy out of touch hipster in their place
Thank you for the comments. This one will become the new benchmark for this price range. It's precise and very small tolerance. I will share some insights in the next few days.
from my experience with the DF64 there is within 0.1 grams worth of retention, which is within margin of error of my scales. i would confidently say that there is no meaningful amount of retention with that machine (unless it hasnt been cleaned in a while) so if this new one is of comparable quality then i'd bet its the same deal here
Nice looking grinder. I prefer the look of these switches compared to the switches they have used on some of their other models.
there is an auger. The game is on ;)
Burrs swappable like the df64 series where have options for different burrs?
yes, please check the details at miicoffee.shop/products/miicoffee-cf64v-variable-speed-single-dose-coffee-grinder
Any idea of availability date and price. Looks really nice.
It will be available late Dec or early next year. The price is about $500.
@@LukeZhang thanks!
Wow, I thought my Arco sounded bad.

Sounds very squeaky
No retention (1 second before makes a cheap edit cut..) LOL
You need to show the scales before and after i dont believe there isnt any retention sorry

@@thomasgale3008 He said" zero" .01 is something. No grinder has zero and from the videos I have seen on the df64 it can vary.
@@carrscoffee My DF64V never goes over 0.1g, in fact I don’t even bother weighing afterwards anymore.
@@1bbnnkk that awesome if it is but why not show us what the scale says?
Noisy
Like literally every other grinder ffs
The ugliest grinder they have ever made and people calling the df64 ugly wait till they see this
The previous ones are all made by the brand Raccea, but not this one. That's why😂
Price, performance, etc. should be factored in. "Looks" are trivial. So, basically...who cares....
