The knob on the back of the machine is to adjust the needle stroke or "give" and I think the main reason so many people burn out their rotary machines is by running them on too high of voltage. I've been tattooing over 25 years and have both expensive and inexpensive rotary machines and I never run them over 7 volts even pushing 15 mags Also putting a drop of machine oil on the bearing will make them even quieter and take alot of stress off the motor which will make it last much longer

I tried one. Worked okay. Swapped out the plastic needle tensioner with a brass one. Changed motor out with a Japanese motor. Runs smooth and quiet now.

I paid 17 bucks for this machine bc k have higher prices rotaries. I line with this around 7 volts. It does an excellent judge. However, the dampening system on This isn't the greatest. So it doesn't hit as soft. But I've gotten ten time my money out of it A&d I'm still using it. Not bad. I just ordered the hyper they made to check of out. I'll be using my Diablo and hummingbird gen2 majority of the time anyhow
Just got one, works fine, people are tripping, hd 7 hour session today.
Loop Control a year later I have to ask if you've used those machines and still do and how you're doing progress wise.
I still keep my old dragonfly knock offs in the drawer just in case but even my storm rotary machines don't do half of the work my nexgen paradox does
@@TommyLourdes-singer-songwriter wait wait, i need to ask, how does the machine perform, i know that these dragonfly bootleg copies hit hard but are they durable, im just worried about the small parts breaking, and from what website did you order it from, like aliexpres or other types
The motor burnt out rather quick but when it did run it worked great for both lines and shading. I ordered a new motor for it since I liked how it worked.

i brought a clone hyper v3 about 9 months ago and its still working good as new... just ordered another 2 and a amen one lol

I just ordered the hyper too.lol. the bizarre surprised me honestly for under 20 bucks. I have very expensive machines. Now Chinese cool machines are junk(most) of the time. But they are stepping their game up with their motors. Only problem with my bizarre was the dampening system. Does your hyper dampen well and have lots of give for soft grey shading?
Clone Amen sucks I hated it the clone Hyper is a great machine drawback on it motor gets super hot now the cline Bizarre love it lines great doesn't get hot
the 'speedadjusterknob' vibrates itself loose. The machine works well. Shame that they dont fix this knob. I have to put a small part of duckt tape over it. Else it screws imediatly loose to the end. Maybe there are other chinese immitations that have better adjusters,I dont know. You cant see it in the photo's on their websites. So it is a gamble when ordering these things.What I Do know is the Stealth immitations are solid.
U didn't even tighten the vice so we can hear it at its best cause that rattles around. How long u apprentice for :/
good stuff! i hate the big companys that make all the profit of machines that cost under £25 quid to make! then market them for anything upto £600, i basically got one of the big branded ink founders to admit that in the begining their inks were produced in china! yes china!

The main thing is a motor. Chinese use very cheap motors however the original one uses high quality maxon, faulhaber, namiki etc.. Whichs lasts long and cost aroung 100 to 150 US dollars (only motor)
I love mine work fine l only tattoo family and friends .

all my machines are 100 on up most expensive is my workhorse pilot at 300... BUT i use my fake stigma on almost every tattoo. i do mostly photo realism and cover ups and norm run my machines 5 hour or more at a time been useing this machine for a YEAR now XD still runs great like day one. its my go to color packer. sucks for lineing imo mainly just slows my hand speed down and i line fast so thats my only prob with it. but thats what my workhorse is for ;)
i have one of them but i have a problem getting my tube setting right due to the spring that holds the needle tensioner.

I have 2 china knockoffs and one burned out around the 5th hour the other has lasted about 12 hours and still runs like a champ.

How do you know whether the alloy used is safe? How do you use that on someone when you don't even know if it will work properly? Do you tell the client you're using a cheap substitute? Give them a discount?

i got the exact one and its garbage...any tension on the needle slows the trash motor down and bumps amps way up....then over heats all that fun stuff but i bet the real one is nice...not to mention the two shafts that guidge the bar are crooked.....i dunno.. best one ive seen out as far as clones is whip and dragonfly...ok so i just noticed a few differences...mine had paint on it and different vice screw...its always hit or miss with clones...whats the ebay seller u bought this from?
My Chinese "German" machine knock off came with two sets of instructions in the box one in English and one in German.
They both say made in Germany printed on both. No Lie
So they work ?

Preventive maintenance and a little drop of machine oil on all the bearings can make a serious difference on how your knock off tattoo machine will last and perform overall
I received 8 of these Chinese Knockoffs from a company in China as a sample. I tested them. They do work ok, but do not run anything like the real machines, made with a Swiss motor. I dont sell any knockoffs, as they really destroy the businesses of those who are professional machine builders.

Men, i have this machine but don't filling good...how to set up for filling color? for shading y open this "button up" very opened and 5.5 V. For filling color i open the button a little bit more and set up 6.5 V. It's that ok?.

Sergio P. ilsergiotattoo hey bro, the button will ajust the give when the needle hits the skin so I tend to have it turned all the way (soft) for shading and color but for line work I use it with no give at all, the voltage you are talking about is very close to what i use but that will all depend on your hand speed

an in between hit works for for packing color for me....def not as soft as shading almost as hard as a liner...or slow hand speed down with low volts and no give....all preference

Needle bar fell out tensioner broke, fell apart, only Bishop copy lasted, 2 out of three junk, but Anecdotal. Hardly see how plastic screw will hold up, can’t adjust ‘give’ on fakes, top popped of and set screw gone, tiny thing!

Chinese coil machine are garbage don’t buy but there is one brand called Legend made in China which is pretty good not good as Xion though but it’s working fine with a reasonable price
