The nameless boy takes up the nameless sword…SYMBOLISM
You mean a nameless bankai right?
@@ultradripstinct7105 that too
@@madambutterfly1997 his sword now has a name tho
@@ultradripstinct7105 it didn't have a name when he pulled it off of the corpse he took it from
@@madambutterfly1997 but the moment Zaraki picked it up it was given one that Zaraki couldn't hear
What I find great is that Ichigo's situation is like Zarakis's situation.
Both have in truth tremendous powers but it is unknowingly, subconsciously surpressed because it would kill them.
That wasn't the case for Ichigo at all; Ichigo knew nothing about himself nor his powers & scared of himself since the Hollow-Soul Reaper manifestation of Zangetsu represented his pure instinct (via love of fighting/self preservation)
@@AngelKnightZeo713Zaraki Kenpachi also knows nothing about himself. Why do you think he always stayed with a Asauchi ? His Zanpakuto rejected him.
Kenpachi is the title and Zaraki the place where he came from. A distorted place somewhere in Soul society
@@Grayson-Winchesterno his zanpakto didnt reject he just wasn't listening to it and did hear calling to him. Also an asauchi is the form it takes before it becomes a zanpakto, his asauchi became a zanpakto when yachiru came.
@@smokeyjoseph1790Kenpachi weakened himself so much though to the point where he was as weak has a newly trained ichigo in shikia he only got his kid strength back when he was in tybw
I feel as though Gremmy's side of the conflict was really underplayed by the anime, and it cost a degree of characterization I needed to fully grasp why this was a fight specifically good for Kenpachi as a character. Having read the chapters of the fight right after I watched them, I was shocked how much smaller the Peanut Gallery was made to compensate for time. It makes me feel that extending this season by even one more episode could've done wonders to each moment featured.
I completely agree. It's unfortunate but if it's any consolation, they seem to be freeing up insane amounts of space for anime original material. The first two cours will have adapted 14 volumes, leaving only 7 volumes for the remaining two. This episode just feels like a sacrifice, with incredible sakuga but poor pacing overall. Whether that sacrifice will be worth it or not is yet to be seen but as someone who prefers reading Bleach over watching it, I am content with the approach Pierrot seem to be taking.
Its been an absolute pleasure of an experience to listen to your critical analysis and unfolding of the character and development of Zaraki Kenpachi. Your flow is impeccable and the concluding lines hit very hard with impact. I should say you're one of the best who was able to uncover the lore of Kubo and go beyond simply iterating the episodes.
Kenpachi and Gremmy’s dynamic is absolutely absurd, one of the most minor in screentime but potent in purpose and effect
Great video as always brotha!
Couldn't agree more, thank you for watching bro and I’m glad you liked it 🙏🏽
I JUST FINISHED YOUR ICHIGO VIDEO
For me he was the character which spawned my love for the "blood knight" archetype as you described it and ever since I've tried to find others like him in different manga/anime and find his inspirations. Personally I think he has a lot of Zodd in him from Berserk.
This nigga was using a ordinary kitana for 90% of the manga. The funniest part is that the entire gotei just assumed that Kenpachi was so strong he couldn't seal his sword so it was stuck in Shikai lmao 😂. The only captain in history to not even have a shikai
Man this video truly captures the essence of Kenpachi from Zaraki. Great job!!
truly a one of a kind character. one of my favorites
Kenny talking to Unohana during their battle, and then everything that comes from that was awesome, plus even before that, whenever he talked, I listened
His arc is all about understanding corn rows look stupid on thin faced people with long pointy noses.
There is somethings very interesting about kenpachi’s battle with unohana. Considering Ichigo vs Kenpachi in soul society foreshadowed Ichigo's real Zanpakto (Ichigo’s reaistu taking the form of a hollow) which later led ichigo to have the "blade is me" moment at the same time kenpachi's reaitsu takes the form of a skull and also “Nozarashi” in Japanese means “weather beaten bones”. So that skull was definitely represented kenpachi’s real zanpakto. Now comes the important point.
During the fight of kenpachi and unohana we see lo of skeletal representation more noticeably the "half skull face kenpachi" moment of kenpachi, like half of his face is a skull. So I believe during that moment kenpachi was having a realization similar to the "blade is me" of ichigo.
Whenever Kenpachi is on the screen you know you're in for a good time.
