Great guide, just one pointer! For me on all my simulations since I started playing fury warrior the 150 haste gem has been better than the 200 strength gem, even now that I have 30.17% haste. The stat weights on Strength is 10 for me and the stat weight for haste is 14.78, which means that 150 haste > 200 strength.

Jorben De Froy unless you have really high haste, around 34-37, you can't use rampage in your BC window because rampage has a higher GCD than your other skills, so you wouldn't be able to use RB twice in your BC window.

Hey man. Sweet video. Was on the lookout for a fury streamer. Glad I found you :) I play with 150-200ms. Stacked haste to 33%. Shall I drop the haste to 27% and focus on other stats or should I continue stacking haste? Also, are you holding off rampage a bit when you're already enraged? Last bit of advice, I have a lvl 845 Nightmare bark which gives 1,177 strength and 1160 haste. Is that a better choice than a lvl 865 Spontaneous Appendegus? When I sim it. the nightmare bark gives a slight dps boost but when I use it on a dummy, the Annendegus wins. Q_Q
Don't purposefully drop haste, if the gear is an upgrade, then yes, it's okay to lose some haste. Don't hold rampage, follow the priority in the video. Appendages is pretty RNG of a trinket, so it's hard to see how well it does just hitting a dummy a few times.
if you have high AK and can reach rage of valarjar first, go for that. If you're about to step into a raid and only have time to get one more point, get sense death.

yeah, the proc would go infront of RB in priority in both enrage or non-enrage. your burst window is the same except your can replace one of your RBs with Execute or the 2nd BT.
use it the same way you would for raging blow, if you're enraged, yes use it, if you're not enraged and can try to get enraged in the next GCD, do that
Joshua Earp those were my first two. I do have 4 however (cloak and bracers in addition). For getting the 35th trait. I did level my warrior to max level on the first day, so my artifact knowledge is the highest it can be. I do as much artifact power world quests as I have time to and I run a lot of mythic+. Pugged early on as a prot warrior but now I have a few guildies that I spam mythic+ with.

Joshua Earp if you can find maw key. Those were the best. As a fury warrior, I also love doing eye just for the last boss lol. We also avoided blackrook and halls of valor whenever we could. When we do carries, we do a lot of +6 and +8 depending on the 2nd affix. If the 2nd affix is easy like overflowing for example, then we can do 8+ and 3 chest too (# of chest doesn't really matter, just an indicator at the clearing speed). Playing on US-Ner'zhul atm. Hi m8, Great vid :) Just wondering... After ur charge + DR + Cd's, is it possible to make one macro for the part left of the opening? And one for the rotation it self? Trying to make my macro work but it seems like i'm doing something wrong about it.. Should i use #shadowtooltip /cast xxxxx, /cast xxxx etc or do i need /castsequence reset=2 (followed by) xxxxx, xxxxx, xxxxx etc? Would been great if u had any tip about making one or two macros that would work for this spec :) All advise and tip will be much greatfull! Thx :)
I would heavily suggest that you do not use any cast sequence macros. I would only have a macro to pop your cooldowns together. The only macro I use just casts avatar, battle cry, and troll racial at the same time.

I'm trying to work on my warr. I want to maximize my dps but I've always traditionally been a clicker kind of guy and never use hot keys. But the macro for all the cool downs seems amazingly helpful and I should use it. Just don't know how well I'll be able to get used to it ::
definitely recommend binding your keys so you're clicking, it'll be worth it in the end. you'll have much more control of your character during fights.
When the expansion first came out, it was thought that Fury warriors wanted 30% crit so we can rely on bloodthirst to enrage us, but as theory crafters have found out, haste is a much better stat to go for and to rely on rampage as our consistent source of enrage. So we have no soft cap for crit really, or any crit goals you want. Your stats look pretty good, now you can confidently look for ilvl upgrades since you have so much haste.
Thank you so much for the guide man, I've been waiting eagerly :) Im at around 870 ilvl and I kinda follow the rotation already, but I seem to use furious slash in cases where bloodthirst is on like a 1 second cooldown and raging blow is off cooldown (whilst not enraged ofc) But according to you, this would not be worth it? the 15% extra crit chance takes me up to 43% on my bloodthirst, instead of 28.
What's the difference between an arms warrior and a fury warrior? I started 2 days ago and for me warrior is the class to go in MMORPGS. I asked from many streamers which and all said "arms for sure". I didn't ask why because I had wow and battlenet installation problems so I had my mind in there mostly.
arms is more single target focused and relies on a lot of random chance for dps. fury is much more consistent dps and generally does better in aoe situations. fury can be very strong atm if you are geared
Xmog in this video is the Heroic ToV set. For the axes, you need to be exalted with the stormheim rep and be AK 4 or 5 at least and kill both of the dragon world bosses to get their skulls and get a drop from God King Skovald in Halls of Valor. You combine the 3 items to get the appearance.
i keep forgetting that dr gives you 20% more damage i used to play abandon cause i let out a really fat rampage with my relics but i can see why you play dr and massacre
Is Crit a good stat? I know all these people believe that crit is no good. But I am at 25% haste 37% mastery and also find that stacking a bit of crit boosts your dps.whats your thoughts on crit?
Kelade yes. I do not tend to go higher than 25% crit. Also I have around 30% haste. I feel that stacking any extra haste is dumb... so I am concentrating on mastery now. So 25% crit - 30% haste and rest just as much mastery as I can??

