Absolutely worth it. You’re a lucky man and hope you had a great birthday. I was fortunate enough to visit Bermuda in 2017. Gotta do it again soon. Thanks for sharing.
So glad your wife asked you what you’d like and pushed the boat out so to speak and flew / pushed a RIB out into the spectator fleet. Was great seeing the footage. I made it for 1d but came down with flu so missed getting shoreside.
A great synoosis of theze British people who chose to travel and supoort Ben Ainslie and his crew well done, to NZ fans and Peter, Nathan and crew great first race. Good luck for the remainder of this race.
@@Morningvicar awesome experience and had similar experience in Auckland. Listened to Grant Dalton whilst driving to work this morning, and has started working on AC38 already.
I get the impression that plans are well underway for AC38, I just hope the venue is somewhere reasonable. Would like to see it back in Auckland, it would be a great excuse to get over there. Barcelona did a fantastic job and is really easy for us, but I’m not sure they want to do another one. I hope it doesn’t follow the money end up in the Middle East. What I would really like is a return to the UK. (Preferably after we’ve won it 😊 ) Racing in the Solent is fabulous and how cool would it be to see AC75s racing round the island.

Fantastic holiday! Thanks for sharing!
WOW great video. Loved the different perspective from attending.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great photos mixed in with the video there. Being an ex-pat living in NZ I have a foot in both camps so can’t lose!
Matt took all the photos, I haven’t seen them all yet
Lucky Boy! Fab pictures
Time to modify Morning Vicar?
Can you imagine a foiling Shrimper? 😊
Bear in mind Kiwis would have to spend thousands $NZ just to get to Barcelona and back
That thought had occurred to me, it was a major trip for so many
Not a life jacket in sight , poor form
Poor form and not a good look Mr Vicar.
