बढिया review रवि भाई । पिछले 2 3 vdo से जो आप गाड़ी कम से कम 1000 - 1200 km चलाते हो, वास्तव में असली रिव्यु वही होता है । आपकी मेहनत को सलाम है । बाकी एवरेज न देने का मेन कारण मुझे ये लगता है कि, गाड़ी अभी बिल्कुल raw है । जब इसकी एक सर्विस और oil change हो जाएगा , तब सचमुच फर्क आएगा । दूसरी बात हाईवे पर average के लिए 80-90 तक कि स्पीड ही ठीक रहती है । उसके बाद तो स्पीड का मजा लो या इसी एवरेज पर टिके रहो, choice आपकी ही होती है ।
This is a typical trait of Aisin gearbox I believe. In my XUV700 too, the gearbox hesitates to downshift when demanded, for quicker overtakes, I need to downshift manually most of the times.
@@IndianRedBaronThe downshifts are not jerky in the Aisin gearboxes, its just that, they hesitate to downshift when accelarator is pressed to demand power, it will continue in the same gear and after some time will shift to a lower gear if the accelarator is pressed for long. That's what Ravi bhai highlighted near the end.

I own xuv300 petrol Yesterday i made a trip of 450km and got mileage of 17.4kmpl on highway Cruising 80-90kmph with AC on. Car just crossed 5000 km on odometer. I think it all depends on how you drive since engine is same in XUV3XO.

Aapki punch ki power figures kya hai?? Compare punch with same segment cars. 3XO's power figures are more than Nexon so fuel efficiency will be slightly less. One can't get both combinations with peppy engine and mileage together.

I am quite sure after first 2000 kms 3X0 will easily give 12-13 in city and 16-17 on highway as even XUV7OO petrol with 200 bhp power is giving 14-15 on highway and 10 in city. Overall 3XO has better power figures, better inside space, more features compared to Nexon, Brezza, Venue, Sonet. This will be a smash hit in my opinion just like XUV7OO which is leading the mid size SUV segment even after 2.5 years of launch.
Very nice video Ravi ji. I own a Tata Altroz iturbo xz+ and this is the problem with turbo engines. My Altroz also gives 15-16 kmpl in highway runs. In City I am getting around 12-13 max.
This is not true, i am getting mileage of 18-19 kmpl on highway runs in my polo 1.0 tsi with an avg speed of 90-110kmph. And on medium city traffic like in Chandigarh l. it is between 13-14
If someone is looking for Mileage. Then this car is not for you. This is for someone who needs peppy engine fun to drive. You never feel you are in a hatchback while driving.

We all praise Mahindra engines for their performance but Mahindra need to learn to also work on efficiency as well. 13-14 is too low on highway. In city expect 8-9 or max 10.
Meri Nexon Diesel, kitni hi fast bhaga lo, with full time ac, full load with 4 adult passenger and sport mode, ek full tank mei 650+ kms aram se chali jaati hai, Aur aram se chalao to 800+ kms, all highway figures. And these numbers are only from reserve to reserve, in reserve it shows around 150 kms of range.
Isse accha to nexon de deti hai higways par mileage, highways par nexon 17-19kmpl ka mileage deti hai, Aur 6th gear me nexon bhi 120kmph 2000rpm par kar leti hai
also to consider the creator had drove an fairly new vehicle , the avg. run in period is 250 - 500 km . let the engine get set first , i believe the avg would improve gradually
My XUV700 AX7 L petrol gives around 14 km/l on Delhi Mumbai Expressway during at 110 km/h so the fuel efficiency of this much smaller car was expected to be better.

Mahindra has always been ignorant on mileage issues. This will cost Mahindra dearly despite bringing such a brilliant car. People will sway towards Brezza Hybrid or Nexon because eventually city mileage for 3XO will be around 9 or 10 kmpl. Dont know how to make Mahindra understand this. Maybe Mahindra is trying to address affluent class knowing that performance and features will make them sell. Cant understand their business model. Could have easily tuned down torque to 75% of current offering and power near to 110 bhp bringing better efficiency and those figures would have been excellent too. Brezza and Nexon operate in that power band and the users are pretty satisfied with their output. We dont need nore than those figures on Indian roads. Currently 3XO outclasses its rivals and competes directly with a segment above it but at the cost of mileage which is really a wrong/miscalculated tactic.

Honest review and reliable.
Mahindra has always been ignorant on mileage issues. This will cost Mahindra dearly despite bringing such a brilliant car. People will sway towards Brezza Hybrid or Nexon because eventually city mileage for 3XO will be around 9 or 10 kmpl. Dont know how to make Mahindra understand this.
Maybe Mahindra is trying to address affluent class knowing that performance and features will make them sell. Cant understand their business model. Could have easily tuned down torque to 75% of current offering and power near to 110 bhp bringing better efficiency and those figures would have been excellent too. Brezza and Nexon operate in that power band and the users are pretty satisfied with their output. We dont need nore than those figures on Indian roads.
Currently 3XO outclasses its rivals and competes directly with a segment above it but at the cost of mileage which is really a wrong/miscalculated tactic.
Highway pe punch se 25 ki avg aa rahi hai without AC and 20 with AC on. Delhi maie mil raha hai 14-15..

My Indica v2 diesel jan2004 model gives 22-23 km/l on Ac on highway at speed of 80-90 km /hr....city drive...16-17 easily

Average is fine, reasons for low mileage maybe,
1: only 123 km driven.
2: speed 100 km.
3: mileage test on new car without first oil change
If you are running your car in D mode all the time then how it will give u the good meailage..

Mileage is always less for first 2000 kms in any new vehicle. It gradually increases after that and get stabilize by 10k.
