A couple days ago we all thought sub 20 was impossible, now we've reached sub 1 😂
These runs are only valid in the unrestricted category. The normal category actually bans this glitch.
@@RobertPendell oh, that's good to know, i'm quite new to speedruns so this is new info for me, i'm also really glad these are banned in normal category as it at least keeps things interesting.
@@Truebro79 That's also why you don't see that soccer ball boost at the start of runs anymore, like we used to see a couple days ago. The dragon wing boost is excluded from that rule however. (for now)
@@ManuPwn i don't think the dragon wing should be banned as it is quite hard to get right anyway.

It’s incredible how fast a large group of people can completely destroy a video game that was thought to be extremely difficult

@@yamaNGap When you go for world records glitches is cheating. Like sure, you can have the fastest time but you'd have to do it without glitches to be considered and to be legit. It's sportsmanship to go for it without any glicthes and have a fair competition is all i'm saying. So you CANNOT claim such times when you don't even play. The map throws you right at the finish LOL yes it's fun to watch and entertaining but not a legit word record score.

hey how do you avoid the big rock? i hit it with any super rolls i hit.
You have to get a lucky enough launch to be fast enough to basically avoid the tree on the way up
@@ShadeCOD most of the runs bar yours actually end up hitting the tree surprisingly
@@opprentice Yah sometimes you get a solid tree hit that doesn't slow you down too much. I honestly think the angle to hit the glitch has to be almost pixel perfect
@@ShadeCOD I can hit it every 15-20 attempts ie every 3 minutes or so but I tend to hit the construction yard more than anything if it isn’t the rock sadly :/ like you said if pixel perfect you just zoom, I think I’ve had that 3? Times but never get to the end with it… and then I somehow dropped frames near the top slowing me down ://

So in order to do this glitch, you have to use Slow mo BEFORE the character moves at all. Then you just roll towards the newspaper at the edge of the dock thing and spam the shit outta jump. It should launch you up, in which case, you can let go of slow mo. Hope this helps!

Nah nah, to the guys below or above. Sub 20 was for “no major glitches” category, and this guy did it for “unrestricted” category. Still, very impressive, I’d even say unbeatable for this category👍

@@ShadeCOD Do you know what is used to determine the power of the roll? I've been able to get it like 6 or so times but ALWAYS hit the tree. The furthest I've been is the city and bridge of cars.
Also do you try aiming for the far right newspaper that is off the dock or just anywhere at the end of the stack?

Naw slow mo just allows for the glitch to work. Haven't been able to get the glitch to work without it. I just uploaded a video on how to do the glitch if you're curious
@@ShadeCOD I was more wondering if you have to be in slow mo for the entire roll or if you could just use slow mo at the end of it. It would probably save a good bit of time. Also, gonna check out that tutorial and try out the glitch for myself :)
