I finished two projects - a pair of socks knit with a OOAK Lemonade Shop yarn, and also finished my Pink Velvet Sweater knit with Euphoria knits yarn.
Also started three other projects, a pair of Flourite Socks knit in Hedgehog Fibres, I started an Old Harbor Hat designed by Tammy Gore, and also started a pair of simple textured socks knit with The Fawn and the Fox Tweed yarn.
Etsy news: I'm working on some patchwork bucket bags that will be in the shop update on January 21st
Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this video I'd love to hear your thoughts down below.
Absolutely love the red velvet sweater! Lovely!
Thanks! I'm looking forward to wearing it
Great to see a new episode. The Pink Velvet is stunning! I love a tubular cast on and bind off, so neat and even.
Thanks for watching! Yes totally worth the effort
Your color work sweater is so beautiful!
Thanks! I'm really happy with it
So good to see a new video from you!
Yay I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I loved fawn and fox and have a few special skeins to use on day! It’s great to see your projects in her yarn. Your pink velvet looks beautiful!
I loved Lara's yarns too! I have plans for a few more projects with her yarn soon
Happy New Year! Your Pink Velvet is so perfect, love the colors! The patchwork project bags looks great!
Thanks! It's a great sweater. I'm having fun with the patchwork bags, just cut out liners this morning
That's a really good point about sizing of bulky sweaters. Thanks.
I'm glad it makes sense!
Hi Laura. Your folded down sock cuffs look interesting and I think I’ll try that.
You should! They're great
Happy New Year Laura! I appreciate all the time and effort you put into making a podcast. 💕 Love your Pink Velvet sweater. That color work 😊gorgeous!
Thank you!
Never heard about the folded cuffs, interesting, going to try it myself.
It's a great technique!
Happy New Year! Its wonderful to see you again! I love the sock cuff idea. I bought a pile of patons self striping for little in between projects and will definitely try the cuff. I work part time at Micheals..I grabbed the Seaglass of the woolease...just loved the colours and had to have it. I will be watching for your over sized sweater!! It sounds like a great idea. All your finished items are beautiful 😍
Oh yeah I was really tempted by the sea glass color too.... I hope you like the folded cuff as much as I do!
So glad you’re back! Two things, I love your project bags and even took it to my Portugal trip back in December! I’ll post a picture on IG and tag you ! also, it’s funny you mentioned the woolease yarn in that color way! I’m currently knitting a basic moss sweater in that exact yarn and color! Happy near year to you and love your videos :)
Oh fun! I've always wanted to visit Portugal, and exciting that we'll be sweater twins!
Hi Laura! Glad you’re back. 😊. So I’m here in the US and I was trying to figure out why the Wool-ease seemed so expensive to me, though they did seem bigger than the skeins I’ve seen at Michaels. How many yards are in those skeins?
They're called 'Bonus Bundles' or something like that so I think it's an extra large ball. It weighs 12oz/212 yards
Just curious where you got your shawl wall shelf. Did you make it yourself? I love it!!
I got it used from a friend and painted it (it was just raw wood when we got it) but I'm sure you could find something similar - I love that it has the shelf on top and the hooks below
@@iheartewe thank you!! I think every knitter needs a shawl wall. Haha