I never realized the parallel between Kenpachi and Stark before
If you ever have a chance to reread Zaraki's backstory it's FULL of foreshadowing and symbolism, both verbal and visual. It's really kind of crazy just how well thought out the series is after multiple rereadings.
Just a few examples is Yachiru emitting crazy power the exact same time Zaraki does in the fight. There's also the fact that Ichigo and Zangetsu are fighting together while Yachiru watches from a distance.
There's a ton more. It's kind of stupid how in depth Kubo was with all the characters and their foreshadowing. It's very clear Kubo is an architect rather than a gardener, which may be why his series gets the least reception of the original Big 3
babe another Radman video 😩
Appreciate you
Great freaking video, he went from A tier til S tier validly!
I JUST FINISHED YOUR ICHIGO VID
it was a masterpiece
So many parallels that happened in Kenpachi vs Gremmy flew over my head until this video. Thanks for the work🙏
Banger video my dude
Bruh amazing fucking video 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m subscribing rn
Radman is on the grind I love to see it ❤❤
I'd say the "enlightment" is polidimensional.
Zaraki might appear to Unohana to have limited himself "by her misgivings"; however, it was also a developmental learning. The aim to "relish sport" does involve restriction: for fine-tunning. Unohana have been "not strong enough", aye, yet also Zaraki-to-be also have been "not discerning enough" in his degreeing. Both succeeded in learning, even as both failed to satisfy/support their initial hypothesis to the most hopeful degree.
Such adaptation of each co(s)mic facet in the single encounter is the kind of Tao/Dao that good manga display readers in a scenic theatrical introduction to.
In other words, the enlightment of self-discovery seemed to be further away, yet it was actually a closer step. Straight through a curve.
Akin to how a √2 distance from origin point may be achieved by two √1 steps. Yet is even closer using a two-dimensional curvature, instead of off-shooting a single line not initially angled ideally to the ideal goal.
Yachiru Unohana's reborn. Hell's but a young jungle. Yearning for angling.
Yachiru Jr's fictional. Zanpakutou are characters. Angled mirrors.
Death's a narrative tool. Life's acute aloong.
I got sad when he was giving the orders to squad 11 to find Yachiru 😢
Kenpachi, who was "locked up" psychologically, suffering from shackles created by his own mind.
Gremmy, who was "locked up" physically, being locked in a room Yhwatch created.
Both displaying how internal can affect the external and vice-versa. Kenpachi finally becoming a kid at his height of battle, and fully embracing it, naturally - and Gremmy thinking he needs to prove himself to adults, by Force? Childish both in appearance and in actions, but its common for kids to want to be adults.
Kubo's use of black/white in the manga, depicting Gremmy's conscious battle with his subconscious, which he was even battling to the very end, till he died. Kenpachi is a winner from the start, from his very core, there were no doubts. Meanwhile Gremmy was a loser from the very start, falling to the monster, that was there long before his fight with Kenpachi. For me, I think the manga works a bit better and really captures the consciousness/subconsciousness battle, especially with the way black and white work there, along with how Kubo delivers his panels and the episode's fast pace... But still, what a video, what an episode, what a series.
Awesome
goattt
The second Yachiru wasn’t really there. She was a fragment of his zanpakuto independently manifested
Please do more bleach videos on characters of the entire series even Tosen.
I APPRECIATE THE SPOILER FREE VIDEO
I missed watching your stuff
Bleach hell arc has so much potential 🔥
Fellow human Radman,
Please beware: 6:40 flashing lights.
No health harm done, yet it was disturbing. I was not expecting it. Maybe I should've, considered some of the background effects , but I didn't. I was not promptly ready to pause the video, as well.
I *EMPHATICALLY* suggest to beware and *avoid flashing lights*. Emphathy, informed by good will, brings the world closer to paradise; one tidbit a a time. Thanks for pondering.

Bleach 🔥🔥
You did two massive bleach videos, can you do a One Piece, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Berserk story explained video?
Can u talk about the eyes in bleach universe? why does reio have four, yhwach had two then it changed and became three, mimihagi have one but the other arm (pernida) has two. Can u upload a video telling us why it is different and what does the eyes represent and why yhwach eyes have became three?
Fantastic video
Shame you sacrificed a portion of the analysis just for spoilers
Funny how the guy whose sword has no powers will always be the most entertaining to watch compared to others