Hey Kelade. You seem like you know what you´re talking about. I´m at ilvl 873, 34% haste 16% crit 37% mastery. Got the cloak and bracers (legendary) my wep is 898 (34 traits, AK20). Prehaps its just as simple as it´s me sucking at the rotation but no matter how hard i try I barly pass 300k dps. Sure my burst is more then fine but that drops drasticly just after a few seconds. Obviously Fury aint optimal on all bosses due to too much movement etc but even at bosses like Guram and Ursoc my dps is pure shite basicly. I´ll try to follow your rotation more closly and see if that makes a difference. I guess thought that the ring + helm is quite a big part if the your dps. I usually glance at Icy-vein for tips and i use Askmrrobot for gearing. You said the foodbuff fishburl, I have allways used the 375 haste food?! I´m gonna try the fishburl buff.
Make sure you follow the priority and rotation here over Icyveins, they have some outdated stuff on there. Also use simulationcraft over AMR, it's a much better sim software that tries to keep up to date. Really make sure you are using the opening combo that I have and to use that combo every 50 seconds when your CDs are up again.

I just did a sim in simulationcraft and i acually did a LOL irl couse the sim said i should do 422k dps and since im not even close to that I´m guessing i´m doing something fundamentally wrong. Now I know you should take those sims with a grain of salt but still.. im so far off. I´m useing AMR for gearing, like "Best in bags" and AMR prios haste above everything else. I noticed the SimC used 375 mastery foodbuff but you use Fishburl? So BC on CD but how about Avatar? If avatar is close to be off CD should i w8 with BC? Like if avatar has less cd left then the BC 50 sec cd. *Edit* Btw.. Do you wait with Rampage til you not enraged even if you are at max rage?
At the minimum, you're going to switch to take Shockwave instead of Double Time. If you don't have the legendary execute ring or if you're doing really low mythic+, you can take carnage. Wrecking Ball is also a viable option if you are doing lower mythic+, or if you have the legendary belt. War Machine is also viable, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Then definitely take Shockwave! Also, sephuz will be much better with the 7.1.5 changes that make it work with interrupts, along with providing more haste with the effect.
Fury warriors are definitely more viable now. As far as using dragon roar, check out my new video for 7.1.5 that I uploaded yesterday. That video has the correct builds.
I saw that, and pretty much running that rotation and spec. With a few of my own personal spices thrown in the mix. Thanks a ton man, you really made Fury work for me.
Ventsi Panov I don't have the most optimal ones atm. You want to aim for battle cry damage relic. Followed by the raging blow damage relic and enrage damage relic.
Reszo Seress no. Your crit is fine. You should look to be over 24% haste though. You can drop a higher ilvl gear if it'll put you at over 24%. You need this so you can get 2 enraged RB in during battle cry.
Take frothing berserker and reckless abandon. ST rotation all that changes is don't use Rampage unless you have 100 rage. Opener is CDs+Ramp, RB, OF, BT, RB.

i am very geared. This video is slightly out dated, but your opener should be the same with the exception that your'e going to do rampage instead of the first BT (make sure you have reckless abandon as the talent). So you would charge in, pop your CDs (BC+avatar), hit rampage, RB, OF, BT, RB.
550k dps, that is the bottom line my friends want me to get or else they said it's hard to take me to m15+ dungeon. Yet 550k is just a little bit above the tank, just don't know how should I improve my dps to that level. My dh team mate usually have a stable dps around 650k to 750k, in specific dungeon even 900k.
If your'e talking about AOE pulls and overall 550k dps. A lot of it willl depend on your CD use. Make sure you're getting enraged when you use DR+BC buffed Odyns Fury. That alone can do 1 mil dps.

