    I've been selling wholesale for over a year and I've gotten up to around 25K per month in sales. However; I've found myself in a situation where I have plateaued - so I've been searching for new ways to find suppliers and honestly Todd - you are giving away gold for free. Some people don't realize that this takes time and effort, You're going to spend 100+ hours looking for suppliers before you land some really good accounts (not just with this method - but with other methods too. However, this might be faster than the others) - but it is an awesome method. Also - you're probably one of the most detailed and well spoken 'FBA wholesale trainer' - if you will - that I have ever seen. Thanks for the wealth of information. You should create a wholesale course and compete with the other big guy. The level of detail you give far, FAR outweighs what he offers. Also - he does not talk about any of the methods you've outlined in this video - along with your others. His level of detail literally pales in comparison to your's. Good work man - honestly.

    Just hit $3,000 in sales my first month doing wholesale! I have a few questions though.
    How many suppliers do you have that you actively buy product from every month?
    What is your method to keeping this organized?
    How often do you request product lists from them and how often are you analyzing their spreadsheet/catalog.
    At what point do you stop contacting suppliers? Right now I have more suppliers than I can manage as far as capital to buy all the profitable items.
    Thanks for the content!

    • @AmazonSeller.School
      @AmazonSeller.School  5 років тому +4

      Congrats Cody that is awesome great start. I have are round 15 suppliers that I buy from every single month and I use restockpro to keep it organized.
      I usually go back through their list every two to three months to see if anything new has emerged that we can sell.
      Personally I would never stop contacting suppliers you could maybe slow it down a bit but you can keep contacting them and finding those profitable products and when you have the cash to buy you buy.

    So here is my thing... I have a legal legitimate business now, I have been using some free tools and I have spent a lot of time contacting wholesalers. The tools look like they would make it much easier BUT I do fear that these tools are being promoted due to the affiliate. Nothing wrong with that at all but I wonder if these are products I absolutly NEED to make this a serious business.

    • @AmazonSeller.School
      @AmazonSeller.School  5 років тому +1

      Good question. Most things can be done without tools but tool make it faster and easier and for me are worth the cost. All thr tools I promote are because I do use or have used them before. Some are affiliate because it's a way to get paid for giving away my free content which takes time to make.

    I have a client who is planning to venture in wholesale. The client is currently subscribed in Shopify. Can I do a strategy like this?
    1. Product Research using Jungle Scout and then find a similar product to AliExpress.
    2. Do dropshipping at the start to test the winning product at the start.
    3. Do the test and find the winning product.
    4. From the winning product, buy to the wholesale products to the supplier a little.
    5. Buy more products to the supplier and scale up the marketing.
    Am I doing this right? If not, what are your suggestions?

    • @AmazonSeller.School

    Since I am a newbie, I have been reading about all kinds of tools and strategies.
    1. How many WWB/other suppliers can directly send stuff to Amazon FCs under your FBA account to save you a lot of hassle?
    2. I came across Helium10, a better cheaper version of Jungle Scout with some added features.
    Do you think Helium10 can replace some tools on your online tools list (eg Jungle Scout, AMZ Analyzer, Keepa, etc.)?
    Trying to reduce clutter...thanks much for your potential response !
    Cheers🤗

    • @AmazonSeller.School
      @AmazonSeller.School  5 років тому

      Hey A. Mian thanks for the comment. It is hard to say how many WWB suppliers will direct ship to Amazon but in my experience it is around 25-40% will do it if you ask. Usually I just ask if I can provide shipping labels for the case pack of the product.
      As far as Helium 10 I have recently started trying it out. I have not used it enough yet though to pass judgement on it so stay tuned for a video down the road.

    • @AmazonSeller.School

      Because if the item has more sellers on it then it's more likely you can open an account. The number of sellers depends on the total sales per month and the minimum you are willing to do the work necessary to get the product into Amazon.

    I have been reselling used books and a few other items for a little over a year on Amazon but no real breakthrough yet. I have been watching your videos, especially the one on reverse sourcing. I do have Jungle Scout (my experience with Jungle Scout has been good) and the Keepa extension which has been very helpful. With Amazon I now have a 100% rating and I need to obtain the Prime Badge and get ungated for toys, which I have been unable to do so far. That's pretty much where I am at. I have subscribed to receive your e-mails, and looking forward to your next webinar. Any advice you can give in the mean time would be very helpful. Thanks.

      @AmazonSeller.School  5 років тому +1

      Awesome to hear Rhonda congrats on getting started that is the first step. The key will be to keep finding new products to sell. To get ungated for toys you need to find a toy distributor, make a small test order of 10 units and provide that to Amazon to get ungated.

    Informative. When we find few profitable products and before final decision, i come up with a product that has got good sales per month but the sale rank is dubious because of multiple sales rank for parent product category on the particular amazon page . How do you sort out multiple sale rank issue since it is really important during listing process? Is it any paid software to know the exact sale rank of the product?

      Niche is actually fine you just look for having more then one selling because that increases the odds they will open an account for other sellers.

      @@AmazonSeller.School Thats amazing. How can you avoid products, where the price is going to be decreased due to sellers who keep undercutting the buybox price? Unfortunately i have invested recently to such products only, so most of my products are stucked right now because of sellers like this. It seems, these sellers dont understand, that buybox is rotating, and doing this they just destroy their own and other sellers margins. So can you please give me advice how to try avoid such products in the future?

    • @AmazonSeller.School

      I usually find out the price I need to make the profit I am looking for and ask how many you would need to buy to get the price to this level or lower. The amount of products depends on the supplier and could be anywhere from 20 unit to 1000+ units or $500 to $100,000+. It really depends on the size of the supplier and their requirements.

    Hi Todd, It is undoubtedly very informative video. I am new into e-commerce and want to start Wholesale FBA business in Italy but I am living in Sweden. I have heard that in order to start selling on Wholesale FBA model I must register a company in the same country where I want to sell. So if I want to sell in Italy I must have a legal entity/company and registered VAT and tax numbers in Italy and also I must have a seller account for Italy market place. Can you please let me know if my understanding is correct?

      You open the seller account all under the same login. You will get access to most of Europe. You can do either fulfillment from Germany or have stock in multiple countries. Each country where you have stock you need to be registered to pay taxes.
