Nashville History 101

This class is an overview of Nashville and Davidson County history in which County Historian Carole Bucy engaged the participants in a discussion of the many names that Nashville has been called over the years. Beginning with the Shawnees who came into the region of the Cumberland River as hunters and ending with the creation of Metropolitan government, Dr. Bucy explores settlement, economic growth, education, Nashville in time of war, and a host of other topics.