Hi again Kylade, i saw your warior on armory and i don't understand how is so much difference of weapon damage stats, i mean i have 905ilvl at weapons and 888ilvl per total with damage weapons 45793-51541. You have 902 avg ilvl and 911 at weapons and you have 62076-69979 :o I mean is almost 20 25% increased PS: i have one more trait to put on last trait with 5% more damage but still is way to much to reach that average damage at weapons Regards

Gargo roth you said it you have lower gear and all he is doing is combining dragons roar avatar and battle cry plus the enrage effect to hit massive raging blows
for the normal rota you say "enrage + raging blow" i have never seen a proc'd or enrage'd raging blow lol also u start with this combo but if u wanna be enraged u need to crit with bloodlust this is kinda unclear for me
I just mean Raging blow when you are buffed by Enraged. For combo, are you talking about my opener? Your first BT will be guaranteed to crit because its' buffed by Battle Cry.
You are giving the execute ring way to much value bro. It is not your BiS legendary, it´s the helmet. Increasing your rage generation means increasing your enrage uptime and uptime on enrage is everything on fury, thats why we stack haste. You would need a lot of crit to get free rampage procs from free execute´s and guess what? we dont care about crit at all.Even the 5% cloak is better than that ring.

Kayir yep. The strength gem is more valuable when there's aoe. And since the gems are relatively close for ST, might as well go with the STR gem.

You shouldn't purposefully drop haste. A lot of warriors have "low" haste because that's the best gear they have available.

Use Simulationcraft for simulating gear upgrades.
Yep, you can charge+use DR at the same time.

Thank you so much for the guide man, I've been waiting eagerly :) Im at around 870 ilvl and I kinda follow the rotation already, but I seem to use furious slash in cases where bloodthirst is on like a 1 second cooldown and raging blow is off cooldown (whilst not enraged ofc) But according to you, this would not be worth it? the 15% extra crit chance takes me up to 43% on my bloodthirst, instead of 28.
If you have nothing else to press (bloodthirst, raging blow, rampage, and execute), yeah go ahead and press furious slash.
Can I ask why a lot of people use Warpaint? While this reduces damage in enrage by 5%?
Empiik people don't use war paint anymore after enrage damage taken was changed from 30 to 20 percent. Bounding stride now.
What's the difference between an arms warrior and a fury warrior? I started 2 days ago and for me warrior is the class to go in MMORPGS. I asked from many streamers which and all said "arms for sure". I didn't ask why because I had wow and battlenet installation problems so I had my mind in there mostly.
arms is more single target focused and relies on a lot of random chance for dps. fury is much more consistent dps and generally does better in aoe situations. fury can be very strong atm if you are geared

How did you get your xmog? And the hidden appearance
Xmog in this video is the Heroic ToV set. For the axes, you need to be exalted with the stormheim rep and be AK 4 or 5 at least and kill both of the dragon world bosses to get their skulls and get a drop from God King Skovald in Halls of Valor. You combine the 3 items to get the appearance.

Is Crit a good stat? I know all these people believe that crit is no good. But I am at 25% haste 37% mastery and also find that stacking a bit of crit boosts your dps.whats your thoughts on crit?
Joshua Karr crit is nice but never try to get more. Haste and mastery is our best friends.
Kelade yes. I do not tend to go higher than 25% crit. Also I have around 30% haste. I feel that stacking any extra haste is dumb... so I am concentrating on mastery now. So 25% crit - 30% haste and rest just as much mastery as I can??
no, generally haste is better than mastery until you reach 50% haste.

I had 16% critical ND my dps was terrible, I had a very hard time getting enraged. now at 25% critical and my dps went up a crazy amount...

Your dragon roar does very little damage in single target. It's better to have avatar for a future skill down the road.

Maybe sure you are following the opening burst completely. You'll lose around 40% damage if you are not enraged.
Hey Kelade. You seem like you know what you´re talking about. I´m at ilvl 873, 34% haste 16% crit 37% mastery. Got the cloak and bracers (legendary) my wep is 898 (34 traits, AK20). Prehaps its just as simple as it´s me sucking at the rotation but no matter how hard i try I barly pass 300k dps. Sure my burst is more then fine but that drops drasticly just after a few seconds. Obviously Fury aint optimal on all bosses due to too much movement etc but even at bosses like Guram and Ursoc my dps is pure shite basicly.
I´ll try to follow your rotation more closly and see if that makes a difference. I guess thought that the ring + helm is quite a big part if the your dps.
I usually glance at Icy-vein for tips and i use Askmrrobot for gearing.
You said the foodbuff fishburl, I have allways used the 375 haste food?! I´m gonna try the fishburl buff.
Make sure you follow the priority and rotation here over Icyveins, they have some outdated stuff on there. Also use simulationcraft over AMR, it's a much better sim software that tries to keep up to date. Really make sure you are using the opening combo that I have and to use that combo every 50 seconds when your CDs are up again.

