This place feels more like a museum than a home. It renders one speechless. I can't imagine how you Lesley and Danny felt when you got your first glimpse of this place. The one thing I know is that yes, the art belongs in a museum. And it's outstanding it has remained untouched. It truly has to be one of the best you've documented. Great explore! Top notch!
No graffiti or theft! How awesome is that!! I so enjoyed this episode. What a fantastastic find. I hope this place is rediscovered and restored to its original splendor.
This place is INCREDIBLE!!!! Probably one of the BEST you all have done!!!! My VERY FAVE is the Bathroom!!!! LOVE that it is soooooo OPEN!!!! Thanks Guys, and be CAREFUL!!!!
I wish someone would restore this beautiful place. The plaster medallions at the beginning of your filming were beautiful, as were the pieces of furniture and chandeliers. It's hard to imagine someone walking away from this magnificent palace.
I believe the introduction said they lost the home under nefarious circumstances or did I misunderstand that? Sometimes you just have to leave. Start fresh somewhere else.
Leslie, Danny, this is truly the most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life! And the flora of wonderful Italy is just a fairy tale! This house, palace, is like a dream, as if it came from my dreams... An ideal place where I would like to live and die... Thank you for showing such beauty! A fairy tale... This is one of the best plots that you have (in my opinion). Great teamwork! You have a great tandem, it just works out wonderfully. Thank you, listening and watching is a real pleasure) Good luck to you, guys, and new opportunities! ❤🔥❤
This is not a castle this is a mansion and I'm really glad you two guys are together stay together ❤️ and keep on doing this you guys are the best I've been watching other explorers of abandoned places in you guys are truly my faves😊
What a wonderful castle. I really liked all the chandaliers and ceiling decorations from back in the day when craftmanship mattered. I always feel a little sad when seeing photos of people who are no more, I wonder what happened to them. Many thanks for the tour, I really enjoyed it.
Im speechless this palace was a masterpeice. I loved the very grand entrance hall it was a truly stunnng beauriful space. Thank you Lesley and Danny for another great adventure .
What a gorgeous palace. I absolutely loved the different chandeliers, especially the fine work where they had flowers vining around them. I’m glad you’re not afraid of heights! The roof view was beautiful but lots of climbing ❤
@michelleg7 it's a huge undertaking what's in its favor the house is not so old. The owner needs to be found to ascertain if he wants the house he may want to demolish and sell the ground. It appears smaller house are being built closer up the hill. It's a big decision for the family.
yes! I wonder what her relationship was to the family? For anyone who wants to know about Hedy LaMarr. She had a very interesting life. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hedy_Lamarr
Everyone during the Golden Age of Hollywood had photographs of their favorite movie stars. Hedy Lamarr was considered the most beautiful woman in the World. The Studios promoted the sending out of official photographs form the Studio promoting the Actor or Actress. Hedy Lamarr was one of the many Stars who worked under contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Studios in Culver City, California.
You guys just get better and better at showing us these wonderful places! I love how you pointed out the pretty roses. I was just imagining how gorgeous the roses must have looked when entering it as a wedding venue! Takes us back in time!❤
The round glass pieces in the furniture originated much earlier. It was left over glass from blowing glass and was used as it was not taxed. Many years later, as in this case, it became stylistically useful.
Thanks again for the beautiful exploration. I couldn't help but notice how a lot of the furniture on the first floor looked. Almost like they belonged in a church like the church organs. Kind of style from back in the day. I think it was pretty cool. Again, thank you for sharing.
I love how in awe they were. Their enthusiasm was contagious and made the tour of this spectacular palace even more special. Thank you for this amazing insight❤
It is so heartwarming listening to both of you loving the roses and the swing, tree, statues … Thank you for a very enjoyable video. BTW, did you need to get some kind of permission to access the house? Architecture is beautiful! Thank you to both of you.
I watch videos of beautiful abandoned and restored mansions all the time, but watching this video was one of the few times it was discussed , presented, and filmed in a way that made it visceral. I almost felt like I was there. Subscribed. ❤
Wow, that place was incredible. Love that chandelier when you first walked in has to be the prettiest one I’ve ever seen thank you, Danny and Leslie for another great video.☮️❤️❤️🙏
Beautiful Palace! Old pictures tells a sad story. I wonder what happened 🤔 Can't wait to see this beauty 🤩 All rooms are incredible and my favorite room is the library
Now the rich seem to be liars, cheats, and frauds. Integrity is gone. I have no respect for rich people these days. Love seeing these old mansions with you all though!

Thank you for the awesome exploration of the Virgili Villa. It's so sad to see it abandoned now . Very well done Leslie and Danny . It would be wonderful to see this home restored . Have a lovely christmas 🎄 .

The words I keep saying over and over again is Breathtakingly Beautiful. Thank you Lesley and Danny very much for the adventures and sharing all these wonderful places with us. ❤❤
This one breaks my heart because Danny was so excited with you over this place - took over 10 minutes to even get inside. God bless both you. I hope you have occasional reunion explores. Your viewers by nature are rather nostalgic. 🙂
That was amazing. Thank you both. I think that very heavy table was made from ironwood (it's not a specific tree type, the name refers to the density of the wood). I suspect that the 'white' room was where the ladies of the day would go to sit and drink their tea and talk and do their embroidery, while the gentlemen would retire to the more masculine 'red' room with the beautiful flocked wallpaper to read their newspapers, smoke cigars and talk business... or to the billiards room of course. I also wondered about the semi-circular shapes in the ceiling that you pointed out towards the end. I noticed them in some of the earlier rooms too. Curious as to what the purpose might be. On the table of photographs in the library room was a picture of the old Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr and I believe the picture of the ballerinas was an Edgar Degas print. This was a truly spectacular video. Thanks again for taking us along on the journey. 🙏
This is for me the best video i have ever seen. To bad I can't be in the live chat any more. My new cell phone doesn't even inform me when you guys are on. TY and a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Absolutely gorgeous palace! What a shame no one has rescued it! Love the architecture and art! I especially love that you investigate and share its history! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Amazing place!! Those pieces of furniture!!! The painting of the "Madonna and Child" is certainly from the workshop of Bartolomé Esteban Murillo, a Spanish painter. It should definitely be in a museum, although it may be a simple copy, but a very good copy.
What an absolutely gorgeous palace!! This is my all time favorite of your explorations and adventures!! Thank you so very much for taking us with you. Love and good vibes sent your way from America. 🇺🇸 ❤❤😘😘❤️❤️

Fantastic in every way! A few thoughts I had, as you walked through; the upper floor may have been servants’ quarters, the very large bathroom may have been to accommodate ladies’ hoop skirts and unless I missed a room, the dining room downstairs seemed to be the only room large enough for a small ballroom. I’d have to watch it through again, but I saw no place for any musicians near it. I could be entirely wrong about all of it, except it’s beauty. Well done! ❤️👏👏

Give us some context and history of the people that inhabited it otherwise it’s just another old house.
I want to know the history, too, as my cousins are Virgili's and wish to learn of this as well.
