The one that stuck out to me was in B3 when Goku goes SSJ4 and says "I'm stronger this time". I think what makes it so cool is that he puts a massive understatement so plainly lol
I'm glad that Sparking Zero brought back Meteor Blast (though they renamed it Meteor Crash), and I while I'm glad they gave SS3 Goku his Super Dragon Twin Fists, I do hope Meteor Impact returns for one of his alt costumes.
But in sparking zero ssj2 goku's meteor blast is incomplete, it does not have all the hits that goku did in the anime against kid buu, in raging blast 1 and 2 the attack is complete, i hope the will add the complete attack in the final version of the game, also in sparking zero they gave to ssj2 goku the super kamehameha as a ultimate when ssj1 has that attack as normal super, again, like in bt3.......
Super Saiyan 3 Goku having the Super Explosive Wave came from his battle with Fat Buu when SS3 was first shown so it makes sense for SS3 Goku to have S.E.W.
Specifically, it's when goku kicks buu belly and buu counters by expanding his belly and crushing goku, who escapes using an explosive wave, which flattens buu instead blowing him to bits for some reason

One thing I appreciate Raging Blast is that it limited Super Kamehameha as a regular super attack to SSJ3 Goku, since it makes no sense in BT2-3 that SSJ Goku has it as a normal Super but SSJ2 doesn't because he needs it as a Ultimate Attack.
Absolutely loved that they did that, which makes its return in Sparking Zero all the more puzzling, because if you already fixed that, why would you bring it back?
@@blastthechaos6083 You're probably right, but they even made a step in the right direction by giving SSJ2 the instant kamehameha as a super, since he already had it in RB2. I think they could have given him the Meteor Impact as an ultimate, just have him transform mid sequence, and it's not like SSJ3 is gonna miss that attack anyway.
@@ignisalge7156 BT4 sorta did the same thing by making SSJ Goku Ultimate from DBZF his Ultimate...though honestly the fact that SSJ2 requires another transformation to stand out in it's Supers/Ultimates already says it all in how little unique moves it has.
Pretty strange that Super Saiyan 3 Goku from Raging Blast 1 and 2 got rid of Dragon Fist. Kind of a weird omission. But Meteor Impact is still pretty cool. Love that attack. Now as for Meteor Smash. Once again, Tenkaichi 3 remains my favorite version of the move. I love the impact, sound and that attack animation.
I think it's because the movies aren't canon... even though both games have Broly and 2 has plenty of movie characters. I guess it doesn't help that it would have to be his Ult, and therefore a move you couldn't replace in customization, which would have made it impossible to play as a "canon" SSJ3 Goku. It'll be interesting to see if they bring it back for Sparking Zero.
I’ve always liked that the Tenkaichi series gave each form of Goku a unique fighting style. SSJ2 Goku is pretty unique when you take in account how his normals look. I don’t know if this references how he fights in the source material but he spins around and does a lot of roundhouse kicks and backhands. You can see it most clearly if you compare his high speed rush for his SSJ1 and SSJ2 in Tenkaichi 1. As far as I can tell, they get rid of this in raging blast.
Both Raging Blasts give SSJ2 Goku a different moveset based on roundhouse/spinning kicks too; this is especially noticeable in RB2. His speed is also substantially increased.
seeing you upload again is reminding me of my teenage years when i would watch your reviews of the raging blast movesets cause i didn't have a ps3. good to have you back on here! hope to see you review sparking zero and its character movesets
The announcement of Sparking Zero has awoken Omega2040 like a mythical figure of ages past, and I love it. I remember watching your BT3 videos in middle school, back when I was first getting into Dragon Ball Z. Glad to have you back!
The bt3 instant kamehameha is miles better than earlier variations. Whilst it loses it cinematic features, nothing comes close to the satisfaction of pulling it off whilst surrounded by piccolos hellzone grenade or uubs ultimate.
Bro I've been watching your shit since you were live posting the bt3 movesets when I was in middle school. I just want you to know I still watch your stuff.
Super Explosive Wave, as far as I understand comes from when he powered up into Super Saiyan 3 for the first time in the anime. The reason Dragon Fist is omitted from the Raging Blast titles is mainly due to Harudigarn not being in the games since the move was used in that Movie.
I actually prefer the non-cinematic variations of Instant Transmission Kamehameha, even as an ultimate. The rush is cool, but from a gameplay perspective, it's just a dash into a cutscene. The non-cinematic version opens up a bunch of unique interactions instead.
Something Raging Blast did is it at least scaled the more powerful moves with the transformations. So even though Super Kamehameha isn't that satisfying of an ultimate, it at least feels more satisfying if SSJ2 is the first form to have it, as opposed to SSJ1 Goku having it as a super, and then SSJ2 Goku is suddenly using the normal Kamehameha. Same thing with Vegeta, where his SSJ form in BT had Final Flash as a super, and then SSJ2 has Final Flash as an ultimate.
I think the reason SSJ3 Goku has Super Explosive Wave in the Tenkaichi Games is because there are two times it is made a spectacle when Goku goes SSJ3. In the Anime and Fusion Reborn, a significant amount of runtime is dedicated simply to the Transformation and it is made mention of just how much energy Goku is generated simply by him powering up. My guess would be having SSJ3 Goku possess a Super Explosive Wave is their attempt at giving Goku a Move that does damage simply by him powering up to have more semblance of those moments in The Buu Saga and when Goku goes SSJ3 to fight Janemba.
I've always hated the "Angry Kamehameha". It's not a Kamehameha at all, it's just a generic ki blast Goku used to counter that of Frieza, who by the way is guilty of the same thing. Like imagine if Black Frieza and Goku are having a close fight and they really have to pull out all the stops, instead of being a clash between a massive Death Ball/Supernova and a (real) Kamehameha, they're like "when all else fails, I have to use my ultimate move...the ki blast with one hand for some reason!!!". Even in RB when you can edit the moveset you still can never change the ultimate. I know the attacks are faithful to the source material, which is the point, but they really make me cringe.
