My wife was Welsh, she had a really strong Welsh accent, when she spoke it sounded like she was singing, her voice melted my heart the first time i met her.
Miss her so much, RIP Tracey.

It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions for me watching this explore! In awe of the breathtaking views, laughing out loud at your comments, fear for you bumping into someone in the middle of nowhere with an axe and such sadness at the story of that poor women losing her whole family. Absolutely brilliant episode Adam.

The sun piercing through the rain clouds when you stand up at the church is utterly beautiful and the perfect backdrop to such a sad story being told at that very moment. What a beautiful scenery and country Adam. Thank you for sharing with us all. From across the pond, Chicago, IL. Cheers mate!!! Love your videos!!!

Oh what a video. I was so drawn into this story. The devil's bridge, you had me right there. I have done a lot of hiking in my days, alone and you are right when you said you feel as if someone is watching you. Out of all your videos, and I love them all, but this one is the one I would have loved to be walking beside, behind or wherever, with you. The water, the sheep, etc... It was breathtaking views. Even the weather was my kind of weather. When you mentioned Canada, you had that right. It did reminded me of some of the trails here in our country. I have to admit, I wasn't worrying about you getting back to your car until!! Oh My Lord when that guy came out and the look in your eyes and then the saw, if that's what it was he was carrying? My heart and then you say, what you said, I felt fear. I mean fear. Then I gave a gut laugh because I knew you would have made it home because you posted. He was a nice guy, thank God.The heartfelt story behind this family. Tore at my heart I am telling you. I would have taken my life as well, as a mom. Too bad her remains were not found and put to rest with her children and husband. Times have changed since then. I so, so enjoyed this. And for a good laugh, like you always do. I worry whenever you are alone, as I am sure your mother does. Anything could come at you, anything! Love, love what you do and your story telling and your smile and funny, funny way you have in what you do. Thank you, take care. Always play it safe.

Love, love, love this one Adam! So interesting as my Welsh ancestors were "Hughes" (N. Wales, mostly Anglesey) - being a genealogist (in Canada) I looked up at the GRO the cause of death of the father, Isaac Hughes. Died 6 Mar 1856 at the house, Nantsyddion, 32 yrs, occupation leadminer, cause of death (certified) was Typhus Fever. xx

Well in the end that was a thought provoking one. The bridge was very interesting, what a unique location that was. Got a little bit weird bumping into a lad with a hacksaw!!! Finished off a little bit sad. Probably for the best that there wasn't any paranormal investigation on this one.....seemed more appropriate to make it a normal visit. I enjoyed it, just wished it had a happier ending. Poor family. Thanks for taking us there Adam. P.S We all owe you two quid for the bridge!!

Hey Adam what a heartbreaking story, it gripped my heart so much i had to find out what happened to Margaret {the mother}, after searching through a few historical web pages and articles i came across one that said in time Margaret would find herself on consecrated grounds as St. Johns graveyard expanded, she now lies close to the vicar who apparently rejected her, This was from NorthWalesLive, So if you are in the area again maybe take a look

I’m sure the people that really built that bridge would be just a little miffed that a fictional character gets the credit for building it!
Unlike the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland, which was formed by geologic processes, this was built by real people.
Okay, Mr Grumpy Science Guy will relent and admit it’s a cute story!
Love your videos, Adam, keep up the great work, my friend!👍🏼

What an explore! The magnificent architectural design of the bridge to the tragic story of the family. One can only hope, and pray, that while the mother couldn’t be laid to rest with her family, she was united with them in the afterlife. I almost lost my son to an unknown illness when he was 6 months old but, through the grace of God and 3 months in the hospital, he survived (with much surprise to the doctors). I know the pain I felt. I can only sympathize with the grief and pain the mother felt after she lost her entire family. It’s times like that when you pray that God truly does have an understanding and forgiving heart.
Keep up the fantastic work and, as always, stay safe. Hugs from Pennsylvania. 💛
