do you know the 7898? I was wondering if you wanna brainstorm with me how to modify both of them and merge them somehow improving both sets to a real nice combination like a heavy duty double locomotive

You could have just did the setup on the 7939, 60051 and 60098 sets

Great video :) Does the second motor double the top speed of the locomotive?

Thanks! No it doesn't increase the speed at all but it will be able to pull more

Hmm, thinking about it some more, maybe it will increase the top speed when dealing with heavier loads, the kind of load that would otherwise cause it to be slower. I just think it might not be noticable on a short train. I should measure it. Acceleration may also be better in some instances.
