Fabulous little video. Straight to the point. No annoying UA-cam Music as well. I can honestly say you are fast becoming my go to content for hill walking.(Along with MUNROSnCORBETTS). I love your descriptions and the shots you make. First class.👏👏👏👏👏 Thanks for your work.
That brought back memories - especially the little Aonach Eagach. I also remember that I walked along the path into the Blackmount Estate all the way to the foot of Beinn nan Aighenan which I then ascended. A bit of a hike on a very hot day.
Hi Pip Moz, yeah the little Aonach Eagach is really nice! The other one you mentioned "Beinn nan Aighenan" I need to look up haven't heard of him yet 😎👍
Scene of my failure a few weeks ago 😢☹️! Attempted on a very warm and humid, clammy day and my old body was wiped out by time I got to the summit of Stob a'Choire Odhair. Could even rest there as the midges and flies were horrendous. Knew I didn't have the energy to carry on, so descended back to the car park. Was a blow to my confidence and still bothers me today that I wasn't able to complete the circuit. Hope to return on a cooler day to complete.
Well the warm weather, humidity plus the beasts is really pushing the body and motivation + some days are just not good for walking, had this on Wednesday, somehow my body didn't want to walk (was walking until midnight...) Fingers are crossed that next time you have a better walk 🤞👍
Pretty special, and a good portrayal of how the route unfolds but you're far too discerning with the camping! Think you need to return to this one in a clear spell post midge season?
Hi James, definitely I need and want to! it is just such a lovely scenery and not as busy as I assumed by its accessibility, particular in comparison to Glencoe!
@@StripeyHatGuy considering doing the Blackmount traverse from Bridge of Orchy this autumn taking in Creise and Meall a Bhuiridh as well and getting the bus back to the start. If I did that I'd have to camp😄😉
oh absolutely, so far I had on neither of them a wild camp - but carried both times the stuff 😂. I thought that by Sron na Creise where some decent spots, just after the scramble part (if you wanted to scramble or walk down from the top of Creise). Wish you all the luck mate! 👍
A nice wee brocken spectre too. Your luck with the highland weather gods continues! I love these two hills. Good stuff as always stripey hat guy!
Thanks a lot Scott, fingers are crossed that the luck continues 🤞😁

Cheers MaliceGLA the Blackmount area is really nice!
Loving your videos my friend, keep it up.
Thanks a lot Kenneth I am sure there will come more as I haven't really seen a lot from Scotland yet - just such a beautiful country ☺️

Great video Stripey👍🏻 Beautiful area around there and some great mountains! Cheers, Mark.
Cheers Mark 👍
Pity about the camp stripey! Still a good wee walk! Paul
Yeah I know but I am for sure coming back at some point, maybe even for a wild camp 😊👍
Nice tour mate👍👍👍 pity about the wild camp.
Cheers Tam, yeah sometimes it just doesn't seem to work out 😂👋👍
The light and clouds made for some great atmospheric shots. It may spoil the wider view sometimes but it’s stunning none the less - Alistair
Absolutely Alistair, was definitely worth it. ATB Stripey

Some decent winter climbs around there
Hi DiZZy ViziOn, I believe that there is also a east-ridge scramble which I completely forgot up from the Lochan...next time 😂👍
@@StripeyHatGuy Always leave with an excuse to return mate 😁
Hahaha I really like your thinking! 🙌👍