I just did a sim in simulationcraft and i acually did a LOL irl couse the sim said i should do 422k dps and since im not even close to that I´m guessing i´m doing something fundamentally wrong. Now I know you should take those sims with a grain of salt but still.. im so far off.
I´m useing AMR for gearing, like "Best in bags" and AMR prios haste above everything else.
I noticed the SimC used 375 mastery foodbuff but you use Fishburl?
So BC on CD but how about Avatar? If avatar is close to be off CD should i w8 with BC? Like if avatar has less cd left then the BC 50 sec cd.

simc uses the wrong food. As long as you'll get your BC window during Avatar, you can use it. Use rampage if you don't have enraged RB off CD.

At the minimum, you're going to switch to take Shockwave instead of Double Time. If you don't have the legendary execute ring or if you're doing really low mythic+, you can take carnage. Wrecking Ball is also a viable option if you are doing lower mythic+, or if you have the legendary belt. War Machine is also viable, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Then definitely take Shockwave! Also, sephuz will be much better with the 7.1.5 changes that make it work with interrupts, along with providing more haste with the effect.

Fury warriors are definitely more viable now. As far as using dragon roar, check out my new video for 7.1.5 that I uploaded yesterday. That video has the correct builds.

Ventsi Panov I don't have the most optimal ones atm. You want to aim for battle cry damage relic. Followed by the raging blow damage relic and enrage damage relic.

BC relic, RB relic, and Enrage relic in that order.

Reszo Seress no. Your crit is fine. You should look to be over 24% haste though. You can drop a higher ilvl gear if it'll put you at over 24%. You need this so you can get 2 enraged RB in during battle cry.

Yep np! you might need a slight bit more haste due to latency, but as long as you can get the entire opener with BC, you're good to go.

Take frothing berserker and reckless abandon. ST rotation all that changes is don't use Rampage unless you have 100 rage. Opener is CDs+Ramp, RB, OF, BT, RB.

Hey I wanted to ask how you burst for so much dps? I burst for 600Kish and you burst for 1mil. I must be missing something here my ilvl is 870.
i am very geared. This video is slightly out dated, but your opener should be the same with the exception that your'e going to do rampage instead of the first BT (make sure you have reckless abandon as the talent). So you would charge in, pop your CDs (BC+avatar), hit rampage, RB, OF, BT, RB.

550k dps, that is the bottom line my friends want me to get or else they said it's hard to take me to m15+ dungeon. Yet 550k is just a little bit above the tank, just don't know how should I improve my dps to that level. My dh team mate usually have a stable dps around 650k to 750k, in specific dungeon even 900k.
m15 is hard, if you're not really geared, it will be very hard for you to complete it.

If your'e talking about AOE pulls and overall 550k dps. A lot of it willl depend on your CD use. Make sure you're getting enraged when you use DR+BC buffed Odyns Fury. That alone can do 1 mil dps.

Ðazzant haste/mastery as main. But a little bit of vers and crit isn't bad (just don't actively search for crit, you'll get enough just randomly)

Hi again Kylade, i saw your warior on armory and i don't understand how is so much difference of weapon damage stats, i mean i have 905ilvl at weapons and 888ilvl per total with damage weapons 45793-51541.
You have 902 avg ilvl and 911 at weapons and you have 62076-69979 :o
I mean is almost 20 25% increased
PS: i have one more trait to put on last trait with 5% more damage but still is way to much to reach that average damage at weapons

24% haste is the minimum, you would ideally want more, but I just wearing the best items i have.

Gargo roth it also depends on how many traits you have too because if you proc berserking (your third artifact golden trait) is also a dps increase

You are giving the execute ring way to much value bro. It is not your BiS legendary, it´s the helmet. Increasing your rage generation means increasing your enrage uptime and uptime on enrage is everything on fury, thats why we stack haste. You would need a lot of crit to get free rampage procs from free execute´s and guess what? we dont care about crit at all.Even the 5% cloak is better than that ring.
That's completely wrong. Ring is currently bis. Look at all the top parses on warcraft logs. You get free crit % on execute from your artifact.
