    Great guide.... this really did go over some more in-depth stuff instead of the basic info that most guides go over.
    Not much to add but I will add some tips of my own. Like u said, use all your CD's. Stuff like Demo Shout usually isn't used often enough, people try to save it.... same with Spell Reflect. Be a beast with interrupts, u can use after charging in to help group up mobs easier.
    For rage.... I like to think of Ignore Pain as a rage dump... so plan around it. If you need to get a shield block off, use it before ignore pain (u can't use it after since u prob won't have rage).... and follow with shield slam if poss to get rage back. So shield block>ignore pain>shield slam (or revenge if aoe). Pretty obvious but figured id add it.
    For tanking, kiting helps alot too.... if melee adds can't reach u, then u take zero damage, which is great. Tclap snares, shwave stuns, and u can use intercept or heroic leap to get away quickly to kite adds and give healer time to heal u. Warriors, and really all tanks, have to do this alot in difficult content.
    I hope you do more classes.

    Well done. Picked up a few tips from you here on what to watch for on certain situations. Id request on videos like to maybe also post your spec in the comments. I'm also curious on your thoughts (I know you mention it in comments) of the vengeance/ultimatum combo and working Focused Rage in on rage consumption.

    do you have an updated version of this since Devastator talent come out? If not, do you recomend picking Devastator?

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  7 років тому

      Yeah check this out ua-cam.com/video/6n8a3d-I8nE/v-deo.html
      Also, I run Devastator when running Mythic+ that is < 10 or LFR/N Nighthold. If you are progressing (M+ 10 or more, or Heroic/Mythic NH) I recommend Indom. It helps out your healers a little bit more by giving you about 1m more hp

    I'm a bit confused as to what you mean at 2:12 when you say you use Revenge if "you're at less than one global cooldown". If you, or someone, could elaborate I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

      Depending on your haste your GCD can vary from 1.5-1s so I only use revenge if the time left on my SS CD > GCD (1-1.5s left)

    Hi Lately been watching your vids and after watching a guide from you i changed my build not to include vengeance/ultimatum talent points. But focus more on shield block 100% up time. I am now confused what is better. I have to say i like the build without the vengeance and ultimatum more. i got no problems with rage. But what do you think. Also for 5 man dungeons do i use inspiring presence or Indepnding victory, do i use inspiring presence only in raids?

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  8 років тому

      Veng/Ultimatum will always edge out, but since it has been nerfed and IP has been nerfed too its not a HUGE difference. Excluding them form your rotation cleans things up more and makes things more steam lined. However, if you have no issues with it, continue doing it.
      I prefer not using veng/ultimatum since it's less on the fly math heavy for calculating Rage dumped for IP maximizing and SB.
      I also really like inspiring presence in 5 mans, its such a significant heal on a short CD that can even be reset during trash pulls!

    Hello thought i share my opinion on tanks for tjis expansion ive played prot paladin as Main during WoD but ive Also tanked with dk monk and warrior. For now i think that warrior tanks are Number one to mitigate Dmg u just have so many short cooldown defensives It is so good prot warrior is the Winner imo

    Hello, what do you recommend, going haste/mastery or to focus more on versatility/mastery? And why?

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  8 років тому +1

      Hi!
      I recommend Haste/Mastery because I feel Shield Block on 100% uptime is better for PvE mitigation. Also, its a more streamlined and not as dependent on procs (from devestate). I'm almost to the point that I can keep Shield Block 100% of the time up and it's great having that! Also, the more mastery the more crit blocks which are 60% dmg.
      Something else you should consider, IP blocks 99% of dmg but only of a certain amount, kind of like a bubble. Shield block mitigates ALL damage for 6 seconds! No cap on it, only time.

    • @eazye519
      @eazye519 8 років тому +1

      Befuddled Gaming shield block blocks physical damage only while IP ignores 90 % of all damage based on a certain amount. think you got that backwards

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  8 років тому +1

      Right, I didnt state that it is only physical. So IP is 99% of all
      damage but only to a certain amount. You have a 200k IP? Okay it only
      mitigates 200k.
      However, if you have a typical trash pull or a fight like Ursoc which is mostly all physical, SB will mitigate 30-60% (depends on mastery) of that damage for 6 seconds. Regardless of if it's 200k or 2mil.
      tldr; SB has no damage cap on what it mitigates, IP does.

    I disagree of not using ignore pain after charge to the enemy. Charge > shield slam> Ignore Pain >if multi target > Thunderclap>Shield slam> ignore pain. Ignore Pain is Stacking and multiplying damage ignoring on the next charge

    For farming transmogs around 70-80lvl, could a warrior/tank handle that or would you recommend a prot paladin?

    Soooo, revenge is bad? Just a question, I use it quite a lot for the insane AOE it deals, but I'm not supposed to?

    • @sinson1307
      @sinson1307 8 років тому

      And how do you even get so much haste and mastery? i have 12% haste and 37% mastery, is it simply haste&mastery > ilvl?

    • @joedirt4190
      @joedirt4190 8 років тому +2

      No, revenge is good for aoe stuff but not single target. For aoe, like dungeon trash, you use revenge early and often cause its high aoe threat and with lots of enemies u get more rage. But for single target, its better to just spam devestate to try and get more shield slam procs since shield slam gives much more rage then revenge.... for single target just use revenge once in a while if u haven't gotten a shield slam yet.
      As for gear and haste/mastery.... in general u want highest ilvl u can get, but once you get to a certain point u can start picking for stats. Like say at 840 ilvl, or 860 ilvl.... most ur gear is 860 and gear that drops is around same ilvl then pick the stuff that has haste or mastery over something like crit.

    • @sinson1307
      @sinson1307 8 років тому

      Joe Dirt thanks for the comment, was still a little uncertain about the revenge, but now that I'm 873 ilvl, I have gotten my stats fixed and I'm sitting with 25% haste and 50% mastery too bad it's hard to get good versatility on gear

    Tanking mobs and bosses brings plenty of rage by damage taken. I spec for Demoralizing Shout to jump rage if I ever get low. Kills two birds w one stone and forces my shouts into rotation

    And with Clap you can almost body pull masses of mobs

  • @Handsome347
    @Handsome347 8 років тому

    And on very serious situation s like hard beating mobs they going through ignore pain pretty quickly, so IDK how you giving yourselves full time for ignore pain skill

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  8 років тому

      +Denis Kharin even you said it. They eat through IP. So if you run out of IP then you start taking 100% damage!
      However, if you cast SB it lasts 6 seconds no matter how much damage. And it's 30-60% mitigation. No matter how much damage. It has no ceiling, they can't eat through it.

    • @Handsome347
      @Handsome347 8 років тому +1

      Understood, will try use on mine. Someone told me if you find a way using IP correct, there is no tank will replace you ever.

    "less than a global cool down...." what....?

    • @BefuddledGaming
      @BefuddledGaming  8 років тому +2

      +birutaishere global cool down is normally 1.5 seconds but because of haste can go as low as 1 second. General rule of thumb, if shield slam has less than 2 seconds left just use revenge

    • @birutaishere

      it means that if shield slam remaining CD is about 1.5S you should use revenge because when the global CD ends , shield slam is ready to use.
