- Fun fact about Mr. Ark here, I found him at Target while on vacation last week in Las Vegas older. Which meant I had to pack this guy into my one and only backpack I had as a "personal item" on the airplane. Not an easy task.

The "tokens" are big items from the Beast Wars series. They're called the Golden Disks.
I know what they are, but it doesn’t make them any more fun or useful to me lol.

The golden disks... the two most important items in the G1 universe, holding the ability to completely change the fate of EVERY character. You're kidding, right?
Hate to break it to you bud, but they don’t actually serve a purpose in the real world 😂 I know what their relevance is in the show, that doesn’t change how useless they are as an accessory to a physical transformers toy.
@@papermelon only about as useless as an Optimus coming with a Matrix or a Soundwave or starscreaming coming with a gun that looks like Megatron.
@@NexusProductions-rz1sv nope and nope lol. Soundwave and Starscream that come with a mini megatron can actually hold and use it as a weapon. And Optimus prime’s matrix packs concisely into his chest for proper storage. I don’t personally care for it, but it doesn’t get in the way and act as a throw away accessory. The discs don’t even store properly without falling out whenever you budge it. And it certainly doesn’t serve as a proper weapon.
Doesn't teletran or ark use the discs as a launcher or smtn?

Personally I love the inclusion of the Golden Disks, they work great in a Beast Wars display, they can fit in Kingdom Megatron's dinosaur hand and even Dinobot's claws when he makes his heroic sacrifice! Neat lil accessories and I love the Ark's whole vibe, feels like an abandoned guardian left to rot after Cybertron's golden age and I adore the reference to The Last Autobot in the head design (based on the Autobot logo itself)

I know its kinda late to comment but personally i really dont like the ship mode in terms of seeing it as the ark. Like i think it looks fine in of itself but as the ark i think its too off. Not having 5 or 7 thrusters, the mid sections not thin enough, the sides of the back section look unfinished. The color. The bot mode tends to look a lot better with clicking all the joints at least once or twice. Maybe try getting him to hold something like a rock or a bot to crush

i know no one is going to see this 2 years after but i love this figure even tho i know its bad i love the hollow spots i love how it looks it has a charm to it and i know its TRASH TERRIBLE FIGURE! but i love it, just cuz i like it doesnt mean its good, its a bad figure in robot mode

Yeah that’s pretty solid. If you’re okay with how he looks in bot and ship mode, you’ll be able to deal with his other flaws okay for $110

He’s a transformer, not a bionicle. If I wanted figures that looked like bionicles, I’d collect bionicles. If you like that, more power to you, but I’m perfectly reasonable for wanting my transformers to look like transformers lol.
