S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio. The film stars Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, and Bobby Simha while Vani Bhojan, Sananth, Vettai Muthukumar, Deepak Paramesh, and Aadukalam Naren in supporting roles. Story wise, it's very normal and incoherent.. But Mahaan can be watched for Chiyaan and Bobby Simha's terrific performance, also Sanath and Muthukumar nailed their roles.. Sana's music🔥🔥🔥

Did anyone notice vikram dress color and dhuruv dress color. Dhuruv introduced with white and vikram in black. They both changed colors in climax dhuruv in black and Vikram in white showing their personality change.

I just watched the movie for 5th time and everytime I feel like the movie is vera level especially vikram sir
Personally , i feel if Late Actor Kalabhavan Mani sir acted either role of Gnanam or Sathyavan it will be a next level , performance , but both Bobby Simha & Vettai Muthukumar did a extraordinary job with their respective roles
Overall Mahaan is one of kind film Father and Son together.

Sir I thought you are out of form director after watching Jagame thanthiram now after watching Mahaan I changed my mind. If the movie was a little short by 15-20 mins this is a brilliant movie.
Mahaan movie & review just resembles what happened during Sethu movie got negative review from paper reviews then after a week people started promoting it was great movie then it was block buster ; same thing happening for Mahaan , really happy to see it chiyaan. Vikram comeback for sure 💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥
First half set the tone slowly and second half carries with good pace, twists and climax is a top notch.peak mass moment interval ,fight scene between father and son and final climax .Vikram nailed it .what a performance from entire actors 👏 👌
The entire cast in the movie did a fabulous job. Father and son have competed with the acting. Though mixed review, I liked the movie.

Great writing, character arcs. Well written movie. Liked the idea of how extreme attitudes are not good. However, the ideology is just crappy. Gandians are not extremists. During pre freedom era, alcohol was one of the means used to lure, corrupt, and detoriate standard of living in India. Gandhi and a lot of freedom fighters fought for Indian made goods, salt, alcohol ban and a lot more. Eventually, alcohol is inevitable now, but people who do not drink or those who have principles can’t be termed as extreme ones. The concept of anything overdone is toxic is good one, however the way it was coveyed is very twisted. I see why mangai character was removed.Gandhi mahaans character would have been even worst in case it would have been there. The conclusion was crappy too, could have ended it with Gandhi just talking abt the “too much is too bad” instead of botching dada’s character. Dada was really good and dhruv nailed it. The only issue with dada was he was a bit stern in his ways, but his intentions were not as bad as Gandhi’s. Gandhi was 500% twisted and dark. I wish karthik has better ideologies and take good movies in the future rather than twisted ones. Glorifying bad is not great.
Directorial masterclass from Karthick subbaraj. loved ur ideology sir. But the way u portraits the ideology in the film could be much better IMO.
